As Leona said that the other down here was human, Hex sniffted the air briefly, her feral eyes searching for any signs of them. When the vampire's voice resonated in her head, she made a soft growling noise as if to say she understood, and thought that if she could project her thoughts, then she could probably hear them inside the wolf's head. So Hex nodded firmly, making a few more snuffly noises. *Okay... I'll only attack on your word.* Hex padded close behind Leona, and over to the stone table, seeing the candles there, and when Leona indicated it was a witch, Hex began sniffing around on the ground, trying to pick up a scent. Who could possibly know about this place?

Bethina pulled the small carriage after her as she moved down the narrow hallway. It's wheels squeaked loudly at least she thought so, but maybe it was because of the lack of room for the sound to fill. She huffed and puffed a little. After all it hadn't been easy to get things moved from one place to another, but she wanted to be able to sit down when she was in the cave, so she was now transporting an armchair no less on a carriage that children usually used. When she entered the cave, she didn't notice the wolf and vampire at first, mainly because of her poor eyesight. She was mumbling silently to herself as she came to a halt, stretching her back a little as she had walked slightly hunchbacked through the tunnel due to the low ceiling. Bethina was wearing an oversized raincoat even though it hadn't rained outside, but she had foreseen it would rain, so she had dressed sensible. Her orange turban had been switched out with a matching rain hat and she looked more like some alien from out of space in that outfit. She found her thick glasses and put them on, blinking her eyes a little as she focused on her surroundings. That was when her eyes fell on the wolf and vampire. Well she hadn't exactly looked at the vampire, cause she simply stared horrified at the wolf. "Good doggy," she said and raised her hand a little as if telling it not to attack.

As soon as she heard the faint squeaking noise, Hex felt her heartrate increase a little, and her hackles raised some, a slight growling noise echoing in her throat. She looked around to try and pinpoint where the boise was coming from, but the confines of the space allowed the sound to bounce off every wall, making it nearly impossible to find it's source. But when the human came closer, Hex let her eyes lock onto it. A woman. She had noticed her straight away and held up her hand as if to stop her from attacking. Hex wouldn't attack, like Leona said, but it didn't stop her from frightening the woman. Hex took a step or two closer and snarled, showing her fangs, as if asking what she was doing down here, hoping Leona would put her question into words this one could understand.

Bethina briefly turned her attention to the woman next to the wolf, but she pretty quickly turned her eyes back on the wolf again. "I....I.....don't know," she stuttered. Her brain couldn't function at the moment, so she didn't really know how to reply. Instead she backed away and hid behind the small carriage with the armchair on, peaking over the top. Bethina was afraid of dogs and wolves for that matter, not entirely sure why, but every time she was near one it was like she couldn't think and her body tensed as the blood rushed to her head.

Hearing Leona's voice in her head was still a bit odd, but when she saw the effect her growling was having on the witch, it made her chuckle a little on the inside. One of the perks of being a werewolf... When she felt Leona's hand on her head, Hex continued growling for a moment before snorting a little, only to back off. She stopped her growling and turned to slink behind Leona a little, siting on her haunches, her feral eyes still on the woman. She wasn't a threat but Hex didn't want to shift back just yet. Not when this woman was clearly afraid of her. It reminded her of her old life, where people used to be afraid of her wherever she went, and she felt a little of that spark inside her return. Hex lifted her head to look at Leona, almost as if asking her if this was alright, asking for a metaphorical pat on the head.

As Leona asked her again why she was there, having got no answers the first time, Hex licked idly at her muzzle. However, when the vampire whispered to turn, that the woman wouldn't give out many answers while she was so afraid, Hex chuckled to herself, and remaining sitting on her haunches, she shifted back to her human form. Standing, brushing herself down a little, she was now human, and folding her arms, she stood by Leona, with a lifted eyebrow raised to the witch. "There. This better?" She smirked a little, thinking that it may be better for the witch but it wasn't nearly as fun for Hex. Her eyes locked onto the witch, waiting for her to start spilling the beans as to why she was down there.

Bethina stayed slightly behind the chair, still looking a bit spooked at the human form of the werewolf now, but she relaxed just a little bit. She turned her attention back to the vampire. It was an odd sight for Bethina to see a vampire and werewolf standing next to each other. "I don't know why I'm here. I had a vision where I saw an entrance to a cave and I ended up here," she said, tilting her head a little and moved around the chair a little. "You are here to find answers to the scrolls," Bethina said and moved in a big circle around the two and headed over to the stone table carved into the wall.

Bethina turned around and looked at the vampire with a smile. "I know things, not in so many details," she said and looked at the werewolf. "You both seek the secrets these scrolls hold. You because you want to save your family," she said as she kept her eyes on the female werewolf before she turned her attention to Leona. "And you....," she said and tilted her head a little. "A vampire who actually cares about the werewolf race, even though you have all the reason not to," she said. Shaking her head a little, then turning around she grabbed one of the torches on the wall and moved towards a third tunnel that only she had been in, just before she disappeared she turned around and looked at them. "Are you coming?" she asked before she disappeared into the tunnel as she slightly hummed to herself.

Hex's eyebrows also lifted when the witchmentioned the scrolls, before throwing a quick glance to Leona, only to let her gaze settle on the witch once more. Hex had thought that only a limited number of people even knew about them. As the witch answered, mentioned that she wanted the answers to save her family, Hex's demeanour softened a little, became less hostile, before glancing to Leona when it was said that she cared about the werewolf race. Hex said nothing for the moment, watching as the witch grabbed a torch and began heading off. Hex looked back to Leona, more than a little unsure of all this, before smirking just a little. "Awww, I knew you loved me really, Leona..." After all, the witch had said Leona cared about the werewolf race. However, Hex did hesitate at following the woman, preferring if Leona went first.

She felt Leona's eyes like a laser beam, but annoying Leona was one of her guilty pleasures so it made her smile a little more. However, there was a difference in her intentions now. Now, they were simply playful, mischevious, something she hadn't been since Jack had moved out. It was the first time her mind had been taken off her husband since then, so she was trying to enjoy the moment while it lasted. She moved after Leona, looking around until they emerged into anotehr cave type room, and immediatly noticed the symbols covering the walls. Hex moved over to one of the walls and let her fingertip trace over a few of them. "What is this place? And what are all these?"

Bethina looked around the cave a little before she turned so she could look at the werewolf. "They are symbols showing certain bloodlines," she said and pointed to a fleur-de-lis. "This area is about your bloodline," she said and looked at Leona. "You are the great granddaughter of a French king, correct," Bethina asked and the vampire nodded. Then she looked at Hex. "Your bloodline is mentioned in here as well," she said and moved over to the wall opposite of where the werewolf stood and pointed at a symbol that showed a bow and arrow. "Dark magic....It is said that when the son of Aya was stripped from his magical powers it was to prevent dark magic to take over. Of course that doesn't help much when you don't deal with the father of the son as well," Bethina said. Then she started to move around the cave. "The moon symbolises the bloodline Aya created after she was turned. The Moon tribe," she explained. You could say this cave is filled with prophecies. Then she looked up at the ceiling where three symbols were drawn. "The first ones," she explained and pointed towards what looked like a blood handprint. "The very first vampire," she said. Then she pointed at what looked like a woman of some sort. "Oya, the most powerful witch that's ever lived and who created the very first vampire and werewolf," she said before she pointed at the last drawing a wolf head howling. "And finally Aya, the very first werewolf," she explained.

Hex couldn't help but lift an eyebrow when it was mentioned that Leona was the descendant of royalty but her interest peaked once more when her own bloodline was mentioned. She immediatly headed over to the witch to see the symbols, staring at them, flinching just a little when she mentioned the Moon Tribe. Her eyes scanned over the various symbols, referencing the various people, and she felt her blood boil just a little when Aya was mentioned. "So the key players are all here... Aya and her kin, you, Leona, Oya, Jack's tribe... I still don't get what all of these symbols are doing on these walls... And what they all mean." Her eyes looked to the witch. "But I'm guessing you know..."

Bethina looked looked at the werewolf with a slight surprised expression on her face. "I don't know what they mean, no one does. At least not anyone alive. I'm just telling you what I've seen," she said and touched one of the symbols. "These symbols were made long before the Native Americans came to the country from Asia, by witches and warlocks," she said, shaking her head a little. "You probably wonder how they could get here, well some of the could teleport and then there were the clairvoyants. Those who could foresee the future," she said and moved so she stood between the symbols that belonged the werewolf's bloodline and then the Moon tribe. "These two are connected. Look a grey wolf and a black wolf and underneath four wolves. The union of two bloodlines," she said and pointed at four small wolves. Then she moved up the wall a little. "Aya turns human," she said and pointed at a symbol resembling the one on the ceiling and a symbol that looked like half man and half wolf. "The only way to do is to turn someone in the human bloodline," she said and then she looked towards the ceiling at the wolf up there and followed the line that lead to another part of the cave walls. She moved over there. "Aya is the superior of all werewolves. She can master all abilities known to man, she can look like me, talk like me, make you think she's me. She can control you if she wants to, you won't be able to act on your own accord if she so wishes. We are all just her puppets, she knows everything if she wants to, she can read our thoughts if she wants to, she can enter your dreams. You could say she's the goddess of all werewolves," she said. Then she pointed at some symbols. "Half man half wolf. The man she's turned. Woman with a wand, a witch on her side. And a yellow wolf. A man with a wand, a warlock. People who are sent here to do her bidding," she explained and pointed at the different symbols or drawings if you must. "The witch is linked not only to Aya, but to a drawing on the Rose Alliance wall," she said and pointed in yet another direction and moved over where a rose was spotted and showed the same drawing of a witch with a wand. "Everything in here is connected with each other. You two are entwined within the same story and if you want to beat them you will have to trust each other, help each other," Bethina explained and looked at the two women.

Hex let her eyes move over the symbols that the witch spoke of, and when the woman mentioned the grey and black wolf, instantly she felt her heart rate pick up a little. That had to be her and Jack. Her eyes focused on the image and she reached out to let her fingertips brush over them, as if she didn't believe they were there. Someone so many years ago had forseen this, had forseen the joining of Aya's bloodlines. And then her eyes moved to the four smaller wolves. Their pups. Tobias and Jewel, and two more... "Jack... me... our pups..." But before she could focus too much on that, the witch spoke of Aya and Hex followed close behind her like an obedient puppy. Hearing someone else talk ot her powers, this Aya, it sounded hopeless to try and go against her. But then, as the witch spoke of those sent to help her, to do Aya's bidding, she felt her skin tingle a little once more, her fingertips brushing these symbols, too. "That one could be John, my father... And that one... The yellow wolf...Bells..." This was like a nightmare, seeing these images before her. She wasn't sure who the humans with wands could be, but it proved that Aya had a whole team on her side. Magical ones. Her gaze shifted quickly, however, when the woman said that both her and Leona were entwined in the same story and that they would have to work together. Her eyes fell on Leona, and she snorted some, skeptical that they would be able to without either beating each other down or annoying each other to death. "Are you serious? Work with her? I have a hard enough time being civil to her, let alone actually being nice... Plus, Leona doesn't trust me as far as she could throw me..."
