The trip back to the chateau didn't take long, he had asked Artemys to wait in one of the living rooms, while he carried Lilly to her room and placed her on the bed, gave her a kiss on the forehead before he quietly left the room and walked down stairs. When he entered the living room where Artemys was, he plumbed down into one of the couches and looked terribly lost. "If I had just eaten before I had left this morning, this would never have happened," he mumbled and hid his face in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees. "I've tried so hard not to feed from humans since that night," he said and looked up, his eyes moved to Artemys. He hadn't told anyone about that night. "If Leo or Lea finds out about this," he said, he knew what would happen, they would lock him away until he could behave or sending him out on some mission.

After Jake had told her to remain in one of the chateau’s living rooms for the meantime, Artemys took it upon herself to stand near the window taking in the scenery. She wasn’t sure what to think at that point. It was fine lying for him the first time she caught him in the act but it would certainly be harder for her if this continued to happen.. if… she continued to let this happen that is. A light headache was beginning to form from the stress she was feeling at that moment but she made no moves to appease it as she stayed by the window, arms crossed and a blank expression on her face.
Artemys heard Jake come back into the room and judging by the loud sudden creak noises, he sat himself on the couch but even so she didn’t make any sudden moves to face him just yet. After he expressed his regret to her for not feeding this morning, she sighed and turned around to look over at him instantly feeling sympathetic as she observed his fragile state. Just seeing him like that… she knew she couldn’t rat him out. But wouldn’t that be the right thing to do? To prevent him from hurting others as well as himself?
The seneschal continued to listen to Jake as he went to say how hard he tried not to feed on humans since the other night. When he trailed off after mentioning Leo or Leona finding out about what he did, she immediately walked over to the same couch he was sitting on and sat next to him. Carefully, she placed a hand on his shoulder and gave it a light squeeze before she removed it, gave him a small comforting smile and leaned her back against the couch averting her gaze elsewhere. "I know you’re trying. I can tell… but to be honest… I am a bit conflicted at the moment." Artemys truthfully said as she looked him in the eye for just a second before directing them away. "I hope you understand… but a part of me feels it’s the right thing to let someone know about what you did and then maybe you can get the help you need."
At this, she stood up from the couch and walked back to the window. As she looked up at the sky from the inside, she could tell that it was going to rain soon. "On the other hand, the other part of me feels that I should trust your word that you will be able to take care of this problem of yours." She paused for a moment, closing her eyes to take a deep breath before she turned around again to face Jake with a small light smile. "You’re lucky I’m not the snitching type." Artemys assured him with a small chuckle. "And besides, I did promise I wouldn’t tell anyone and I’m one to keep to my word." The smile turned into a thin line as she tilted her head with thoughtful expression. "However, I don’t think you’ll be able to keep yourself under control on your own. Perhaps there is some way I could help you with that?" She really did want to help him but how?

Jake listened quietly to Artemys, looking at her from time to time. He understood her perfectly, but he felt that if he could just get past this, then the others wouldn't find out. He didn't like people see this side of him and the fact that he let himself out like this in front of Artemys said a lot, but the fact was. He felt that he could talk to her for some reason, maybe it was because she wasn't a part of this family he had become a part of. "Look, I'll understand if you tell Lea or Leo, I just don't want to give them any more worries," he said and shook his head again and leaned back, resting his head on the back of the couch looking up at the ceiling.
"Lea had troubles with me when we first met, I couldn't control myself, my Sire hadn't been able to control me, so when he died it was like being free, no one to count on, but then I run into Leona. I don't know, maybe I had a bit of a crush on her at the time, she had never touched human blood at that time, she had from day one refused to live of another human," Jake said, he wasn't really sure why he told Artemys all this. "This time in many ways it's so much alike and yet it's not, maybe it's because I know what it can lead to if I give in completely," he said and turned his head and looked at Artemys, still resting his head on the back of the couch. "I don't really know what you can do though, I don't know, I've tried go cold turkey and only live on animal blood, but look how that went today," he said, before he moved his attention back to the ceiling. "I just know I don't want to hurt Lilly's feelings with all this, the fact that she caught me today. I bloody heck left my post. I've never done that before," he said and practically jumped up from the couch, but when he was up, he didn't know what to do with himself, so he simply fell back on to the couch. "If anything happened to Lilly, just looking at her black out when she took away my blood lust," he said. He was filled with guilt for what he had done, not only to the professor, but the fact that he had left Lilly unprotected just so he could feed, it was almost unbearable for him.

Artemys nodded her head when Jake told her he would understand if she spoke to Leo or Leona. She had already made up her mind though that she wasn’t going to do so unless for a very good reason. The seneschal remained silent and mindful the whole time when Jake was speaking out hidden feelings as well as things that were on his mind. It was surprising to the Twilight vampiress that he was being very open to her especially when he mentioned about possibly having a slight crush on Leona back when he first met her. It made her feel a little special in a way that someone had the need to come to her although she didn’t feel she could do much to help except listen and give whatever input she could.
As he continued on with his talking, Artemys slowly made her way over back to the couch and sat down. Her sight was mainly glued on the wall on the other side of the room although she did spare a few glances over at Jake but through it all, she still heeded his words as he spoke. When he came to talk about Lilly she could practically feel the agonizing pain that ate inside him as if it were happening to her. It startled her a little when Jake all of a sudden stood up only to see him fall right back down on the couch. This time she kept her eyes on him, and it made her feel somewhat sad as he told her about when Lilly made his blood lust go away.
When he was done for the meantime, there was a short silence since Artemys wasn’t all too sure what to say in that moment. She had already spoken what she needed to and if she expressed what was on her mind she would just be repeating herself. Having no words of advice neither comfort, she just did the one thing that she knew she could do. Moving herself closer to Jake, she embraced him into a hug resting her head on his shoulder. Unlike before, she remained in that position and merely kept silent feeling that that was the best thing to do.
It was raining already since the pitter-pattering of the rain could be heard quite clearly. Artemys found the sound soothing to her ears and relaxed her a little as she let out a little sigh. She felt that as of now, it was safe to say that Jake was a good friend of hers.

Lillian awoke in her room to the sound of rain outside. Getting up slowly she looked around, Jake wasn't anywhere to be seen. Moving to her mirror she looked at her reflection, her eyes were dark and as she looked at them she noticed they were dead. She couldn't see all the good things that used to be in her gaze, to her there was uncomprehensible darkness or sadness behind them. Closing her eyes for a second she embraced the silence of her room, seeming comforted by the rain outside. Changing into something move comfortable before deciding to venture out of her room, even if she didn't want to she had to talk to Jake. Lillian made her way downstairs and followed the sound of voices to the front livingroom. She was silent as she moved towards the door, freezing in place at the entrance when she saw the sight and heard the sigh. Seeing Jake embrace this woman caused Lilly to feel something she hadn't experienced before, jealousy. The two seemed close on the couch and it had Lillian both mad and jealous. She went to speak but nothing came out of her mouth, turning on her heels she stepped out of the doorway and into the hall by the front door, leaning against the wall and lcosing her eyes. Lillian didn't understand what was happening but she was not in the right state to be confronting them about it. Getting the sudden urge to just be alone she went to the library. Shutting the library door behind her with a loud bang on accident. Lillian grabbed a book and lay down on one of the couches, her eyes scanning the pages but she wasn't reading .

Jake didn't move until he heard a door slam, he moved away from Artemys and looked towards the door, but didn't move, it could have been anyone, he turned his head towards Artemys. "Thanks, I needed that," he said with a little smile. "And thanks for listening, it's nice to talk to someone who doesn't know me so well, see things from a different perspective I guess," Jake said, he took one of Artemys' hands and held it in his as he sent her a smile. "Well I guess I better go check on Lilly, thanks for helping me bringing her home," he said and her hand a slight squeeze. He wasn't sure what he would have done if she hadn't showed up when she did.

Artemys was startled by the sudden slamming of a door and turned her attention to where the sound came from. For some reason, she felt uneasy as she wondered who it could have been. She shrugged the feeling off after a few seconds and looked at Jake as he began to talk to her. A light blush tinted her cheeks when he took her hand and thanked her. It was more so because she wasn’t used to it. "It really is no problem and I’m glad I could help you as best as I could." The seneschal said with a small smile returning a light squeeze to his hand as well.
Seeing as she didn’t have her car, she decided that she would go over to the Twilight mansion for the mean time and just spend the night there. Of course… she would have to wait for the rain to let up. "If you don’t mind, I think I’ll stick around here for a bit longer until the rain lightens or disappears." Artemys said quietly as she looked over to the window noticing the heaviness of the rain before bringing her gaze back over to Jake and giving him a smile. "I might as well go speak with Leona while I’m here. I haven’t gotten the chance to talk to her in a while anyways. Think you can take me to her or at least point me in the right direction of where she could be?"

Jake nodded and got up from the couch and lead the way to Leona's study up on the second floor in another wing. He knocked once and popped his head in. "Hey Lea, do you have time? Artemys wants to see you," Jake said, and looked towards Leona who sat in an armchair with some papers in her laps. She simply nodded. Jake turned around and gave Artemys a smile. "Well thanks again," he said and this time it was him who gave her a hug and even a kiss on the cheek. "I'll probably see you around sometime," he said with a smile, before he headed back from where they had come not so long ago. He was going to check up on Lilly.
He had of course went to her room, knocking lightly on the door and peeked in, but when he saw she wasn't there, he wondered where on earth she could be. Of course he had an idea of a couple of places so he looked there, but it wasn't until he got to the library he found her. He opened the door and saw her reading in a book as he walked in. "There you are, I've been looking for you everywhere," he said and gave her a smile. "How are you feeling, you gave me quite the scare," he continued as he walked over to the couch where she was laying.

Lillian didn't look up when she heard someone enter the room she continued to just read her book. When Jake spoke she looked up at him for a brief second, he was completely different from the man he had been in Toms office. "You gave me quite a scare to." she said closing the book, there was a sharp edge to her voice. Lillian wasn't feeling much up for company anymore. Setting her book to the side she stood up and looked at Jake. "You certainly seem better now. I'm going to go outside now, I'll see you a little later." she told him laying a hand on his shoulder and looking into his eyes for a second. Then she remembered the rain and looked out a window, a sigh escaping her "Yeah outside." she added. Lillian didn't understand why she was in such a fowl mood, maybe it was her seeing Jake with that girl or maybe it was just from him exhausting her earlier. Brushing past him she headed out the library and then out the front door, sitting down on the wet front steps in the rain just staring at the sky.

Jake looked slightly confused after Lilly, she didn't seem her usual self. He might have stood there for a couple of seconds before he followed, grabbing one of the many umbrellas near the door and took one. He unfolded it when he got outside and took a seat next to Lilly. "Lilly is everything okay? You seem a bit .... off," Jake asked with a concerned voice. He held the umbrella over them so they wouldn't get too wet, he had turned a little so he better could look at her, he took one of her hands and let them rest in her hand. He was really worried now, this was so unlike Lilly.

Lillian looked at Jake when he asked if she was okay. Looking back out at her property she shook her head. "I never wanted to use my abilities on the ones I love, you gave me no choice today. Now this is the downside, I want company and I'm just so closed off to the me." she told him. "If l you wish to have a decent conversation go back to the woman you were hugging." she told him, there was some hostility in her voice and you could tell she was jealous. Letting go of Jakes hand she pushed the umbrella to the side and stood up, Lillian didn't care if she got wet the weather outside matched her mood and she wanted to be out in it.

Jake looked confused at first about the woman he hugged, then he remembered Artemys. "Who? Artemys? She's talking to Lea right now....She was so kind to help me get you home," Jake couldn't see why she was so worked up about him hugging Artemys. He moved the umbrella over Lilly again. "And who says I want to talk, but if you don't want me around I'll just go," he said and placed his free hand on her wet cheek. He wanted to put his arms around her right now, but for some reason the way she acted he wasn't sure if that would be such a good idea.

Lillian closed her eyes and leaned into his hand some. She wanted to hug him and give him a kiss, tell him he could stay by her side right now but she couldn't. Letting out a sigh she pulled back and looked at Jake "I need to be alone right now, I'm sure you understand. Can you return later tonight though?....Please." she asked. Not completely shutting him out but not really letting him in either. Lillian looked into his eyes a small smile appeared for just a few seconds before vanishing. Tugging on her tank shirt some she waited for his answer, hoping he would say yes to returning later.

Jake looked at Lilly for a moment before he answered. "Only if you take this," Jake said and reached her the umbrella he was holding. A slight smile spread on his lips. He had some things to do anyways, but he would rather stay with Lilly. Then he leaned forward and pressed a kiss against her forhead. "I love you and if you want to talk, you know where to find me," he said and gently stroke her cheek, letting her know that he was there when she needed it.

Her eyes started to fill with tears as she took the umbrella from him, it was hard to tell from the rain though. When he kissed her forehead and stroked her cheek she smiled, it was good to see this Jake and not the one she had to fight. When he went to leave her she took his hand then stepped closer and gave him a small gentle kiss on the lips. Turning from him she wiped her eyes then started to walk down the driveway with the umbrella shielding her from the rain. As she walked her mind wondered quickly through all the events of the day. It felt like a deep, dark void was opening up inside her. How could she possibly help Jake when she didn't understand what he was going through. She couldnt keep using her abilities to fight his hunger, it would just damage her more and more. Seeing him like that though was killing her inside. Wrapping an arm around her waist she started to cry, walking in the rain and trying to figure things out.

Jake looked after Lilly for a moment as she walked away, before he headed back inside. Jake suddenly felt like doing nothing, so he went up to his room and threw himself at the bed even though his clothes were damp and wet. He reached for the remote control and turned on the TV, but nothing good was on so he turned it off again. His mind kept circling around Lilly, he got up from his bed and walked over to the window and looked out, he took a seat in the windowsill and opened the window to get some of the fresh rainy air in, he leaned his head up against the window frame and closed his eyes as he listened to the rain falling. His thoughts running to Lilly.

Lillian was outside for at least two hours before returning to the chateau. When she returned she left the umbrella sitting by the front door and she went to the library. Lillian sat on the floor with a poem book, just reading it and getting lost in the words. When she grew bored she went to the kitchen and fixed her some hot tea before taking it up to her room so she could hangs into dry clothes. Lillian sat in her room jut staring out he window and brushing her hair for a few moments. Her hair now brushed free of tangles she grabbed her drink and walked to Jakes room, not even bothering to knock on the door as she walked into his room. Lillian went and sat down on his bed, taking a sip of her hot tea as she looked at him.

Jake had found a book he could read, but he was still sitting in the window, but when the door suddenly went up and Lilly stepped in he lowered his book. He looked at her for a moment. "How are you feeling?" Jake asked, he didn't make any intentions of moving, not sure if she wanted him to come closer or not. If it had been someone else who had stepped through the door without knocking he would have told the person off, but for some reason he couldn't do that to Lilly and especially not to day.

Lillian put her tea on the side table and fell back on the bed. "I'm a little better now, just a bit tired is all. I hope you don't mind me intruding like this. I just didn't much feel like being alone in my room." she said as she turned on her side and looked at Jake. She wasn't completely better, there was still a small part of her that wanted to be locked in a dark room alone. A small yawn escaped from her as she lay back on her back and closed her eyes. Pulling one of his pillows so it was under her head she tried to relax.

Jake jumped down the windowsill and walked over to the bed and lied down on his side, supporting his head with his hand as he gently touched the fabric on Lilly's tank shirt. Brushing a finger over the skin that could be seen between the sweat pants and the shirt. "I'm sorry about the professor, I hadn't fed all day and well I slipped," Jake said and looked at Lilly. He wanted to kiss her so bad right now, in fact he wanted to do a lot of things with her right now. He lowered his head and met her lips in a soft kiss at first, but it soon grew into something more, his hand soon moved up under her shirt. Again this was nothing like him at all, but the human blood simply changed his state of mind in general, he had a harder time seeing when to stop and when not. The way his kiss, the way his hand moved and the way his body moved against her body it was pretty clear what he was after.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
