Another month had came and went. April seemed to have flew by especially fast what with it being mostly dedicated to Bonnie and AJ’s wedding but now with that out of the way, the days have been on the relaxing side. Reira figured she’d get out of the manor for once and take a stroll on this nonchalant day.
Wanting to be somewhat on the safe side though then she made her way down to the park in the human area instead of the one out in town. Vampires (or even werewolves for all she cared) couldn’t get her there. If there was anything to worry about it would be any dark magic folk, wild kiddies or stray rabid dogs if there were any roaming about for whatever reason. After taking some time walking she made her way to a bench and simply sat there a bit absent mindedly otherwise letting her amber eye wander about the grounds and taking in the spring beauty. Sure it was cloudy but then again it was still spring. Perhaps before getting back home she would visit Bonnie or something seeing as she was back from her honeymoon. She didn’t dwell on the thought so much at the moment though. All she wanted to do was lounge about and relax.

Jamie was being her usual bubbly self and especially after her mom and dad had come home again, it was like someone had fed her several energy drinks. She was already several feet ahead of her mother chasing a fairy, well she pretended she was chasing a fairy. "HURRY UP MOMMY!!!!" she called out as she cut off a corner, waving her hands a little as if she tried to catch something laughing joyfully as she jumped over a tiny rock on the path, but then she spotted someone familiar. "REEREE!!!" she yelled and stormed towards the bench where her aunt and godmother sat and it wasn't long before she had practically jumped up on Reira's lap and gave her a massive big hug. "Mommy and Daddy are home.....Look!" she said and pointed from where she came, just as Bonnie appeared around a corner. "LOOK MOMMY!!!" she said loudly and cheerful and bounced up and down on Reira.

Bonnie had decided to get Jamie out of the house, even though she still suffered a bit from jet lag, then she wanted to give AJ the chance to get some time to himself. Jamie had pretty much been over him since they came home. Of course they had barely reached the park before she had rushed off. But the moment she spotted Reira a wide smile spread on her face. Apart from a certain glow Bonnie had and the slight loose clothing, then she looked pretty much the same, but knowing that she was a newly wedding woman and pregnant, everything simply fit with the way she looked. "Jamie, treat Reira nicely, she's not a trampoline," she said with a slight chuckle as she came closer to her best friend and daughter. And Jamie sat politely still and flashed Reira a bright smile. "Hey Reira. Didn't expect to run into you here," she said and gave Reira a half hug, mainly because Jamie had taken a seat on Reira's lap and it wasn't so easy to get to her. Bonnie took a seat next to her friend.

Reira had her eye closed and was slouching against the back of the bench, her hands neatly folded upon her lap. She heard screaming from a child and although it sounded quite familiar then she didn’t bother to move as she figured it could be any kid visiting the park. However when she suddenly got the wind knocked out of her, she let out a loud ‘OOF’ as she briefly stared in shock at her god daughter all of a sudden but of course finding out it was her made her chuckle and hug the girl back with an embrace just as massive. "Hey kiddo. Didn’t expect to see you here." She grinned before looking in the direction of where the young girl was pointing at to find Bonnie coming there way. Her hand made a wave motion to her friend as a wider grin spread on her lips. "Well hey there Mrs. Le Roux." She laughed a little as she accepted her best friend’s hug. "Well I figured I needed to get out of the manor. Was going to visit you guys actually but bumping into you here is nice too." Reira smiled before taking the time observe her friend. There was something different about her… in a good way at least… Probably just the fact that she was now a married woman that made her see her friend differently. "Soooo…. How was the trip? Feels like I haven’t seen you in forever." She nudged Bonnie, cheekily smiling to newly wed. As she awaited her friend’s answer then she loosened her arms around Jamie and got the girl comfortable in her lap. She always enjoyed spending time with the pair every chance she got.

Bonnie chuckled a little. "The trip was great, well as great it could be when you're pregnant," she said with a smile. She had a really bad period while in Paris, but she was starting to feel somewhat better. "Had to see a doctor over there because my morning sickness just kept getting worse......Those French are not used to magical pregnancies," she said with a slight chuckle. Then she looked at her daughter. "Jamie why don't you head over to the playground," she said and pointed to the playground on the other side of the path. Jamie gave Reira another hug before she moved off Reira's knee and ran over to a sandpit. Bonnie observed Jamie for a moment. "It's going to be twins," she said and looked back at Reira. It was no secret that both AJ and her had been a bit shocked, and Bonnie was still a bit freaked by the thought of having two babies to deal with in seven months, but still.

"That’s good." Reira smiled in hearing about her trip although she had to laugh a little at the comment about the French. But then as she thought about it, she was a tad curious. Wasn’t the baby’s abilities supposed to show up towards the end of the pregnancy? Which she knew Bonnie still had some months to go before then. When her friend gestured Jamie over to the playground, Reira smiled to the girl as she was given yet another hug before watching her dash away. Bringing her attention back to Bonnie, she stared back at the woman a bit after she spoke out her news. "Twins?! Wow that’s great, Bonnie. Congratulations." Bonnie briefly looked back at Jamie, watching her little girl in the process of making a sand castle. "Shocked, one thing is having one baby, but two......still a bit hard to understand, but we've got seven months to get used to the idea, but it won't be easy," she said and looked back at Reira with a slight smile, but then she got a more serious expression on her face. "I knew there was something different, the thing is I've felt something, mostly when I was with AJ and got a bit excited. I just thought it was ordinary butterflies, you know, but it also felt a bit like something moved inside me and when we had the scan to make sure nothing was wrong, there was this light. Do you think that the whole ability thing starts sooner when it's twins?" she asked. She knew how to handle one child, but what about two.

Reira thought it was great that Bonnie was having twins but she could understand the concern her friend was feeling for it. After all one baby was one thing while two was a whole different story. And then to get through the whole pregnancy especially with this new issue that Bonnie was bringing up. "Well I’m no baby expert but I think that could be a possibility… I mean it would make sense at least… If the baby’s ability were to show up in the last months of the pregnancy then with two… well I would think it’d be doubled." And if that was the case then not only would her abilities be on the chaotic side then so would her stress levels. Looking thoughtfully to her friend, she placed a hand on her shoulder and gave it a comforting squeeze. "I know this must feel more than overwhelming… But you’ve got AJ, me, Cassie, Lilly and I’m sure you’re family to help you through this." She smiled reassuringly. Reira was definitely not going to repeat what had happened with Bonnie’s pregnancy with Jamie.

"I know, one thing is for sure I don't want to get anywhere near where I was when I was expecting Jamie, but so far this pregnancy hasn't been anything like it," she said and briefly looked at Jamie before she turned her attention back to Reira. "The morning sickness alone is a nightmare, hopefully it's starting to slow down now, cause I don't think I can go through another seven months with that.....AJ has been great, taking Jamie out so I can take a nap or make my special tea when the sickness get too much for me," she said with a slight smile. This time around AJ was with her from the start, which she preferred. "What concerns me the most is my abilities, I mean I don't know exactly know what their main abilities are, but if light is involved then it has to do with the elements," she said and turned her gaze back to Jamie, who clearly had fun in the sand. Her daughter had always been great at playing with herself, but hopefully she could have a lot of fun with her younger siblings when they were big enough to play.

Reira simply nodded to Bonnie as she expressed her concerns for the pregnancy especially what with her now carrying twins. Thoughtfully she looked out towards the playground carefully watching Jamie as well as she had her fun. If not for that miscarriage then she’d imagine that right now she would also be laying out her own concerns to Bonnie… might have been neat to be pregnant at the same time with her friend… Share the experience so to speak. Briefly she looked down to her flat stomach and ran a hand softly over it. A sigh escaping her before moving her gaze back to the playground. It made her a little sad inside actually but of course she wasn’t going to speak out anything of the sort. "Well at least that’s one thing. Gosh with your current abilities then add the twins’, you’re practically a super woman or something." She chuckled lightly hoping that would bring some amusement to her friend although she had a feeling it wouldn’t. "But being on the serious side then that’s just something we’ll be finding out hopefully soon so you can adjust to it throughout the rest of the pregnancy." They couldn’t exactly take matters in their own hands and figure out the babies’ main abilities although that would be so much helpful.

Bonnie looked down to her own stomach that had started to have a slight curve to it. "I'm going to be huge....Besides I don't think I'll be able to do my High Priestess duties what so ever," she said and looked at Reira again. Right now she wished there was a Priestess to take over, but so far the energies didn't seem to have any plans. "I got tired after a little bit of magic when I expected Jamie, then imagine how it would be with twins.....I just might have to live like a human until after the birth," she said. Of course she tried not to use her abilities in her daily life, but lately she had been using it more than usual.

"Oh shush… Even if you’re huge as a whale you’d still look sexy. Although getting around is sorta another story…" Reira smiled cheekily to her friend before shrugging a little. "Well hopefully the Energies will bring out that test soon… Ever since you mentioned about the possibility of me being Priestess I’ve been quite anxious and on my toes for whatever they’d throw at me." She laughed a little. "But for whenever that would be then even if I’m not a Priestess yet I’d be more than willing to help you out in any way I could." Priestess or not then in the end she’d help Bonnie out no matter what. "Hmm… Might be interesting living out as a human." She said thoughtfully. But as she mentioned it being interesting living like a human, she turned her head and looked at Reira. "How is Aidan?" she asked. She hadn't been in contact with Cassie after she had come home and wouldn't do so until tomorrow, so how it had been between Aidan and her and him working at the shop while Bonnie had been away was still unknown, but hopefully Reira had some news. Reira looked to Bonnie in hearing her inquire about Aidan. She sent her friend a small smile. "He’s doing good. Much better these days." Sure she still noticed him being on the down side now and then… Heck she had her own alone times when she’d suddenly feel sad all of a sudden but in the end she knew they could get through their problems… together even. "And no, miraculously she hasn’t although I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened at some point. He’s notioned that our gypsy friend scares him a little bit. Bonnie chuckled a little as she heard of Aidan and Cassie. "Well I'll be back tomorrow.....Then if it is he can work from home, although I have a feeling that he will be taking over for me the closer we get to my due date," she said. If anyone had said that she would hire Aidan to work for her only a couple of months ago she would have thought they were crazy, but after Aidan had confessed everything and got his punishment it was like Bonnie had a change of heart or maybe she was just being herself. This was her way of giving him a second chance. She wasn't doing it for him, but mainly to show Reira that she was trying and it was up to Aidan to prove that he could be trusted. "Need to find some room for him in the back room in case he'll be working at the shop when both Cassie and me are around," she said with a slight thoughtful mind. "It's strange getting back to reality after two weeks away," she said and gave Reira a smile.

Reira really did think it was nice of Bonnie to be going out of her way to give Aidan this job and having some tolerance towards him. He didn’t really need any hostilities from anyone right now especially from the one who gave his punishment in the first place. Sure she knew well that AJ was still iffy about her boyfriend but hey, he couldn’t get everyone to like him. This was just the start after all but she knew eventually things would come around for Aidan if they weren’t already starting to. "That’d be nice…" She smiled before a wide grin crept her lips. Bonnie let out a light laugh as Reira gave her a nudge. "It was amazing. It's not often we get the chance to be alone for this long, especially with that little firecracker in our lives," she said nodded in Jamie's direction, a soft smile playing on Bonnie's lips. "And who knows when we get some time on our own again, especially with these two coming," she said and placed a hand on her stomach. Looking back at Reira, one thing was for sure, Bonnie was glowing and it wasn't just because she was pregnant, but because she was in love. "Everything is just perfect right now," she said and as it should be of course, but she sometimes had to pinch herself to be sure that everything was real. That she was married to the love of her life that she really was pregnant and that she had the most amazing daughter and friends she could possibly want.

Reira cheekily grinned to Bonnie’s reply and when she gestured to Jamie, she couldn’t help but move her gaze towards her god daughter; letting it linger on the young girl for a bit longer. It certainly was a wonder as to how the couple would get their alone time but she was sure they’d find some way to do so. "Well you’ve got plenty of available babysitters if need be." She assured thoughtfully. Bringing her gaze back on Bonnie she couldn’t help but smile at how happy her best friend appeared right now in this very moment. "As it should be. But nevertheless that’s wonderful to hear." Reira smiled as she draped an arm around her friend’s shoulder and squeezed her gently into a hug. She didn’t pull back afterwards though but simply kept them like that as she looked back to the playground. "After everything you’ve been through, you deserve this happiness and I just wish you the best for the future." As for Reira herself well then things seemed content for now and she didn’t mind it in the least.

Bonnie had missed her friend and it was nice sitting and chat. She turned her head and looked at Reira with a secretive smile. "Soooo, what about you and Aidan? Everything as it should be?" she asked and looked curiously at Reira. Well not that Bonnie expected the engagement between her friend and Aidan like now, but clearly he had something up his sleeve, so she was just being a curious friend who wanted to make sure that everything was as it should be between Reira and Aidan. She wanted her friend to be just as happy as she was.

Reira brought her eye back on Bonnie and couldn’t help but slightly raise a brow. It wasn’t often that her friend inquired about her love life…. Or at all really… Not to mention there was something in the tone of her voice that made her a tad suspicious for whatever reason. But she didn’t say anything on it. "Eh… I guess you can say that. Otherwise things seem to be going good between us right now." She smiled subtly before leaning a bit more back into the bench and looking up to the sky. "We’re thinking of heading out of town sometime soon…. Or rather he’s the one that suggested it. Not for too long though probably just three days at the most or something…. I’m not so sure about it yet though…" She shrugged a bit. Reira definitely thought she needed to get away from the town even for a little while but then again she wasn’t too comfortable with the idea in case some unexpected drama decided to pop up again. Either in or out of town. Plus what if she was needed in those days she wasn't available? Definitely wasn't something she wanted to risk.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
