Jamie was in an awfully cheerful mood when they finally came back after their little trip to the park and Bonnie was in quite the happy mood herself. Running into Reira had been fun. After Jamie had run upstairs to her room, Bonnie headed into the kitchen and started to look through the cupboard where she had all her herbs and such. But as she looked out of the kitchen window she spotted AJ stand outside. It had started to clear up a bit, so the sun actually appeared. She closed the cupboard and headed out through the back door. "Hey sweetie," she said and moved over to him and gave him a kiss. She had decided to take Jamie out, so AJ could have some time to himself. After they had gotten back from Paris, Jamie had been a bit clingy, not just to AJ but to Bonnie as well and it could be a bit much at times. "Ran into Reira. Told her about the double up," she said and padded her stomach. Bonnie was still a bit unnerved about the fact that they would be having twins, but she was sure they could figure that out as well.

AJ liked being out in the garden when the weather was good, and unusually he was enjoying the time on his own. It had been pretty full on recently, what with the honeymoon and finding out that they were having twins, and with Jamie being that little bit more clingy, plus the amount of work that he currently had to get through, Arthur was surprised that he hadn't taken up drinking again, or smoking. Not that he would, ever. As Bonnie spoke, AJ turned his head to look at his wife, a smile instantly forming on his face, as she mentioned that she had seen Reira and that she had mentioned that she was having twins, his face fell a little. He couldn't hide his anxieties about the babies. Sure he wouldn't change it for the world, but two babies at once, as well as a toddler? "I take it she was shocked." he explained, looking to Bonnie through his shades, arching an eyebrow a little. Reaching a hand out, Arthur gently tucked a loose strand of hair away from Bonnie's face, the smile reforming on his lips.

Bonnie shook her head a little. "Actually no, she wasn't," she said and wrapped her arms around his waist as she looked up at him. "She and Evee will stop by tomorrow when I get home from work so Jamie and Evee can play together for a couple of hours. So if you want to get away from girl chit chat, then they'll be here by two," she said and gave him a wide smile. She didn't mind if he made a run for it, especially with a house filled with women. "Oh and then there's something else I want to talk to you about," she said and now put on her puppy dog face as she leaned in and placed soft kisses along his jawline, which pretty much indicated that she wanted something he just might not like. "The thing is that our apartment that Sophia gave us is not being used while we are here.....Soooo I was thinking that if some of our friends or family would be in Paris that we could lend our apartment out," she said and looked hopeful at him.

AJ looked down to Bonnie when she moved closer, and as she explained that Reira would be heading over tomorrow he nodded a little, he was sure that he could busy himself in the garage or something, maybe go for a run, or go and see Leroy, see if there is a game on or something. Wrapping his arms around Bonnie, AJ knew that there was something coming when Bonnie gave him her cutest puppy dog eyes. Then listening to Bonnie, AJ raised his eyebrows. "Bonnie we've hardly used the place ourselves yet... I mean, if your Mom and Dad want to head over then sure." he explained, AJ knew that he was perhaps being a little absent minded, but he didn't want to have other people breezing through their new apartment, when they hadn't properly enjoyed it yet.

Bonnie bit her lower lip a little. "My parents won't be heading for Paris. And I know we haven't used it, but I don't like it just lying there and not being used," she said and leaned in just a little bit more, there was a slight apprehensive look on her face now, cause last time she brought up a certain A word, he had completely lost it and she didn't want him to do that again. "The thing is that I have a feeling that Reira is getting engaged soon. Reira told me that Aidan wanted to take her out of town for a while and well I know that Aidan wants to ask Reira to marry him, soooo I suggested they could go to Paris and that they could borrow our apartment while they were there," she said and just waited for what ever outburst he might come with.

Arthur knew that there was more to come, the look on Bonnie's face said it all. When she said that she thought that Reira and Aidan could head over there, AJ looked to her, his mouth falling open a little. Stepping back a little and dropping his arms from around her, AJ knew that he could be potentially evasive when it came to Aidan, but he certainly wasn't happy about the guy being in his apartment more than he had been. "No... if you don't want it left empty we'll rent it out, but there is no way that I'm letting him enjoy it more than I have, regardless if Reira is your friend." he explained looking to Bonnie, raising an eyebrow a little.

Bonnie let out a sigh, she knew it wouldn't be easy, but she wouldn't give up just like that, but on the other hand she wouldn't push him to the point where they would get into a fight, the last one they had before their wedding had scared her off a bit. Moving closer to him again, she tugged in his shirt a little. "I know you don't like him, but please for me," she said and gave him one last pout. If he still said no, then she would accept it and just have to tell Reira that they couldn't borrow the apartment after all. One thing was for sure, she didn't want to argue with him over it.

AJ let out a sigh when Bonnie pulled that pout on him, he was literally putty in her hands, and however much he disliked this idea, how could he say no to her now. Wrapping his arms around Bonnie's shoulders, AJ kissed the top of Bonnie's head. "What am I going to do with you? Fine they can use the apartment, but not our bedroom, we can have one of the other rooms made up for them." he said pulling back so that he could look at Bonnie. Arthur knew that if he didn't at least try and swallow his pride a little, Bonnie would be upset with him. Gently tucking some hair away from her face, AJ pushed his shade up and rested them on his head, looking to Bonnie with a warm smile.

Bonnie had been ready to give in when he said what he said and a bright smile spread on her face. "That's a deal," she said and leaned in and gave him a passionate kiss. "And because you're such an amazing husband, I'll treat you a little tonight when we have our alone time," she whispered against his lips. "Maybe I could put on something black and in leather, while I pull some magic on you," she whispered as she pressed her body against his, moving her head just a little so she could look into his eyes. Hers glowing mischievously and a smile spread on her face and with that she pulled away and headed back inside with a smirk on her face.

Arthur wished that he could take Bonnie then and there, but with them being out in the garden and the fact that Jamie was still up stopped them. When Bonnie said that she could slip into something black and leathery, AJ's mouth fell open but as she walked back into the house. He hated how she was able to get away with working him right up, and simply walking away from him. Sighing heavily, Arthur made his way into the house, trying to came himself down a little. Walking up behind Bonnie, Arthur pressed himself into her, showing her what she had done to him. "Where something Lacey and I'm all yours." he whispered into her ear, gently nuzzling into her neck a little.

Bonnie stood by the worktop when she felt AJ press himself up against her back and she couldn't help but smile. "Feels like you're already mine if it was," she said and turned around and glanced down a little before she looked back at him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Just too bad we can't do anything about it right now," she whispered, her lips dangerously close to his. Tomorrow it was back to the old drill with work, but there was no way she would send her daughter over to her dad's just to get some alone time with AJ. No they would either have to risk it or wait for the evening. "What do you say we barbecue. Got some meat in the fridge, could make a nice marinade. Make some salad, eat early and hopefully get Jamie to bed early. She's been pretty active today, so if we are lucky we can be on our own around seven," she said and looked at AJ with a smile. "Unless you want to risk getting caught and do it here," she whispered in his ear, brushing her lips along his jawline. She was teasing him right now, but the thing was, she didn't mind taking the risk.

AJ looked to Bonnie with a raised eyebrow, he knew that Jamie could and probably would walk in on them, but right now he wasn't sure if he would be able to hold on until later this evening, in fact it would be torture. Smiling playfully down to Bonnie, Arthur reached a hand to her cheek, gently brushing her thumb over her skin. "The barbeque sounds good... the risk sounds even better." he whispered smiling cheekily down to Bonnie. Then locking eyes with her, AJ brought their lips together in a very passionate kiss, pushing her against the worktop, in one swift motion, AJ lifted Bonnie up onto the worktop, moving in between her legs as he held her close.

Bonnie clung herself to him as he lifted her up on the worktop and as he moved closer, she kicked off her shoes behind his back before she wrapped her legs around his waist. Her arms tightly wrapped around his neck as she pressed herself against him. She knew they had to work fast, but just as she was starting to work on his pants, Michael Bublé could be heard from upstairs and shortly after followed by thumbing sounds on the ceiling. Bonnie couldn't help but chuckle. "I have a feeling we'll be going to a dance recital afterwards," she said before she quickly got AJ's pant opened. At least they would have some time to run on, cause when Jamie first started dancing around, she could keep that up for quite a while. Normally Bonnie would have knocked on her door and tell her daughter to turn down the music, but this way they could hear her. But dispite the possible extra time, she moved on to her own jeans shortly after.

Arthur moaned against Bonnie's lips but couldn't help but raise on eyebrow and smile when the music and thumping started above their heads. Taking to kissing Bonnie's neck, AJ moved his hands down the front of her body, taking over from sorting her jeans out. "Why are you wearing jeans?" he mumbled lifting Bonnie up with one arm and peeling her jeans down her legs. Dropping the jeans to the floor Arthur moved back in between Bonnie's legs, hitching her legs against his hips. Arthur knew that Jamie could easily get bored with her dancing, so yes they could have a little extra time, but it was never guaranteed with Jamie, but they had gotten this down to a fine art, they could be quick when needed.

She chuckled to his comment about her wearing jeans, but he managed to get them off her pretty easily. Wrapping her legs around him, she practically clung to him, catching his lips in a very heated kiss, keeping her moans down while doing it, but when she had to come up for air she couldn't help but make a slight moan, although she kept it down, even though the music and the sound of Jamie's feet over their heads could be heard. Bonnie melted into him completely, even though the chance of getting caught by their daughter, then she couldn't help but be in the moment right there with the love of her life. "I love you too," she managed to say, finding his lips and kissed him passionately. How was it possible to have so strong feelings for another person and again it was like they were the only two people in the world, even though their daughter was in the room right upstairs and she knew that when the twins were born and big enough to run around, then it would be downright impossible to do something like that.

As Bonnie found his lips again, Arthur couldn't help but moan into the kiss, picking up the pace ever so slightly. As much as he wanted to take his time with Bonnie, right now he knew that they weren't at liberty to do so. With his breathing as heavy as ever, Arthur pulled Bonnie that little bit closer, if that was even possible.
Letting out one last, louder than he had expected moan, Arthur's movements stilled. He felt like his heart was about to burst out of his chest, his breathing was heavy, but he kept himself so close to Bonnie, gripping firmly at her behind, making sure that she didn't move just yet. "That was... amazing." he muttered in a whisper of a voice. Briefly looking up to the ceiling, AJ raised his eyebrow, at least Jamie sounded like she was still dancing around, so they wouldn't get caught yet, hopefully.

Bonnie felt like she was on fire, practically clinging to him afterwards, she rested her head on his shoulder as she tried to catch her breath. Chuckling a little when he said it was amazing. "Face it, we are perfect together," she said in a hushed tone and it wasn't something she said. When ever they were together it was like she could tune in on him, like they were in sync, not to mention the way she felt about him had a major factor as well. Finding his lips she gave him a soft kiss. "Just wait for tonight.....," she whispered against his lips and locked eyes with him before she kissed him again this time more passionately, her arms wrapped tightly around him as she pressed her body against his as if she wanted to make sure he didn't vanish on her.

When Jamie couldn't dance any more she fell to the floor and lied flat on her back and looked up at the ceiling as she tried and catch her breath. The music that had been playing ended and she just listened to the silence. Suddenly something tickled her hand and she turned her head. She jump up screaming and shaking her hand, so the spider that had found its way up on her hand flew through the air. She ran out of her room while screaming. "DADDYYYYYYYY!!!" she screamed in horror and stormed to the stairs, but when she reached to the second last step she couldn't quite handle the speed and she fell down. Landing on all four she started crying. Her knees hurt and the fact that the solid ground had suddenly disappeared under her had scared her, and to top it all there was a huge spider in her room, well it was huge to her. "MOMMYYYYYYY!" she now screamed. Tears streaming down her cheeks.

AJ had been getting in the mood again, specially hearing what Bonnie had to say about tonight. However the moment that he heard Jamie scream, he had moved away from Bonnie and washed pulling his jeans up. Panic starting to set in, AJ rushed out of the kitchen, gasping a little when he found Jamie on the floor at the foot of the stairs crying her eyes out, "Princess what happened?" he asked scooping Jamie up into his arms, cradling her to him, looking her over to make sure that she didn't appear to be hurt. Brushing his hand through her hair, Arthur didn't like to see Jamie like this, it broke his heart.

When she felt her dad's protective arms around her and she was in his arms she sobbed loudly into his chest. "Itwaseatingmemakeitgoaway" she sobbed, her nose running heavily as well. Jamie didn't like spiders and the fact that one had been on her hand made her wipe it against her dad's shirt. "My knee hurts" she managed to say and looked at her dad with big brown sad eyes, welling over with tears, sniffling a little too, pouting her lips just to make it clear that she was not happy.

Arthur made slight shushing noises as Jamie continued to sob, he had no idea what she was so upset about, since he couldn't really understand what she was saying about something trying to eat her. Then when she explained that her knee her, AJ looked at her with a concerned smile, gently cupping her hurt knee with his hand. "You're knee hurts? Well we can't have that... let's see what daddy can do to make it better... I don't like seeing you all upset." he explained bringing his hand up to the back of Jamie's head, rocking a little. Moving through to the living room, AJ moved over to the couch and took a seat, keeping Jamie in his lap. Looking down to the little girl's knee, AJ could see a bruise forming, and it made him feel a little sick to think of Jamie hurt. "You need to remember to be careful on the stairs." he explained, he wasn't telling Jamie off, far from it, he was just concerned that she could have hurt herself a lot worse.

After AJ had rushed out of the kitchen when they heard Jamie scream and shortly after a loud thud sounded when she fell down the stairs. Bonnie quickly got herself sort, although she wasn't as fast as AJ could be. But when she finally reached the stairs there was no Jamie or AJ, but she could hear Jamie's sobbing from the living room. She headed in there and moved over to the couch and took a seat next to AJ and a clearly devastated Jamie. Seeing the bruise on Jamie's knee she placed her hand over it. ♥A green light came from Bonnie's palm and it wasn't long before the bruise was gone.♥ "There you go. Do you feel better?" she asked and looked concerned at Jamie who nodded with a slight sob. Jamie leaned her head against AJ's chest, but it wasn't long before she was in Bonnie's arms and Bonnie wrapped her arms around Jamie, kissing the top of the little girl's head. "It's going to be okay sweetie," she said as she cradled the little girl.

AJ watched as Bonnie healed Jamie's hurt knee, at least now it wouldn't be hurting his little girl any more. As Jamie moved into her mother's lap, Arthur reached a hand to the little girl's cheek and gently brushed his thumb over her wet cheeks. "What were you so afraid of sweetie?" he asked looked concerned to Jamie. Jamie nuzzled into her mother, she was glad that she had her parents around her again. When they were away it felt like they were gone for a year. Even though she had a fun time with her granddad then it wasn't the same and even if she could speak with her parents and see them over the computer then she preferred the physical contact with them. After she had finally stopped crying and her dad asked what had made her scared, she looked over at him with the usual pout. "It was a big spider. I was on the floor and looked up at the ceiling and and and......then I could feel something on my hand," she said and pointed on the spot on her right hand where the spider had been and reached her little hand out to her dad so he could look at it. "It was trying to eat me," she said, resting her head against her mother's chest.

AJ took Jamie's small hand and looked at it for a moment, he was actually seeing if there were any bite marks, but thankfully there weren't any. Smiling softly AJ gently brushed his thumb over Jamie's knuckles, before kissing her small hand gently. "I'm sure that it wasn't trying to eat you sweetie... you know that spiders are more afraid of you than you are of it.... I'll go and get rid of it." he explained smiling softly to Jamie, kissing her gently on the forehead before he got up from the couch and darted upstairs. Heading into Jamie's room and started to look around the room, he couldn't see any spider, though he assumed that it was in here somewhere, and knowing how much Jamie hated the things, he would at least have a little root around. Checking under the bed, AJ got back to his feet and looked around. Just as he was about to leave the bedroom, AJ spotted something out of the corner of his eyes, said spider was now over by the window. Letting out a slight sigh, Arthur managed to get the spider in his hand, surprised at how big it was, sure it wasn't huge but it wasn't the typical spider. Opening the window, AJ placed the spider outside on the window ledge, shutting and locking the window. Double checking the corners of the room, AJ then started to make his way back downstairs.

As AJ left them to search Jamie's room for the spider, Bonnie managed to get Jamie in a better mood and it wasn't long before they had found their way to the kitchen where they were working on the marinade for the steaks. Bonnie loved spending time with her daughter and it was often that she let Jamie take part in baking and cooking in general. "Can you put this into the bowl?" she asked and put some salt into the palm of the girl's hand and after they had added the rest of the ingredients, she let Jamie stir while she went to the fridge and got the meat out and started to put the marinade on the steaks. When that was done she put it back into the fridge so it soak a little in the marinade. She had made some dough that morning for buns, which was what they started on next and it wasn't long before Jamie had flour all over her. "I'm starting to think you're a bun. Are you my little bun?" she asked and wrapped her arms around her daughter and nuzzled her nose against the little girl's puffy cheek so Jamie let out a giggle.

Walking into the living room, AJ stopped when he realised that his girls had disappeared on him. Frowning a little, Arthur headed out of the living room and into the kitchen, where he stopped in the doorway, a wide smile stretching over his face. Just watching the pair of them made AJ's heart swell with love for his two girls. "I have made sure that Mr. Spider is gone... I think he was just trying to get back outside." he explained walking into the kitchen, moving behind Bonnie and placed a loving kiss on her cheek, before he moved and kissed the top of Jamie's head, loving the fact that their daughter was covered in flour.

Bonnie gave AJ a warm smile when he kissed her cheek. "Our hero. It's nice with a big and strong Daddy who can deal with the big bad spiders," she said with a slight chuckle and nuzzled her nose into Jamie's cheek again, which made her giggle even more. "Maybe Daddy could show his skills with the barbecue and start it up, while the women finish up in here," she said and moved so she could wrap her flour covered hands behind AJ's neck as she leaned into him and gave him a kiss. "So we can get something to eat and then to bed," she said as a mischievous expression moved over her face as she looked at AJ, referring to what they would be doing when they got to bed. Giving him a kiss that promised of something more before she let go of him and tapped his nose so he got flour on his nose. Luckily it was pretty common for Jamie to see her parents kiss each other and hug each other so she simply minded her own business and made buns or at least tried to.

Arthur was pretty much left wanting more as Bonnie kissed him, wiping the flour off his nose, AJ chuckled a little and headed outside, trying to keep himself as 'calm' as possible. Heading towards the garage, AJ pulled out the barbeque, luckily he wouldn't show himself up since it was a gas one, and as he twiddled with a couple of the knobs, AJ stood and watched as the coals set alight. Rubbing his hands together, AJ smiled widely, before making his way back into the kitchen. "We could invite you're dad over if you want, maybe Nick as well?" he asked standing in the doorway and looking to Bonnie with a small smile. Of course he wouldn't mind if it was just the three of them, but since they were getting the BBQ out, why not make it a family affair.

Bonnie was in the process of putting the buns into the oven when AJ appeared again. She turned her attention after she had closed the oven door, a smile spread on her lips. "That would be great, got plenty of meat for all of us," she said before she started to clean Jamie up a bit so she didn't look quite as white as she did. "I'll give them a call," she said and grabbed for her cell and sent a message to both her dad and her cousin. The first one to respond was Nick, he would love to come and shortly after her dad responded as well. "Okay two more for dinner," she said with a smile. Then she continued with the cooking, or rather get things out of the fridge they could use for a salad.

AJ nodded and smiled a little, at least they had nice weather for the time being. When Bonnie started to get some more things out of the fridge, AJ moved into the kitchen, gently brushing his fingers through Jamie's hair. "Maybe we should get you cleaned up before Grandpa gets here... I'll head out a sort the table out, but it under the gazebo so that if it rains we won't get wet." he explained looking thoughtful for a moment. Kissing Jamie on the top head, before kissing Bonnie on the cheek and heading outside again. Moving to the garage again, Arthur hauled the wooden garden table and carried it over to the gazebo that they had gotten for a wedding present, then moving to the garage again, he took a hold of all six chairs and carried them across the garden.

Bonnie simply nodded. While AJ prepared the table and chairs, she stood by the sink and cleaned the various vegetables, glancing out the kitchen window every now and again, just to look at AJ. They really had it good here, she loved the new house and with two little ones on the way there would be plenty of room for them, not to mention they had a bigger garden too. She found a pot and put some water in it and placed it on the stove, adding some salt before she turned on the heat. Briefly checking on the buns before she got Jamie started on the cucumber. Jamie had learned how to use a small knife and as long an adult stood next to her then Bonnie wasn't worried. She had found a bowl where they could put the different things in. Bonnie got started on the salad head, chopping it up, she looked forward to the time to come where they could sit outside and eat.

Making sure that everyone would have enough room around the table, AJ smiled to himself looking at the table, then heading back to the Barbeque, AJ checked that everything was going smoothly, which of course it was. Letting out a content smile, AJ headed back inside. "The Barbeque is ready and waiting, Madame Le Roux." he explained walking into the kitchen. Heading over to one of the cupboards, AJ took down enough plates for all of them, and placed then on the counter. Watching his two women in the kitchen, AJ couldn't help but smile, he loved watching the two of them cooking, it was just too cute seeing Jamie concentrating the way that she did, even if he was a little apprehensive when she used her little knife, but Bonnie was here so it was fine.

Bonnie turned her head as she heard AJ said the barbeque was ready. She placed the knife she had been using and moved over to the fridge and opened it. She took out the meat, a pack of sausages too and some corn and put it all on a tray so AJ could have it all. Placing it on the worktop she sent him a bright smile. "There you go chef," she said with a smile before she returned to the salad, assisting Jamie a little when she needed it. Bonnie thought it was important to include Jamie as much in the cooking, not only did Jamie learn from it, but she also knew how the food looks like before they started frying, stewing and cooking it. "And the little chef is doing a great job," she said and kissed the top of Jamie's head, who looked up at her mom with a proud look on her face before she continued working on the tomatoes she had started on.

Taking the tray off Bonnie, AJ smiled back to her. Standing in the kitchen for a little while, just watching the two of them, it was a heart warming sight to see. Still smiling, Arthur left the kitchen and headed out in the garden. Placing the tray on side of the barbeque, AJ took the pair of tongues that were hanging to one side, and started placing the meat on the hot grids. As much as he loved Bonnie doing the majority of the cooking around the house, Arthur liked that he was given certain things to do, he didn't want Bonnie to think that she had to do all of the cooking all of the time, and he would certainly be doing more the more pregnant she got, AJ would definitely be making sure that she followed doctor's orders and took it easy. "We got any potatoes Bonnie?" he called looking towards the kitchen window. AJ always loved baking potatoes on the barbeque, he liked the way the skin went crispy.

Bonnie was in the process of putting pasta in the boiling water when she heard AJ ask for potatoes. She moved over to the window and opened it that way it was easier for them to talk. "Don't you think we've got enough. I'm making pasta salad, then there's ordinary salad, corn and bread. Do we need potatoes too?" she asked with a chuckle. Of course if he wanted potatoes, then they did have some. "We do have them if it is," she said, briefly looking to Jamie who was in the process of eating the tomatoes she was slicing. "Don't eat it all," she said and took the remaining cut up tomatoes away from her and put it in the bowl with the salad.

Turning the heat down on the meat, AJ moved over to the window and pulled it open just that little bit further so that he could stand and look to Bonnie a little better. He knew that they had a lot of food, but since he wasn't all too keen on corn, he figured that it would be an extra side dish for him. "Just a couple, besides I'm sure that Nick can help me devour them." he explained looking to Bonnie hopefully, he was sure that all the food would get eaten, and if it didn't then they would finish it off during the week. Peering through the window, AJ smiled widely at Jamie and grabbed a couple of pieces of tomatoes, popping them into his mouth.

Bonnie was just about to open the cabinet door under the sink where they had the potatoes when she spotted what AJ did. "Hey!" she said, lashing out after him. "What kind of example to set for our daughter," she said and gave him a slight scowl, but then a smile spread on her face. She took a couple of potatoes up and washed them a little before she handed them to AJ. "Anything else you need?" she asked and looked at him with a playful smile on her face. She figured her dad would come soon and Nick would probably as well.

AJ chuckled a little when Bonnie hit his hands away, he knew that it wasn't a good example, but he knew that Jamie was well behaved. Taking the potatoes, Arthur looked to Bonnie with a playful look on his face. "No I'm pretty much set out here... I am getting a bit lonely out here... maybe Jamie could help me set the table?" he asked briefly smiling towards Jamie, before he turned his attention back to Bonnie. Nodding a little, AJ made his way back over to the Barbeque placing the potatoes on the side, reaching down he took the wrap of foil and proceeded to wrap the potatoes in said foil, before placing them over the heat, turning it up a little. Taking the tongues, AJ flipped the meat over so that the other sides could cook as well.

When she heard her dad ask if she could come out and help him it wasn't long before her mother had cleaned her messy fingers and found the cutlery and gave it to Jamie who headed outside, followed by her mother who put a tablecloth on the table and placed the plates on before she went back inside and continued with what ever they had been doing. Jamie carefully placed knives and forks on. The knives on the left side of the plate and forks on the right side of the plates or was it the other way around? "Daddyyyyyy?" she said and ran over to him, wrapping her arms around his leg as she looked at what he was doing. "Can I have a soda for dinner?" she asked and looked up at him. Her big brown eyes looking at him with a slight plead. She knew that she normally didn't get one, but it was Sunday and they were having guests.

Arthur smiled and watched as Jamie concentrated on laying the table, she was just too cute for words sometimes. Turning back to check on the meat, Arthur smiled to himself, he had the life that he always wanted now, and he wouldn't ever change anything. When Jamie wrapped herself around his leg, AJ looked down to her. Scooping down, AJ picked his daughter up and placed Jamie on his hip. "Its a little late on for you to be having soda princess... you can have some juice if you want." he explained looking to Jamie with a soft smile. AJ knew that Jamie had been good all day, but he didn't want her up for hours after dinner, not if him and Bonnie had plans, however selfish that that may be. Turning down the heat a little, AJ spun around a little, lifting Jamie up into the air as he did so.

Jamie pouted a little, but she didn't mind juice, at least it wasn't water or milk, which was what she usually got. But suddenly her dad twirled her around and she squealed cheerfully. And it tickled in her tummy. When she finally was back on her dad's hip she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his cheek, before resting her head against his shoulder. "Daddyyyyyy?" she said again. "I love you," she said and flashed him a big smile before she hugged him tightly, but then she heard a familiar voice and she looked up. "It's Grandpa," she said and wiggled in her dad's grasp so she could get down. And it wasn't long before she ran around the house and shortly after came dragging with her Grandpa.

Leroy had heard his granddaughter's squeals from the backyard as he had crossed the street. He had called out as he decided to head straight for the backyard as he was pretty sure they were there. The scent of food hit his nostrils and he realised he was hungry. It wasn't long before his granddaughter came flying and after he had given her a hug, she had grabbed his hand and dragged him with her. He spotted his son-in-law and he sent AJ a bright smile. "Hi. I can see you've found the barbecue out," he said moving over to AJ so he could greet him properly, waving to his daughter who stood in the kitchen and he caught a hi dad. He took a look at what was on the barbecue and he had to admit it didn't look bad. He picked his granddaughter up, who was tugging in his hand. "And how is my little squirrel?" he asked and gave the little girl a warm smile. He loved his granddaughter and soon he would have another grandchild, which he looked forward to. He only had one child so he would appreciate what ever grandchildren that came his way.

AJ put Jamie down and watched anxiously as she ran to get her grandpa, when Leroy rounded the corner he smiled to him. It was no secret that over the passed couple of years they had grown closer, in fact AJ regarded Leroy has the surrogate father that he always wanted. "Well it was just going to be the three of us, but since we've got enough food to feed the five thousand we thought we would make it a family affair.... do you want a drink of anything? I think we've still got some beers left." he asked looking to Leroy. Of course AJ didn't drink any more, and wouldn't ever think of it, but he always had something in for the boys.

Leroy kissed the top of his granddaughter's head before he put her back down and watched her running inside. "Only if it's a cold one," he said as an answer to AJ's question. He had to admit, he quite liked the guy Bonnie had married, sure it had started out rough, but it was clear that AJ loved Bonnie and seemed to have quite the take on Leroy's granddaughter, so it wasn't all too bad, so he had pretty much taken AJ under his wing, listened to him if he needed a guy to talk to and in general helped out when ever he could, if it was looking after Jamie or on the more handyman approach. He looked towards the gazebo that he and Abby had given the happy couple for their wedding. It had arrived while they were in Paris, so he had pretty much been in charge of getting it set up. "Breaking in the gazebo I see," he said and moved over to it, stepping inside and looked at it as if it was the first time he had laid his eyes on it.

When Bonnie came out with the bowl of salad and headed over to the gazebo. "Hey Dad," she said and gave her dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek after she had placed the bowl on the table. She turned around and spotted her daughter had followed her with a smaller bowl, where Bonnie had made some dressing. She helped Jamie and moved the bowl further in on the table. "I can't wait to sit out here on the warm summer evenings," she said and looked a closer look at the gazebo. Heading back inside she turned off the oven and took out the buns and she also turned off the stove and removed the water from the pasta, pouring some cold water over so it would cool down a bit faster before she put it in a bowl and added dried tomatoes, red onions and other goodies. As Jamie seemed to be following her around where ever she went, she moved over to the fridge and took out some butter and she also found the salt shaker. "Can you carry that out to the table as well, Sweetie," she said and gave the things to Jamie. And watched the little girl disappear outside, a smile forming on Bonnie's lips. It was a great girl they had, she liked to help, which was always a good thing.

AJ nodded when Leroy said that he would have a beer if it was cold, of course he always kept a couple of beers in the fridge, smiling a little, AJ headed into the house and grabbed a beer for Leroy, briefly giving Bonnie a tender kiss on the lips, before heading out into the garden again. "Well you know, I thought that we may as well, and the table fits in there perfectly.... here you go." he explained moving over to the gazebo and handing the beer out to Leroy. Arthur loved the gazebo, sure it was a bit feminine of him, but he wanted the garden to look nice for Bonnie, and with his persistence it was slowly getting there. Plus with the gazebo, they could eat outside even if they were threatened with rain.

Leroy accepted the beer and took a sip of it. "Well I'm glad you like it. We had one back in New Orleans. When Bonnie was little it was often Abby put Bonnie in the pram, while Abby sat and did what ever she did, reading or something else," he said as he remembered back. "So ready to return to real life after the honeymoon?" he asked. One thing was to be only two for a couple of weeks and then suddenly return to work and children, Leroy had enjoyed taking care of Jamie though.

AJ put his hands in his pockets and smiled when Leroy explained that him and Abigail had a gazebo in New Orleans, then when he was asked if he was ready to head back to the real world, he looked thoughtful for a minute. "It was strange coming back, just being the two of us was bliss, but I missed Jamie and I'm sure that Bonnie did too, I mean it was just too quiet at times." he explained shrugging his shoulders a little. "I have a lot of stuff to catch up on, e-mails and the like but yea I guess I'm ready to get back into the swing of things." he explained with a slight nod. It had been good being on honeymoon, just him and Bonnie, but he was glad that they were home now.

Nick never said no to a free meal, so when he got the message from his cousin, he had accepted right away. So he grabbed a quick shower before he headed down to the Le Roux house. Living in their old house was a bit weird, but he kinda liked the place. So far he was only renting it, but when he could afford it, he would buy it off their hands. He knew how important the house was to Bonnie, so it had only been natural that he took it over when they moved to a bigger place.

Reaching the house, he could hear talk from the back yard, so he thought why not head around the house. And right so, he spotted his uncle and AJ talking, while Jamie and Bonnie went in and out with food. "Yoho. Looks like I'm just in time," he said and when Jamie can storming towards him, he lifted her up and kissed her on the cheek. "Hello gorgeous," he said, giving Jamie a smile before he put her back down, so she could storm after Bonnie who had waved to him when she was heading back inside. He moved over to AJ and Leroy. "Welcome home," he said and patted AJ's shoulder. "Hope the honeymoon was honeymoon like," he said and sent AJ a grin.

Arthur turned a little when he heard Nick, and watched with a smile on his lips as Jamie rushed over to him. Then when Nick welcomed them home, AJ couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Oh yea it was... like no other honeymoon, not that I have anything to compare it too, I'm glad to be home though, I mean I missed my little princess." he explained shrugging his shoulders a little. What could he say? He was a proud father through and through. "Can I get you a beer Nick?" he asked looking to Nick. Sometimes AJ missed drinking with the boys, but the memories that were brought back with alcohol were some that he would rather keep buried away, so it was easier to keep away from the stuff.

Nick chuckled a little, well if they had been arguing then it wouldn't have been much of a honeymoon, but it sounded like they had a great time and that was all that mattered. When AJ asked if he could get him a beer he shook his head. "Sorry can't do. I'm on duty tonight. After I've eaten I'm heading home to change and then off to work," he said, sure he could handle one beer, but it was company policy, no drinking 24 hours before you're on duty. "So what are we having....What ever it is, it smells great," he said, moving closer to the barbecue to take a closer look at the food there.

AJ nodded a little and understood where Nick was coming from. Turning his attention to the barbeque, AJ turned the meat again, it would all be ready soon. "Well meat obviously, got some sausages on, corn.. couple of potatoes, Bonnie's been making salad as well as pasta salad, and home made bread... go take a seat, it'll be done in a minute or too." he explained grabbing the tongues and a clean plate that he could pile the meat on. Undoing the foil on the potatoes and corn, AJ glanced over to the kitchen window, smiling a little, he loved having the family over, since he didn't really have any of his own, he wanted a big family, which is what they were now going to get.

Bonnie had made some lemonade earlier that day, so with the last couple of things in her hands, Jamie carried the basket with bread, they came back out. Bonnie took a seat and she had Jamie right next to her. She poured some lemonade up in Jamie's glass before she did it all the way around finishing off with her own and took a sip. "Well tug in, we've got more than enough," she said after her dad and Nick had sat down. She loved these moments and she couldn't help but send her husband a warm smile. She had always been in favour of family and sitting here with her daughter, husband, dad and cousin it was like everything came together in a perfect red bow. Her dad and AJ got along great and so did Nick and AJ, it was no secret that her family had welcomed AJ, well the exception of her grandmother, but hopefully she would soften a bit, although she didn't keep her hopes up as Olivia still wasn't too fond of Leroy.

Having placed the plate of meat and hot things in the centre of the table, AJ took a seat next to Bonnie, briefly kissing her on the cheek, before ladling some salad onto his plate, taking one of the potatoes and putting it on his plate. AJ smiled around the table, briefly looking to Jamie. "You know I already said that Jamie could have some juice and not soda with her dinner, she'll be bouncing off the walls with that stuff." he explained chuckling a little at the thought of Jamie being up longer than she should be. Of course there was nothing wrong with that, but AJ wanted to get Jamie to bed as soon as possible, however selfish that was. Taking a swig of his lemonade, he did have to admit that Bonnie was amazing, and the lemonade was thirst quenchingly good.

Bonnie chuckled a little. "Well this isn't soda and I think she can manage one glass of lemonade without her hanging from the curtains," she said and gave AJ's thigh a light squeeze before she helped her daughter to get food on the plate and it wasn't long before Jamie was stuffing herself with food as Bonnie proceeded with her own plate putting quite the pile on before she dug in, but she stopped in the middle of a mouthful when she noticed her cousin stare at her. "What? I'm pregnant and I'm hungry," she said with her mouth full of food before she continued, putting some more food in, just to prove a point.

Nick raised his fork as if he surrendered. "Sorry. I know you are a big eater, but I've never seen you devour food like that, like you haven't eaten for days," he said, then looking over at AJ. "You haven't been starving the woman have you?" he said with a chuckle. He was just joking. Nick was the down to earth kinda guy, who liked to mess around a bit, poke people a little just to keep them in gear. At least that was his reason for it.

Pushing his shades up and resting them on his head so that he could better look at everyone, he couldn't help but laugh a little when Nick asked if he had been starving Bonnie. "Dude have you ever tried to keep Bonnie from any form of food... I wouldn't dare try that, I value my manhood far too much... but no she is pregnant as she says." he explained shrugging his shoulders a little. Of course AJ and Bonnie both knew why she was wolfing her food down, yes it was because of her pregnancy, but it would probably have something to do with two tiny babies growing inside her, as opposed to just the one.

Leroy knew how Bonnie could eat, both when she wasn't pregnant and when she was, but he couldn't help but notice that this time it was different, but he didn't say anything. Instead he tugged into his own food. "How is it going anyway, you haven't been to an actual scan yet have you?" he asked before he put the peace of meat into his mouth that he had carved out and chewed at it as he looked over at his daughter. He couldn't help but notice the slight glance she sent AJ and he started to get a bit apprehensive, everything was okay with the baby, wasn't it?

Bonnie came to a halt in her food intake when she heard her dad's question. She briefly glanced at AJ before she turned her attention back to her dad. "Actually we had one done in Paris.....My morning sickness kinda kicked in again really bad and we just wanted to make sure that everything was okay and we had a scan," she said and looked at AJ for a moment before she looked at Nick and her dad. "We're having twins," she said and looked at her cousin who had stopped his fork halfway between the plate and his mouth and her dad who looked at her as if she was kidding.

AJ gave Bonnie a reassuring smile, he was still coming to terms with the fact that they were having twins, but he knew that since they were surrounded by family that would help them out, hopefully. Taking a hold of Bonnie's hand, AJ gave her a squeeze. "Its a shock isn't it... but it's true, blame me if you want, there a twins all over the place in my family." he explained offering a light hearted laugh. Deep down AJ was absolutely terrified at the prospect of having not one but two babies to look after, hopefully they would be a walk in the park like Jamie had been, he couldn't help but hope for that, it was a lot to think about, as well as having Jamie as well, but they would manage.

Leroy couldn't believe it....twins? "Wow," was all he could say. He was literally lost for words. But hearing AJ he chuckled a little. "No one's blaming you son, as far as I can recall I think there are twins in Abby's family," he said rather thoughtful, he was pretty sure he had heard the mention of twins somewhere. "So maybe a combination.....Well that's big news and no wonder you're eating like that," he said with a chuckle and looked at Bonnie with a warm smile.

Bonnie got a bit offended by her dad's comment. "What is that suppose to mean? I've always had a healthy appetite, so I eat a little bit more," she said and let out a light huff before she started to shovelling in again. "Besides I need all the food I can get to keep my energy level somewhat reasonable," she said. It was no secret that she got tired more easily and the last month of constant sickness and the fact that she could actually eat again without throwing it all up again made her go nuts when it came to food. She had always had an healthy appetite, something Jamie showed proof of too.

AJ chuckled a little hearing Bonnie's response, of course he wasn't going to judge her eating, in fact he was more than happy to encourage it, as long as Bonnie was happy, then he was happy. Placing his hand on Bonnie's leg, AJ gave her a gentle squeeze, before turning his attention back to his plate and tucking into his food. "So... as you can imagine there are a few things that we have to sort, we don't know what we're having, but we still have stuff from when Jamie was a baby, so we'll be sorted if we have two girls." he explained digging into his potatoes, slicing a knob of butter onto it and watching as it melted.

Nick couldn't help but laugh when AJ mentioned if it was two girls. "Be careful you don't turn into a girl as well with all that oestrogen in the house," he said and took a sausage on his plate. "If you get two sets of girls, I better make it my right as a man to kidnap you once in a while, so you can be around testosterone filled people," he said with a light chuckle. Nick had pretty early on found AJ pretty cool, sure he could complain worse than any girl, but Nick hoped that with his discrete guiding, he could get AJ to loosen up a bit. "Maybe go to a football match and see grown men lie on top of each other or maybe some boxing where they beat the crap out of each other," he said and shovelled some more food in.

AJ looked to Nick with a raised eyebrow, sure he knew that he wasn't as manly as the next guy, but so what. "Hey there is nothing wrong with wearing a tiara and going to a tea party... is there princess?" he explained laughing a little and looking over to Jamie. AJ couldn't help but be at his daughters beck and call, he would do anything for her and Jamie, and if that meant he had to wear a plastic crown and pretend to drink tea then so be it. "Though I wouldn't mind heading out for a spot of fishing at some point." he explained looking thoughtful for a moment before he continued eating.

Leroy's head popped up when he heard the word fishing. "Now that's my kind of talking," he said. Then he gave Nick a nudge. "You could use some quiet time in a boat too," he said and sent his nephew a wide smile. Then looking over at his son-in-law. "When ever you feel like it, then we can go fishing, haven't been out for a while. Oh I need to get the boat ready," he said. A couple of years back he had bought a small boat, but he hadn't prepared it for the new season. "If you two guys find an evening with nothing to do, then feel free to come over and help me with the boat. It would be done faster if it was," he said and sent AJ and Nick a smile.

AJ nodded a little when Leroy mentioned fishing and going out and preparing the boat. AJ never thought that he would want to ever go fishing, but he actually find it quite enjoyable, sure the whole gutting and filleting thing he still had to get used to, but he knew that Leroy would so him how, eventually. "I'm sure that I can free up an evening at some point during the week, though I'm sure I have to drop by the antiques shop at some point." he explained shrugging his shoulders a little. AJ was aware that he would have to show his face at some point, but he was trying to put that off for as long as possible.
