When it was clear that Bells was awarding the first strike to him, Marcello didn't hesitate. He moved forward quickly, initiating a leap to bring the man down on his level. His paws held him down by the torso as his teeth gently placed themselves around the supple flesh of the neck. Marcello paused briefly to flash an auburn glance in Bell's direction. Then, with a sharp, simple twist, he anchored his teeth in muscle and sinew, tearing it loose. The death spasm lasted only a second. With a gurgled sigh, the life expired under his feet. The wolf released his grip and stepped back. The act was done.
Marcello licked his lips and set the blond wolf with a firm, confident look. 'There.' He felt that he proved himself before her in the bath of blood, like a ritual of redemption, cleansing him of whatever shroud of cowardice had encumbered him before. Now they were equals; one reaper to another. He wanted her to take part in the feast now, to seal the deal. Normally he wasn't so sentimental over his meals. But something about this arena, the smell of blood, the intense look in another wolf's eyes, it intrigued him, ran through him, becoming an outlet for the electric energy that had shaken his nerves. Marcello bent his neck to take his portion. With a shake of his head, he extended the invite.

Even though it was over before it really started, then the female wolf was fascinated by the male. Not once had her gaze moved away from the dark wolf form. Before she was introduced to the greatest and most feared werewolf, she had been a weak version of a werewolf, but under Aya and especially Raker's guidance, she had turned into a complete killer, she had embraced her inner wolf.
When Marcello gestured her to join she padded closer, gave him a playful nodge before she dug in as well. When her sister turned her almost five years ago, she had hated what she had become, she had loved her mortal life despite everything, but the hate to everything and everyone had soon poisoned her, she got vengeful, especially towards her ex-boyfriend, sure the relationship with AJ had been based on drugs and alcohol, then she had truly fallen in love with him. A couple of days after AJ had married that witch of his and the wedding picture appeared in the local paper, she had just stared at it with an empty expression. Seeing the little girl with the happy couple made her think of the child she lost, AJ's child. The thoughts of what it would have been, a boy or a girl. That was when she realised, she was alone. She went from one guy to another, one more bad than the other, but what she really wanted was to come home to the same one.
As she stood there munching on the human, she knew that the wolf next to her wasn't her soul mate, just meaningless fun. Why couldn't she find the guy that was meant for her, but the fact was she had, she just refused to give in to those emotions, afraid that she would get hurt, that her heart was lying, but even now there was one guy who kept popping up in her head....Holden.

Marcello could tell something was off- he didn't need some fancy mind reading ability to sense it, it was written all over her face, pulling on her posture. Perhaps he was imagining it all. But there was a distinct difference in Bells now, as if all the heated energy she had carried with her earlier had faded. For some reason, this made him angry. He had persuaded himself into believing that killing someone would somehow brighten him in her eyes, make him more appealing, but it seemed to have an adverse affect. Did she prefer him to tear the corpse apart? To bathe the floor in blood like Raker had?
He watched her chew on a bit of flesh between her teeth, staining her blond fur. The feeling of mutuality wasn't there anymore. Marcello wasn't sure what was, or even why his mind was so fickle, changing back and forth like it did. It was something about her that did it to him. Even at the lake, despite their nightly engagement, he wasn't sure what exactly to make of her- why he even cared that he couldn't make sense of it. Oh, Hell. His mind was getting ahead of him. He wanted to talk.
"It's different down here." Marcello said, phasing back. He looked into the glassy eyes of their victim; never one to mangle the face, finding it somewhat revolting. He wasn't sure why he thought that. Then he was searching deep into the wolf's eyes, his own burning, intense from the kill. "It's good but... different. Back where I came from, this didn't exist. Caging people. And you," He was smiling now. "Never figured you to be a man killer- in this sense, anyway. You've got other secrets, I'm sure." Marcello felt hopelessly impulsive. Following a whim, he touched the velvet of her nose, making a solitary, red streak down the length of her muzzle. "So what can you tell me about all this? About you?" He whispered seductively. The wolf wanted to immerse himself in as many dark secrets as he could, wanted to get lost in them, in her, in everything.

AnnaBell lifted her head and looked at Marcello as he shifted. As he traced his finger over her muzzle a slight pleasant shiver went through her. Tilting her head a little as she observed him. Licking her muzzle, she did the same as he had done.
Back in her human form, she moved away from the dead body and Marcello, before she turned around and looked at him as if she was trying to figure him out. "Telling you anything right now, might not be the best idea," she said and looked around a little. "But we can always head back to my apartment," she said and moved back to Marcello. "At least my walls don't have ears," she whispered into his ear.
Truth be told, telling the guy anything, might not be the best idea, but this way, it would at least give her some time to think of a way to tell around it without actually revealing too much. She was not about to blow everything, just because of a sexy guy showing interest in her or what or who she was.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
