Bonnie stared at her friend when she mentioned getting pregnant so she would stay out of trouble. "Does Nick know about this?" she asked with a slight chuckle, leaning up against the counter a little. "Could be nice with some more little ones in the family. My mom told me that my uncle has been complaining that he doesn't have any grandchildren. Of course my mom only has one, well one and half," she said and patted her stomach a little and sent Cassie a big grin. Of course at this moment, Bonnie was happily unaware that there were two little magical beings growing inside her.

Cassandra gave a nervous laugh with Bonnie's question. "Oh gosh, no," she replied. "Not sure how I would tell him that... 'Hey honey, if you get me knocked up, I won't be getting into anymore trouble and other drama.'" She rolled her eyes playfully as she walked over to one of the shelves, pretending to be focusing on fixing up the items. "Of course, I wouldn't say it like that, but I might as well, right? Besides, me, a mom? Goodness, that child would be everywhere, just like me..." She tried to make it sound like a bad idea, but she couldn't help but smile at the thought. Every time she thought about the future with Nick, she couldn't help but get ideas.
"Gah, why am I being the topic of this conversation?" Cassandra asked, turning around. "We're supposed to be celebrating for you." She hugged Bonnie then bent down to face Bonnie's stomach. "And you are going to be so loved and spoiled it's not funny," Cassie smiled. She stood back up and sighed. "It's going to be so hard to keep this secret until after the wedding, you know that?"

Bonnie chuckled when Cassie spoke to her stomach and she couldn't help but place her hand on it afterwards. Something she had a tendency in doing when she expected Jamie. "I know, but I want to wait. Not to mention I have to somehow tell Reira as well," she said and got a more serious expression on her face and let out a sigh. "I can only imagine how it must be to loose a baby. Those times where I went into false labour with Jamie. The thought of something happening to her, it was unbearable. Even though it hadn't been the perfect start when I got pregnant, then after AJ and I figured things out. I just wanted her to be okay, after all it was AJ's baby," she said. Then letting out another sigh and shook her head a little.
However when the bell over the door suddenly rang she turned her head, but there were no one there as the door closed again. She looked back at Cassie before she looked back at the door. "Okay, either it's a ghost, someone who's invisible or someone who's telekinetic and I swear I didn't do it," she said and it was too soon for the baby to act up.

Becka had arrived a couple of days earlier. She was on tour as backup dancer and when the road went near Carpe Noctum, she couldn't help but swing by and say hello to her cousin. She knew about this magic shop Bonnie owned. Even though the town exactly wasn't huge, then she still managed to get lost, but eventuall she found the right place.
She peaked through the window and saw her cousin speak with some other woman. She chuckled silently and disappeared from view, leaning up against the wall as she let the door to the shop open, so the bell rang, before it closed again. She waited another couple of seconds before she moved over to the door as if she was only just arriving and went inside. "Alo. Èske sa se kote ou ka jwenn yon boul kristal?" she asked and flashed a wide smile to the two women.

When the door went again, she looked annoyed at it, but her mouth dropped when she saw who came in. She moved around the counter and Cassie as she squealed while rushing over to the woman and gave her a tight hug. "Becka, wacha doin' 'ere," she said and gave her cousin another hug. Then she looked at Becka's hair. "Jeez it's red," she said and grabbed a strain of the red hair. "Yah shoulda come until the wedding, girl," she said. For some reason when she was around Becka her accent change completely.

Cassandra looked around when Bonnie talked about the door opening on its own. Considering what has been going on lately, Cassie couldn't help but feel instantly defensive. But someone suddenly appeared and spoke in the familiar language that Bonnie and Nick spoke in. From the way Bonnie reacted and hugged her, she figured the her friend knew the woman. Although, the name Becka sounds familiar... "I swear Bonnie, your family keeps popping up out of nowhere," she laughed. Just by looking at them, Cassie could only assume they were related. Besides, there's only one family in town that knows Creole, so it makes sense.

Becka chuckled and let out a squeal herself as her cousin did before she was hugged tightly. "Easy woman, don't squashy the baggie," she said with a chuckle. When she heard the other woman talk, she looked towards her. "Uhhh pretty," she said and sent Cassie a wink before she looked back at her cousin. "I'm just passing through. I'm on tour and the road went around this place, so I thought I would pop in," she said and gave Bonnie a wide smile. "Hi. I'm Becka. Nick's sister and I bet you're Cassie," she said and winked at the woman, flashing her own bright smile. You couldn't keep secrets from Rebecka and she had managed to get it out of Nick that he was seeing someone here.

"Well I would sure hope so, although they tend to come a bit earlier than expected," she said and referred to the surprise visit from her grandparents and now Becka, although it sounded like she would be leaving again. Becka turned her attention back to her cousin and with a heavy sigh, her long red locks turned back to her normal colour. "Better? Gosh woman, you're just like Grams," she said with a chuckle. She knew that Bonnie didn't like to hear that, which was why she said it. Then she looked around the shop. "So how's the magic business going? I doubt you're selling for dark voodoo," she said and looked at her cousin, who gave her a stern stare. "Relax, as if I would go in here to buy something like that. Not in front of a High Priestess," she said with a chuckle. Yep, Becka liked to make herself noticeable, not to mention when she first got started talking, then it was hard to get her to stop again.

Cassie smiled back at Becka's wink, and when she introduced herself as Nick's sister, Cassie's eyes widened. "Oh! That's why your name sounded familiar to me. Nice to finally meet you." She turned her attention to Bonnie, who gave a comment about Becka's hair, and when she changed it back, Cassie couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, c'mon Bonnie. The girl is just being expressive. My senior year in high school, I sported the purple-black hair." To show an example, she changed her hair to the color, turning around for a full view before turning her hair back to normal. "How long you expect to be in town, Becka?" Cassandra asked, curious.

Becka grinned when the other witch when she changed the colour of her hair. "Now, you I like," she said and looked towards Bonnie, who simply frowned a little. Becka gave her cousin a nudge before she turned her attention back to Cassie. "Only for a couple of days, then I'm off to New York, then we are flying to California after that. But I should be back for the wedding a couple of days before," she said and looked back at Bonnie with a smile. "I might have to visit Nick while I'm here or he'll just kill me," she said and looked rather thoughtful.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Carpe Noctum is the decendant of the old forum, Vampires Vs. Werewolves started by Kikyo in 2007. In 2010 we moved the forum from Proboards to vForums with success. Carpe Noctum is build over the old forum with new features and storyline attached to it.
