Alyssa was already weak enough, but no, she had been bled out and dumped in the wilderness near a town called Carpe Noctum. The last words she had heard were, 'I hope you get eaten by a bear while your lifeless body hopelessly lays there, putrid woman, a waste of space you were..or rather, you still are.' Then she went into a deep sleep for an unknown amount of time before opening her eyes again. Alyssa felt numb, entirely numb, and when she attempted to move her abnormally pale body, she whimpered a bit due to the intense pain. She was finding it hard to breathe, and there was a spot of sun that shone right into her eyes. Alyssa's face would be green if it weren't for the dried blood and dirt smears. Everything hurt. Alyssa had been hoping that she would just die from blood loss, but apparently that wasn't enough to kill her quickly. The last sentence that she had heard kept repeating through her head. Had she really been just, thrown out? After all of that begging from that evil vampire guy, he just, moved on. It was the only thing that made the slightest bit of sense.

Leona had started to patrol earlier than she usually did. Ever since the Duboir twins had started to mess with her mind it had been hard to sleep and she didn't like that Javier used his ability on her to alter her dreams. She knew how it affected him. But the last week she hadn't felt anything and even though it was nice to not have someone roam around in your heads then knowing that they were out there it just unnerved her.
Leona had decided to take a round in wilderness. The forest had been fairly quiet so reaching the lake she followed it until she reached the out spring of the river and followed it. She had walked far before she noticed a figure lie by the river. Picking up the pace she was soon by the woman's side. Leona knelt down and placed a hand on the woman's forehead. She looked around as if to if anyone was around before she turned her attention back to the woman. "Can you hear me?" she asked as she looked down to the woman. Leona had to get the woman some blood, but she felt more secure of doing so back at the chateau.

Even though she had her eyes closed, she could only just sense that somebody had approached her. Then she heard the voice. She hated the fact that somebody had managed to find her, but at the same time, she was thankful. Taking a moment to respond, she slowly opened her eyes, having to squint from the brightness. Alyssa swallowed before opening her mouth and replying, "Yes." with the huskiest voice there could be. She couldn't help but let a tear roll down the side of her face. Alyssa might as well already be a carcass that had been sitting in the sun and starting to decay, because she certainly felt like she was wasting away.

Leona bit her lower lip as she thought what the best solution would be. She grabbed her cell phone and called Jake and asked him to come and pick her up by the bridge and after she had hung up she looked down to the woman. "Don't worry, you're safe now," she said as she kept her gaze on the fragile vampire. "Now let's see if we can't get you moved," she said and as careful as possible lifted the woman up in her arms and started to head towards the river bridge. Of course Leona could have started to roam around in the woman's brain to figure out what had happened, but the last thing the woman needed was someone picking her brain, especially in the state she was in.

Being lifted up off the ground, it hurt quite a bit, but not for long thankfully. Once she was being carried the pain pretty much faded. Alyssa wasn't even sure if she wanted to be saved, but she didn't have the energy to even think about that at the moment. All she could think about was how much she wasn't wanted any more, and how she was just chucked away. This was so hurtful, and she couldn't get it out of her head. All that time she had been locked up in that dark room of hers, she had thought that it would be amazing to get outside again, and here she was, but now it has turned out to not be so exciting as she had thought it would be. At least she was out of the direct sunlight now.

Reaching the bridge that went over the river, she could see Jake had already arrived. "Help me with her," she said and with Jake's help they got the woman into the back of the landrover. Leona took a seat in the back too and let Jake do the driving. "Don't worry you'll be in a comfortable bed soon and some food in you," Leona found her cell again and this time typed a message back to the chateau to have a large supply of human and animal blood. She knew that she needes something in the woman or she would never get better. Leona thought that maybe a mix of human and animal would do the trick. The human would make her get better while the animal would do the last work of getting her fed up.

Of course, she had no idea who these people were and where they were taking her, but apparently she was going to be laying in bed pretty soon. Alyssa also heard something about food. By food, she hoped that she didn't mean blood, because she hated it, regardless whether or not she needed it to stay alive. Since the woman was a vampire, Alyssa just guessed that she did mean blood. Maybe her cravings would cause her to give in and she would just have to drink the blood. In fact, she was going to have to do so any way, since there was no way that she could communicate properly or move anywhere that she needed to go without becoming healthy again.

There weren't conversed many words between Jake and Leona as he drove back to the chateau. Checking the mirror every now and again to see how the stranger was doing. He had only seen Leona look like that and that hadn't been a pretty sight. Reaching the chateau, he stopped the engine and headed for the back where he lifted the woman out of the car. "Where do you want her, Lea?" he asked as he started to climb the stairs up to the front door where the butler opened it so he could walk into the massive entrance hall. He figured that Leona probably wanted to put the woman in a room in the Lémón wing that way the Head Bellator would be close to the woman.

Leona followed Jake as he headed inside with the woman. "Bring her to the third floor in the Lémón wing," she said and faced the butler. "Do you have everything?" Leona asked the butler who nodded. "Yes Ma'am, everything is up in the guest room," the butler said and made a slight bow. Leona nodded and followed after Jake.
Reaching the room, she opened the door for Jake and watched him place the woman on the bed. "You can leave. Tell Jaja that I don't want to be disturbed," she said and Jake nodded before he left the room, closing the door after him. Leona looked into a cooling box and took a blood bag out. She mixed some animal and human blood in a cup and took a seat next to the woman and placed an arm behind the woman's neck and helped her up a little as Leona held the cup up to the woman's lips. "Drink up, it will make you feel better," she said.

When she was taken out of the car and brought inside and placed on a bed, once again, it was painful for a moment, but then it was okay. Then when her head was lifted up a bit and a cup with blood in it was lifted to her lips, she attempted to scoff, though, she failed and just tried looking down at the red substance. Alyssa didn't want it, but her body was telling her otherwise. Right now, she couldn't afford to just resist what this woman was doing for her, so she slowly decided to take sip, though she cringed before taking in a bit more. She then sniffled a bit. "I don't want to be a vampire.." Alyssa admitted with a very quiet and upset voice.

Leona looked to the woman when she heard what the stranger said. "I know, but you learn to live with it," she said and held the cup up to the woman's lips again so she could drink some more. "But just because you're a vampire, doesn't mean you're a bad person. It depends on the things you do," Leona said.
She herself didn't want to become a vampire, at least not the way that she did. Of course she had thought about it after she met Javier, but she wanted him to turn her, not Lestat. Right from the start she had defied her Sire, refusing to feed on human blood, it hadn't been easy, but the stubbornness she possessed had helped her through it.

She managed to shake her head. "No, you don't understand." She said, even though she wasn't sure whether or not those were the right words to use. "I've been a vampire for a long time.. And I still haven't gotten used to it. I hate it, I hate drinking blood." She admits, her voice becoming louder as she speaks. Then a few tears fell down her cheeks. All of this had been too much. Being kept in a dark room for 16 years, drinking the slightest bit of blood once a week, if that. And every time that stupid vampire guy Petruchio tried to coax her into loving him, she would refuse each and every time. She'd rather die that be with him.

Leona felt sorry for the woman, but she wasn't about to ask a lot of questions, instead she shushed a little as the woman raised her voice a little. "I know, it took me centuries before I came to terms with it," she said and now pressed the cup against the woman's lips. "Now drink, it will make you feel better. Then we can move over to strictly animal blood," Leona said, if the woman wouldn't feed then Leona would force it in her, one thing was for sure, the woman get any better if she didn't get some blood in her.
Hopefully when the woman had been stocked up on blood and got some sleep, it could be easier to talk to the woman. Who her Sire was, what had happened to her and most importantly who her name was. "I'm Leona by the way. What's yours?" she asked in a calm voice.

It made her feel ever so slightly better knowing that she wasn't the only one who had trouble for so long just dealing with the fact that they were a vampire. She had felt so alone with all this. When she was told to drink the blood, she knew she had to, she was just being stubborn. But right now, she decided to just drink it. With each sip becoming larger than the other, she soon finished the cup of blood, cringing once again at the after-taste. She looked up to the woman before letting out a sigh. "Alyssa." She says with droopy eyes. "Thank you, Leona."

Hearing the woman's name, she gave Alyssa a smile, when she looked up at her. It wasn't often Leona smiled, but when she did, she usually meant it. "Why don't you get some sleep, and then you can have some more blood when you wake up," she said as she put Alyssa's head back on her pillow and pulled the covers over her after she had placed the cup on the night stand. She took a seat on the edge of the bed and looked at the woman. Even though she was still looking rather transparent, then it wasn't as bad as when Leona had found her. But she knew that they had to take the blood in small steps. "Do you want me to stay, otherwise I can leave and give you a little bit of peace," she asked, as her eyes not once left the fragile woman.

It also made her feel better when Leona smiled at her, since she hadn't seen a smile for, a very long time, not a friendly one anyway. When she was asked if she wanted her to stay, she had to think for a moment. Alyssa didn't want to keep her from anything, nor did she want to be left alone. She didn't think that she would cope so well if she watched Leona leave the room, then again, she had gotten used to being alone constantly, but now that she wasn't, she would probably feel bad if she was left alone again. "O-only, if you don't have anything to do.." She said with grateful, yet still sad eyes.

She knew that little Liora was in safe hands with Javier and Jake would make sure that anything regard the bellators would be taken care of. It was no secret that over the last couple of years he had more and more turned into a substitute when she wasn't around. "Now why don't you try and get some sleep," he said and moved a chair closer to the bed and took a seat. Heck she just might try and catch an hour herself if she could. "I'll just sit here," she said, crossing one leg over the other and folded her hands neatly in her lap.

Alyssa only just smiled when Leona said that she was the boss around this place. She took her advice for getting some rest, she really needed it. Alyssa was aware that Leona had sat down in a chair nearby before she closed her eyes, and they would stay closed for quite some time.
Some large fraction of time had passed before she woke up with a bit of a yelp. Alyssa had experienced an extremely unpleasant dream, which of course, involved Petruchio. Sweat had built up on her forehead, and her eyes stung a bit from the sweat that had managed to make it's way into her eyes.

Leona had been napping a little, but woke up after a little while. So while Alyssa slept, she moved over to the window and glanced out between the curtains. When Alyssa finally woke up, it was starting to get dark outside. Leona moved back to the bed and took a seat on the edge. She grabbed a cloth and dipped it in some water before she started to wipe away the sweat from Alyssa's face. "How are you feeling?" she asked and looked concerned at the young vampire. Leona had had some time to think things through, would she have been like this if she had stayed with Lestat back then....Who knew, after all he had beaten her, the stuff he had done to her in those two years, she was just glad that Javier hadn't been around her while she had sat in the window and looked out. He would have know right away something had been wrong. She had tried so hard to push those years behind her, but now seeing this woman it was like all the bad memories returned.

Alyssa shivered a bit before looking up to Leona, who was wiping away a bit of the sweat on her forehead. "I feel a little ill.." She admitted with still tired and droopy eyes. Of course, Leona was a vampire, like herself, but Alyssa wanted to know why she was going to the effort to helping her. "Why are you looking after me so well?" She asked. "I don't even have a reason to live.." She adds on. Though, she did have a reason to live, it just didn't occur to her. Alyssa had no idea where her daughter was or what has happened for the past 16 years, and she wasn't thinking straight, because her daughter was very much still alive.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
