Wasn't this an interesting turn of events? Aine had been in a meeting with Art and Leona about their next best course of action in the ongoing war. Personally, this whole "working together" thing was getting on her nerves. The Celt was very close to screaming, "Screw you all!" and marching off to find Alistair herself. Before coming to Carpe Noctum, Aine was known for being a bitchy drama queen who always got her way, and didn't give a shit about anyone other than herself, (or at least, so it seemed). While that part of her personality had been subdued by the quaint, charming town, it hadn't completely vanished. Now that the end was in sight - or so she was desperately hoping, if the last will and testament she had left in her apartment was anything to go by - she was getting antsy and aggravated by any little thing. Truly, she just wanted this all to be over. The man who had plotted this entire event, the event itself, and life. It all just needed to stop. So you can imagine her enthusiasm when Leona's sister had come to the three of them, reporting issues with the witches. Immediately her senses went on high alert; her pupils widened and she suddenly took notice of every little smell around her. Despite Lea's attempts to see the issue through on her own, Aine wasn't taking any sort of "stay put" for an answer. The drive was nothing special, if not tedious. Her rapid mind bitterly thought, I can run faster than this. She drummed her fingers along the car door until they flew down an unfamiliar road. There! She could see it from the window: a strange storm, circulating in a single area. At the source, there were two women in the grass. One held the other and it wasn't until they were out of the car did Aine realize that it was Artemys's sister. In any other case, she wouldn't have given the human a second thought but given her connection to one of her only friends, the Head Lady felt a tinge of pain in her motionless heart. It was only momentarily, however, when she turned and caught site of what Leona was after. A slow grin crept across her face when the Lady identified the identical pair standing a little ways off; she had never met the Bodouar twins before, but they were certainly big fish in the grand scheme of things.
