They were almost to the bed when Leona's water broke, "Not good! Paloma needs to get here now." she said as she helped Leona to the bed. She was about to walk away to get more blankets but Leona grabbed ahold of her and told her not to leave. The look on her face was something she had never seen before, Leona looked frightened. "Shh....don't worry. I won't leave your side." she reassured her as she sat down on the bed beside her. Stroking her sisters hair, that was the only thing she could think of to do in the hopes of relaxing her sister. Lillian had no idea how to handle this situation, "Paloma will be here soon to figure things out." she said. Lillian sure did hope that Paloma would be there soon because she certainly could not do this on her own.

When Paloma got a call from Lilly about Leona going into labor it didn't take long for Paloma to gather her equipment, mainly because she had packed it several weeks ago. It was pretty common for women who expected twins to not go through the whole term, but this was still too soon. So she had brought heating boxes for the babies. When she arrived the chateau she asked the staff to carry what was in the car up to Leona's room. Then she hurried upstairs and entered the bedroom where she found Leona on the bed and with her sister next to her. "What is this? Lea didn't I tell you to take it easy," Paloma said and hurried over Leona, where she started to examine her. When someone knocked she simply said yes and soon after a couple of the maids and other staff entered with boxes with various things, bags as well. "Just put it over there," Paloma said, as soon they had left and closed the door she looked at Lilly. "I need you to be my midwife," she said got up from the bed and started to get everything ready. "It's going to okay, Lea," she said and padded Leona's arm and sent her a smile when she returned and started to prepare Leona for what was to come next. "Do you want anything for the pain?" she asked, she had an epidural ready for Leona if it was, but Leona shook her head. She placed a clean sheet under Leona before she turned her to the side and placed a pillow behind Leona. Then she looked over at Lilly. "There is a gown for you over there, just so your clothes doesn't get dirty," she said and stayed with Leona while Lilly did so.

Lillian left Leona's side for just a few seconds to put on the gown. She was glad to see Paloma had made it and she had brought everything that would be needed for the delivery. Returning to Leona's side she took her hand again, "What else do you need me to do Paloma?" she asked the doctor. Lillian wasn't much up for the midwife idea but if it would help then she would certainly do it. She was hoping that everything would go smoothly but it being an early delivery she wasn't to sure that things would. Giving Leona's hand a small squeeze she looked at Paloma awaiting an answer.

As soon Lilly returned started Paloma to prepare Leona for what was about to happen. She found a clean sheet and placed it over Leona lower part of the body. When Lilly asked what else she had to do, Paloma looked up from underneath the sheet. "As soon I've cleaned the babies as they come out, you put them in the their incubator, just to be on the safe side. Vampire babies are slightly different built when it comes to early delivery," Paloma said and turned her attention to what was going on under the sheet. "Leona I don't want you to push until I tell you to is that understood," Paloma said and looked up from the sheet again.

It was easy enough enough for Paloma to say not to push. Her face winched when she got another contraction, but all she let out was a heavy moan. The hand she didn't hold Lilly's with had moved to the headboard where she had taken a firm grab in. She was nervous, mostly because it was too soon, not so much over the giving birth part as she had done it before so she knew what to expect. When another contraction came she moaned and squeezed Lilly's hand as well as the headboard of the bed. Her thoughts suddenly went to Jake, if she hadn't let him drink from her, would she had been laying on her bed right now? She couldn't blame Jake it was her own choice, her own selfish choice.

It did take a little while before it was time, but the birth ended up taking a good hour when it first started. After she made made sure that the two newborn boys were well tugged in each of their incubators she finished up Leona, who pretty quickly feel asleep of pure exhaustion. Paloma walked over to the two small tiny guys, both of them sleeping safe and sound now, but when they first had said hello to the world they had let out a ear breaking scream. Until further notice they had to be monitored, so Paloma called for a nurse who could stay at the chateau.

Leona's twins were absolutely adorable and Lillian had carefully put them into their incubators. They had eventually calmed down and fallen asleep just like Leona had soon after the birth. Brushing her sister's hair gently out of her face Lillian smiled. Once the nurse had arrived to watch over the two babies Lilly removed her robe and left the room. She needed some fresh air after all that had happened. Passing by Jakes room she headed downstairs and out the back door. Taking a deep breath of the fresh air and sitting down on the steps, closing her eyes and just relaxing. She was glad that this was all over, welcoming new life into the world was a beautiful thing.

After everything had settled down with Jake, had Jack excused himself, he needed a smoke. He had really started smoking again or at least when he felt stress or tension coming over him. He headed for the back door while he started finding his pack of cigarettes and lighter out and when he opened the door he had put one between his lips ready to light it, but he noticed that someone was already sitting out there. He moved the cigarette from his lips. "Hey," he said, and closed the door after him. He lit the cigarette and took a deep inhale before he exhaled and leaned up against the wall on the top of the stairs. "Did everything go all right with the birth?" he asked, he had looked up from Jake when Lilly had suddenly burst in at said that Leona had gone into labor. He didn't really know the youngest Nóillión girl, in fact the only time he had seen her was when he had went to get Leona a couple of hours earlier, back then Leona was still big as a house and now there were two babies somewhere inside the house.

Jack put his smoke between his lips and took up his pack of cigarettes and gave one to Lilly as he took a seat next to her and lit the lighter and reached it towards her. As he inhaled before he took his cigarette out with the free hand. "I know, haven't smoked for over a year, but things have been a bit stressful lately. Must be the joggling of ALF, Gamma duties and trying to pass all my exams," he said as smoke came out of his mouth as he talked, he hadn't seen Lilly as a smoker. "Only my wife knows I smoke, if my sister finds out she will start lecturing," he said with a slight smile. He looked at her for a second before he asked. "How's Nora?" he asked, he didn't really ask for a particularly reason, he wondered if Lilly knew about the whole drama that had been between him and her niece.

"I tried these a while back and didn't like them.....things haven't changed one bit." she said after she took a drag from the cigarette. Looking at Jack when he asked about Nora she chuckled. "Oh....she is good. Training more than ever these days, all her focus goes towards her battle skills then school these days. I'm sure she will be thrilled to her her mom has finally given birth." she told him. "At first she was really upset with what happened between and I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see me spunky, happy go lucky niece again. But now she is back and better than ever" she added.

Jack nodded as he let the ashes from the tip fall to the ground before he took another inhale of the cigarette before exhaling out the smoke. "If I had known how things would end I would have done things differently. I liked her, I still do, not in that sense at least not any more," he said and turned his head and looked at Lilly. "I know Hex won't be to happy about it, but I hope Nora and I could become friends over time. She's cool and then she can give a pretty nasty right hook," he said with a slight smile, before he turned his head and looked out on the lawn as he took another wheeze of the cigarette.

Nora had just returned for the gym and had grabbed a bottle of cold blood from the fridge, putting some hotsauce in it before going to sit on the back patio to enjoy the outdoors. She was surprised to see her aunt and Jack out there though. Nora considered turning around and heading back inside but that would be rude besides Lillian had already noticed her. "Hey guys! What are ya'll doin?" she asked as she moved down the steps and sat beside Lilly. She sent her Aunt a smile and then looked at Jack. She still liked him but it wasn't the same kind of like anymore, it was more like as a friend, someone she could go to when she needed to talk.

Jack turned his head a little and looked up. For a second there was that suction emotion in his stomach when he saw her, but he was starting to think it was more the memory of what they had had together than he actually felt something for her. "We are very unhealthy," he said and took another wheeze on his cigarette and blew out the smoke. "Lilly says you need a spare partner," he said and looked at Nora on the other side of Lilly. It was like she was some sort of peace maker or something. Someone who made sure nothing bad happened, not that Jack had any desires of attacking Nora, he would never do that, well unless she wanted to of course.

Nora chuckled and nodded her head, then she reached over and took the cigarette from Lilly, putting it out on one of the steps. "Seriously Aunt Lill, you are not a smoker." she joked before looking back to Jack. "Yea I need a sparring partner. Good to see I'm talked about around here." the last part said sort of sarcastically. Standing up she pulled her hair out of the ponytail and shook out her blonde hair. "Just let me know when you are available and I will meet up with you so we can fight." she told him and she was about to leave it at that when she remembered something, "Your wife won't mind you being around an ex too much will she? Especially one who is liable to bruise your pretty face." she teased but there was nothing mean behind her words...just a friend teasing another.

Jack chuckled at Nora's remark about Hex. "Leave Hex to me," he said and took the last inhale of his cigarette before he put it out on the step below him. "If you want we can take a couple of rounds now, got nothing better to do. Leo and Alex are with Jake, if they need me they can call," he said and got up. He could use to get some aggressions out. Then he looked at Lilly with that mischievous and slightly flirtatious look in his eyes. "You are welcome too, I think I can manage two girls," he said, he knew he was walking on dangerous grounds here, but at least he hadn't lost his sense of humour.

Nora was always looking out for her and that brought a smile to her face. When Nora and Jack began to speak of fighting she stood up and brushed her hands off on her pants. When Jack said she could join she shook her head, "Thanks for the offer Jack but I don't fight. I think I'll just head inside...now you too don't get to messed up." she joked before heading up the steps and inside. Lillian went to one of the back rooms and sat near a window where the curtains were pulled back, giving her full view of the backyard so she could keep an eye on the two. She didn't want things to go to far and a real fight to occur. Opening a book as if she were reading it, occasionally looking out the window.

"A couple of rounds sounds great! I could certainly use a little fun." she said and then watched as Lillian went inside. Nora had a feeling that Lillian wouldn't have gone to far, for a non fighter Lillian sure was protective of her. "Try not to let me hurt you to much Jack." she said and stuck her tongue out at him as she moved onto the grass. Turning to face Jack with a smile on her face and a dark look in her eyes, taking a step forward "Bring on dog." Nora teased. Gesturing for him to come on as she crouched down slightly, ready to attack when he did. Nora hadn't had a good fight in a while so she was excited about this spar.

Jack smirked as he took the steps down. "Fine by me, bloodsucker," he said and grinned. Last time they had one of these sessions he had had a really good time. He just had to take a shower before he went home, or Hex would have a fit if she smelled Nora on him, cause there would be close encounter. He pulled in his arms a bit as if he was stretching out. Here they had more room which meant he could get some of his gymnastic movements incorporated. He bend over a little and rested his hands on his knees as he stared with a smirk on his face. Then he started running towards her, but shortly before impact he did a salto over her head and as he landed he swept his leg along the ground ans swiped off Nora's feet and placed a hand on her throat. "The game is on blondie," he said and got up and moved further out, so they would have even more ground to play on.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
