Leroy knew how Bonnie could eat, both when she wasn't pregnant and when she was, but he couldn't help but notice that this time it was different, but he didn't say anything. Instead he tugged into his own food. "How is it going anyway, you haven't been to an actual scan yet have you?" he asked before he put the peace of meat into his mouth that he had carved out and chewed at it as he looked over at his daughter. He couldn't help but notice the slight glance she sent AJ and he started to get a bit apprehensive, everything was okay with the baby, wasn't it?

Bonnie came to a halt in her food intake when she heard her dad's question. She briefly glanced at AJ before she turned her attention back to her dad. "Actually we had one done in Paris.....My morning sickness kinda kicked in again really bad and we just wanted to make sure that everything was okay and we had a scan," she said and looked at AJ for a moment before she looked at Nick and her dad. "We're having twins," she said and looked at her cousin who had stopped his fork halfway between the plate and his mouth and her dad who looked at her as if she was kidding.

AJ gave Bonnie a reassuring smile, he was still coming to terms with the fact that they were having twins, but he knew that since they were surrounded by family that would help them out, hopefully. Taking a hold of Bonnie's hand, AJ gave her a squeeze. "Its a shock isn't it... but it's true, blame me if you want, there a twins all over the place in my family." he explained offering a light hearted laugh. Deep down AJ was absolutely terrified at the prospect of having not one but two babies to look after, hopefully they would be a walk in the park like Jamie had been, he couldn't help but hope for that, it was a lot to think about, as well as having Jamie as well, but they would manage.

Leroy couldn't believe it....twins? "Wow," was all he could say. He was literally lost for words. But hearing AJ he chuckled a little. Bonnie got a bit offended by her dad's comment. "What is that suppose to mean? I've always had a healthy appetite, so I eat a little bit more," she said and let out a light huff before she started to shovelling in again. "Besides I need all the food I can get to keep my energy level somewhat reasonable," she said. It was no secret that she got tired more easily and the last month of constant sickness and the fact that she could actually eat again without throwing it all up again made her go nuts when it came to food. She had always had an healthy appetite, something Jamie showed proof of too.

AJ chuckled a little hearing Bonnie's response, of course he wasn't going to judge her eating, in fact he was more than happy to encourage it, as long as Bonnie was happy, then he was happy. Placing his hand on Bonnie's leg, AJ gave her a gentle squeeze, before turning his attention back to his plate and tucking into his food. "So... as you can imagine there are a few things that we have to sort, we don't know what we're having, but we still have stuff from when Jamie was a baby, so we'll be sorted if we have two girls." he explained digging into his potatoes, slicing a knob of butter onto it and watching as it melted.

Nick couldn't help but laugh when AJ mentioned if it was two girls. "Be careful you don't turn into a girl as well with all that oestrogen in the house," he said and took a sausage on his plate. "If you get two sets of girls, I better make it my right as a man to kidnap you once in a while, so you can be around testosterone filled people," he said with a light chuckle. Nick had pretty early on found AJ pretty cool, sure he could complain worse than any girl, but Nick hoped that with his discrete guiding, he could get AJ to loosen up a bit. "Maybe go to a football match and see grown men lie on top of each other or maybe some boxing where they beat the crap out of each other," he said and shovelled some more food in.

AJ looked to Nick with a raised eyebrow, sure he knew that he wasn't as manly as the next guy, but so what. "Hey there is nothing wrong with wearing a tiara and going to a tea party... is there princess?" he explained laughing a little and looking over to Jamie. AJ couldn't help but be at his daughters beck and call, he would do anything for her and Jamie, and if that meant he had to wear a plastic crown and pretend to drink tea then so be it. "Though I wouldn't mind heading out for a spot of fishing at some point." he explained looking thoughtful for a moment before he continued eating.

Leroy's head popped up when he heard the word fishing. "Now that's my kind of talking," he said. Then he gave Nick a nudge. "You could use some quiet time in a boat too," he said and sent his nephew a wide smile. Then looking over at his son-in-law. "When ever you feel like it, then we can go fishing, haven't been out for a while. Oh I need to get the boat ready," he said. A couple of years back he had bought a small boat, but he hadn't prepared it for the new season. "If you two guys find an evening with nothing to do, then feel free to come over and help me with the boat. It would be done faster if it was," he said and sent AJ and Nick a smile.

AJ nodded a little when Leroy mentioned fishing and going out and preparing the boat. AJ never thought that he would want to ever go fishing, but he actually find it quite enjoyable, sure the whole gutting and filleting thing he still had to get used to, but he knew that Leroy would so him how, eventually. "I'm sure that I can free up an evening at some point during the week, though I'm sure I have to drop by the antiques shop at some point." he explained shrugging his shoulders a little. AJ was aware that he would have to show his face at some point, but he was trying to put that off for as long as possible.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
