Sophia slowly made her way into the café, smiling to the woman behind the counter, recognising her from the last couple of times that she had been in here. This morning Sophia had felt quite well considering how much time she had been spending with her head over the toilet recently, this made her think that the morning sickness was finally coming to an end, but she knew that that wasn't the case, she had at least another couple of weeks of it still to go. Sophia liked this place, she liked being near the sea, and though it was still quite muggy outside, it seemed that Sophia had got here just in time, seeing that it had now started to rain. Taking a seat at a nearby table, Sophia was soon brought over her usual order of a glass of cloudy lemonade. Today Sophia had planned a meeting with the party planner Hayley Hastings, having found her number in the magazine. Her and Leo had pretty much decided on a date, meaning that they had two weeks to get everything sorted, and that was a lot, hence the reason for the meeting today.
Having mentioned that Sophia was going to be meeting up with Hayley to Leo, Sophia waited rather impatiently, tapping her fingers on the table. Miss Hastings wasn't late, Sophia had been quite early, finding that she had wanted to get out of the chateau today, having not really ventured far since she found out that she was pregnant. Sophia had told Leo that he didn't have to come if he was busy, sure Sophia would like him to make an appearance, but she knew that she would manage without him if need be.

A minute before the scheduled meeting she had, she entered the beach side café slightly clumpsy as she had a trouble with her umbrella, but she managed to get it shut down and got her whole body inside, part of it a bit wet. She let out a huff and shook a little as if she had been a wet dog. She straightened her hair a little before she looked around who was in café, when her eyes lingered on a red haired woman. She had only spoken to Sophia over the phone, so she didn't know how the woman would look like, but when she had heard the name Leo Nóillión she imagined that Sophia would be a vampire and since she was the only vampire in there, she took her shot that the red haired woman was the woman she was going to see. She walked over to the table with a big friendly smile. So far she had mainly planned weddings for werewolves and humans, no vampires, but she should have her first go at some point. Miss La Roux? I'm Hayley Hasting, we spoke over the phone, she said and reached the vampire her hand as she arrived to the table.

Sophia had been deep in her own thoughts and hadn't noticed the woman enter, so when she was spoken to, Sophia looked up and frowned a little before realising that this must be Hayley. Taking the woman's hand and shaking it a little, Sophia offered the werewolf a friendly smile. "Miss Hastings, please take a seat, can I get you a drink?" she asked, gesturing for Hayley to take a seat at the table. There was a lot for them to get through, and they had to get things underway today, otherwise there was no way that the wedding would go ahead in two weeks time. "I hope you work well under pressure, we only have two weeks to sort everything out." she explained smiling softly. Sure two weeks wasn't long at all, but Sophia had requested that her and Leo tie the knot before Sophia started to show, which would probably be soon.

Hayley placed the umbrella on the floor by her chair after she had taken a seat and opened her large bag where she took out a large folder that said wedding ideas on the front and placed it on the table along side with her calendar, pen and a notepad. When Sophia asked if she wanted something to drink it was as if a waitress had been waiting near by cause suddenly she stood by the table. Hayley looked up with a smile. Some ice tea please, she said and gave the waitress a smile. Two weeks is indeed not long, but I think we can manage, she said and gave Sophia a reassuring smile as she opened her notepad and her calendar. Saturday the second of July I presume. Well we better get the food settled first then, now do you have any specific plans in that department? And what about invitations, they need to go out pretty quickly, she said and grabbed a smaller file inside the folder that said invitations on it and placed it on the middle of the table along side with a file on various menu suggestions. Have you cleared it with the minister yet? If not I'll happily talk to him, I know for certain there aren't any other weddings that day, so he should be free, but I think he's going on holiday soon, so we have to book him quickly if it is, she said as she wrote Sophia and Leo's names on top of the notepad paper along with the word wedding.

Sophia smiled a little taking a sip of her drink, she hadn't thought of food or even talking to the minister, who of course would be an important part of the day, but hey that was what Hayley was for, she was that one that was meant to sort everything out. "If you could talk to the Minister that would be a great help, as for the food I haven't given that any thought, I'm not to big on eating at the moment, but something french would be perfect." she explained, placing her glass down on the table looking to Hayley with a warm smile. Sophia was sure that by the time of the wedding, her morning sickness would be more under control so she wouldn't have to run off to the toilet during the meal, but Sophia couldn't be certain. "As for the invitations, we don't have too many guests.. I have them written down here." she explained taking a piece of paper from her pocket, unfolding it and handing it to Hayley. That was the one thing that her and Leo had actually spoken about, who they wanted to invite, luckily most of Leo's family and Amelia would simply be told, considering that Leona, Jake and Amelia would all be involved in the ceremony.

Hayley wrote down on the note pad she had to contact the priest and the food preference would be French, she would have to see what she could suggest. And as Sophia handed the guest list, Hayley quickly looked it over and nodded. Well I took the liberty to do some research and have designed a special invitation for you, she said and opened the file and took out a invitation that showed a watermark of the Noillión's family crest. If you don't like it or have any changes then I'm open, but I liked the family crest so it would be a nice touch and with the golden letters and frame around, she said, the invitation was white, but she could make it in any colours. Have you thought in any colours for the wedding? she asked after she had handed the invitation to Sophia so she could have a look.

Sophia smiled softly and took the invitation in her hand, she hadn't even thought that they would have to design one, but it was true that the Nóillión Family crest looked good as a water mark. There were so many things going through Sophia's head at the moment, so when Hayley asked if Sophia had thought about any colours for the wedding, she looked up to the young wolf from the invitation, frowning Sophia had no idea what to say, no thinking that it probably would have been a good idea to demand that Leo be here. "Erm I really have no idea, I guess that purple would be the best... maybe you could do the invitations in that colour?" she asked looking back down to the mock up that she had still in her hand. Hayley wrote it down and then she looked thoughtful. Well then black and maroon callas, purple orchids, purple tulips, dark blue viburnum berries, tropical leaves and vinca vine loops for the bridal bouquet would fit perfectly along with the flower decorations, she said and wrote what she had just suggested down. What about music? Classical, modern, but for the actual wedding ceremony and afterwards? she asked and looked up from her note pad. She already had a larger plan over how the wedding would take out, of course she needed to actually visit the chateau where it would take place in order to plan the actual logistics, where should the ceremony take place and where should the reception be. Sophia listened as Hayley ran off a list of flowers, the callas being one that she hadn't heard of, though she had a vague idea of which it was. Nodding a little, Sophia was sure that it would look fine, she was just having a hard time picturing things. Then as she was asked about Music, a thoughtful look crossed Sophia's face. "Definitely classical though not opera.... I was thinking that the whole things could be done inside the chateau what with the weather being the way it is at the moment, oh and Leo definitely has to be in a tux, bow tie and everything." she said, leaning back in her chair a little, smiling softly. Though she hadn't had that much time to think about what she wanted for the wedding, she definitely wanted Leo in a tux, Sophia wanted him to look like James Bond, the very thought bringing a smile to her face.

Hayley scribbled everything down. If we are lucky with the weather, we should take the wedding photos outdoors. The light is so much better than indoor, she said. She had pretty much been preached that by her cousin, when she asked him for advice of wedding photos and where it was best to take them. Not that they couldn't be taken indoors, but sunlight was better than fake light. Okay, well I see that you're planning on inviting my cousin, Alex Bernstein, so I'll ask his brother's fiancée to take the wedding pictures, she's really good so that should work out nicely, Hayley said as she quickly looked over the guest list. I'll have a talk with the florist, get everything sorted. Maybe a quartet to play at the ceremony and maybe have them play during dinner and then have a band who can play some more dancing friendly tunes afterwards, Hayley said and looked over at Sophia. What about fire work as an end to the evening or is that too much? Hayley asked as she looked over at Sophia.

Sophia nodded when Hayley suggested a quartet to play, now thinking about it, thats what Sophia would have wanted had she have been planning this herself, and had had more time, though she was still uncertain whether or not they would get everything ready on time. "Fireworks would be a bit o much I think, I don't want anything to be too extravagant... only my dress." she explained smiling softly, leaning forwards her arms resting on the table. "Which I want sorted as soon as possible, as well as the bridesmaid dresses... there'll be two Leona Noillion and Amelia La Roux, and Jake will be Leo's best man, but you'd better get the suits sorted with them." she explained, Sophia had a vague idea of what she wanted her dress to look like, though she wanted to see some dresses for Lea and Amie before she made any kind of decision.

Hayley nodded, no fireworks. Well I can have a fitting ready for tomorrow. I've got a good contact to one of the bridal shops on the Avenue and they have some nice wedding gowns as well as bridesmaids dresses, she said and wrote that she had to call the owner. She looked over what she had scribbled down to see if she had missed anything. She would make the calls as soon she was done talking with Sophia. She raised a finger when she realised what she had forgotten. She found the folder and placed four images of wedding cakes. These are just examples, if you have any other thoughts then let me know and I think we can create something. Now as for what going inside the cake, I can come by the chateau with some samples you can taste, then I have have a look at the place while I'm there as well, maybe even talk to your cook, Hayley said, well she assumed they had one, rich people like the Nóillión's usually had a cook roaming in the kitchen.

And there was another thing that Sophia hadn't thought of, the cake though saying that its not like she had been thinking too much about food over the past few days. Tasters would probably be the best way forward, that way at least Leo could have his say in something, Sophia was pretty much dealing with everything. "I definitely like this one... though I'd like to ask Leo about it, he'll probably eat more of it." she explained pointing to the first cake, she liked the design detail on the cake. Scratching her head a little, there were things that she was trying to remember, at least a fitting had already been sorted, it was nice to see that this Hayley was very well organised, something that Sophia clearly wasn't at the moment. "Rénu would be more than happy to help, if you catch him on a good day, I'll try and stay out of the kitchen I always manage to break something when I'm in there." she said smiling a little, her and the cook at the chateau had a particular relationship, he didn't like her in the kitchen and she didn't like cooking, so it worked out pretty well really.

Hayley took the image of the cake Sophia had pointed at and put it in a special file that said La Roux/Nóillión Wedding on the front, alongside with the invitation that Hayley had created. Well I think I've got what I need to get started. I'll get everything in motion and then I'll give you a call regarding the dress fittings and maybe we should already set a day where I can come by the chateau as well, she said and grabbed her calendar. What about the day after tomorrow, then I have time to get the cake samples ready for you and Mr. Nóillión to taste, she said as she looked up from her calendar.

Sophia smiled noticing the folder that Hayley placed everything in, seeing it written down made it all seem a little bit more real in a way, considering all her and Leo had done was talk about who they wanted to invite, and when they actually wanted to get married. "I would say that tomorrow would be a no go, perhaps the day after, or even the day after that?" she explained in response to what she had said about her coming to the chateau. Of course Sophia had no plans for the next two weeks, though she wasn't sure if Leo would be that busy. Hayley wrote in her calendar. The day after tomorrow it is then. If there's anything give me a call, she said and reached Sophia a card with Hayley's number. Then Hayley gathered everything together. She had barely touched the ice tea the waitress had placed on the table for her, but now she took the time to take a sip. Any here and now questions you need to get answered? Hayley asked and looked over at Sophia with a smile. She knew she had pretty much taken over the meeting, mainly because she sensed that Sophia hadn't been that certain of what she wanted. So Hayley had pretty much taken over, suggesting things, just so they would get it all on the road. It was needed if she only had two weeks to arrange a perfect wedding.

Sophia smiled as she watched Hayley pack away her things, making a mental note to remind Leo that they would be testing cakes so he most definitely had to be there. Then as Hayley asked if there was anything that Sophia wanted to know, she shook her head. Of course it would probably be the case that as soon as she got back to the chateau, Sophia would think of something that she wanted to ask Hayley, but for now, Sophia could think of nothing. "I think you've pretty much covered everything for now, and thank you, I really wouldn't know where to start." she explained smiling softly, taking her glass in her hand, finishing off her drink.

Hayley nodded and gave Sophia a reassuring smile. Well that is my job to know where to start, she said with a smile as she put everything in her bag. She looked towards the window where the rain had cleared up a bit. Well I've got some phone calls to attend to, so I'll take off. Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.


New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
