Eve had been walking around Carpe Noctum, not sure where to go now. She knows she should be here, but she doesn't know what she should do. She came across a zoo, and snuck in with a group of school kids to go see the animals. Well, not see see them, but you get the idea. Her favorite was the petting zoo, where she actually got to pet the animals, whether than use her ability to 'see' the caged ones in the distance. She was honestly having fun, but she was sure to keep to herself, so not to raise suspicion.
"Hey look, this girl doesn't know how to dress herself up," someone said behind her. Eve didn't say anything, but kept walking. "What, don't wanna talk?" Someone grabbed her shoulder and spun her around. "Dang, what's wrong with her eyes?" "Is she blind or something?" There was a pause, and Eve 'saw' a hand be waved in front of her. "Where's your mom and dad? They abandoned you?" Eve huffed and said, "Leave me alone." Then some kids laughed. "Or what?" She then felt herself pushed and she fell to the ground. She was fighting any tears, so they wouldn't pick on her anymore. If she just remained still and quiet, they'll get bored and leave her alone...

Reina felt like visiting the zoo today. No reason in particular. She was hoping Lucian Jr. would accompany her but being the lazy bum he was stayed home instead. Oh well…. And then she didn’t really feel like bringing a parent or an aunt so she was just fine on her own… Plus she highly doubted any of them would go with her anyways… what with the drama that’s been happening recently. A heavy sigh escaped her as she just meandered about not necessarily pining towards a certain animal. Although as she strode by the lion cages then she couldn’t help but notice a young girl being bullied by some other kids. Oh boy… This was not something Reina was going to tolerate. Taking steady steps then she approached the group with a deadly look on her features. "Or else I’ll knock out all your baby teeth right now and maybe then you’ll grow up." She threatened as she stood in front of the girl. "Otherwise I’m sure the lions are pretty hungry at the moment for mean kiddies…"

Eve remained silent when someone showed up and threatened the other kids, just letting the girl take care of the issue. But it wasn't long before the other kids ran off, and she was alone with the person who came up. "Thanks," she said in a quiet tone. She doesn't really talk much around new people, but she was appreciative of what the person did for her. She slowly stood back up and didn't bother brushing any dirt off of her, since she really can't see it. Her eyes seemed to be staring off to the distance, while she said, "So... Why did you come help me?" she asked. Some people usually just keep to themselves.

Reina put on a smug look when the kids ran off and then she couldn’t help but humor herself but waving a little farewell to them before chuckling. The voice was quiet but she heard the young girl’s ‘thank you’ so that the she wolf turned her attention to said girl now. She quirked a brow wondering why the girl was talking to her yet not looking until she realized the reason. A little smile curved her lips even though the girl couldn’t see it. "Do I need a reason to? When trouble’s a brew there’s no way Reina LaCroix is gonna stand by and watch." She smirked before looking concerned. "Eh… Lemme help dust you off there." She offered noticing the dirt on the girl and in seconds then she was done brushing the girl free from the dirt. "There. All clean…. You alright by the way?"

Eve didn't move as the girl came over and helped wipe off dirt off her clothes. "Thank you," she said again, a little louder this time. "I'm okay. I was just looking at the animals when those kids stopped by. I'll be okay though." She gave a smile before starting to walk off. She didn't want to explain or worry the girl with the fact that she was by herself. If she left, the girl would eventually just forget about her, most likely. That's what's it's been for her on her travels. She walked up to where the lions were and pretended to be looking at them, while she contemplated on where she should head to next soon.

Reina looked at the girl a bit oddly to what she said about the ‘looking’ at animals bit but not wanting to be rude then she didn’t say anything about it. Heaving a sigh she didn’t follow after the girl right away letting her violet and blue eyes look around her surroundings momentarily before she finally decided to go after the young girl. "Hey! It’s usually common curtesy to exchange names ya know…. Mind if I know yours?" She said in a voice that was almost teasing yet the tone of politeness could be heard in it as well. Carefully she went to stand beside the girl looking at the lions and then taking a glance at the girl now and then waiting for her answer. She liked this girl for some reason and wanted to get to know her better.

Eve couldn't help but let out a giggle. "Okay, I like Evee," she said, smiling. When Reina asked if she could join her walking around the zoo, Eve shrugged. "No, I'm not waiting for anyone," she answered. It was true, but she felt a little deceptive about it. She wasn't waiting for anyone, cause she doesn't know anybody here. Of course, if she stayed around the girl today, then she'll definitely go unnoticed by others. "Besides, I think I might need help knowing what some of these animals look like," Eve added. She figured the girl had to of known she was blind by now.

Eve thought about what Reina suggested. "Seals sound good. They're the one that swim and sound like dogs, right?" she asked. Eve started walking off down the ways, keeping close to Reina. "So how long have you been in this town?" she asked, curious. "Were you born here?" If anyone knew Carpe Noctum better, it would be the ones who have been here all their lives. She moved her head around, using her ability to try and 'see' her surroundings. There weren't as much people here as she thought there would be. Of course, it is a school day, so maybe that was why. Reina nodded to Eve when she mentioned about the seals. Even though she knew the girl couldn’t see then she still couldn’t help but make the gestures. "Yup yup… They’re a bit on the chubby side and I would say if one stood next to you then it’d prob be around your height…" Her eyes were wandering about looking for said seals when Eve asked her some questions. "Born and raised in good ol’ Carpe Noctum. Proud to say so as well." She grinned that is until it faded a bit when the girl asked if she should be in school. "Eh-hem…. Right.. about that…." Looking around to make sure no one she knew was about then she went to cover her mouth so that she could whisper into Eve’s ear. "Let’s kinda keep this our little secret m’kay? I sorrrta have to be in school to tell you the truth…" She chuckled a little sheepishly before pulling away from Eve and continuing their walk. "But then again I kind of have a lot on my mind. So I figured I’d avoid the place today seeing as I wouldn’t be concentrating anyways." On the other hand she was so dead when she was caught but she wasn’t really that worried to be honest. Eve gave a small smile. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." She put her finger on her lips, something ehr mom told her was a sign for secrets. "But you know, secrets aren't good to keep from family. You'll only end up in bigger trouble than you are already." Of course, Eve doesn't have much place to say much. She's never skipped school before because she was always home-schooled. Only way to skip school would be to run away, and she's never wanted to do that. Well, not on her own choice, at least.
Eve heard something that sounded like barking and ran towards the sound. "Is this where they're at?" she asked, holding onto the fence railing. She wished she could get closer, or even pet one, but she knew that could never happen. "What are they doing?" she asked Reina. Her ability lets her be aware of her environment and its inhabitants, even 'see' basic outlines of things, but details like colors and patterns are impossible. And it's difficult when things are moving fast or they're far away.

Reina let out a sigh of relief when Eve said she wouldn’t tell anyone although she did have to chuckle when she said she would get into even more trouble. "Eh no worries. If I get caught then I’ll take the consequences as they come. Not getting in trouble would be awesome but hey, even if I do then I just gotta suck it up and accept what they give me." That’s what her opinion was anyways. She figured as long as you know there’s punishment coming for your troubles and you’re willing to accept them then why not break the rules once in awhile?
It was then that they finally came across the seals. "Yep yep. That’s them alright." She laughed as she leaned onto the railing and looked down at the seals. "Swimming around mostly although one of em is off on his own and playing with a ball. What a show off." She said with a smile and would now and then describe in full detail as to what the seals were doing. Either twirling and twirling themselves and diving fast into the water or she would describe what that seal with the ball was doing either balancing the ball on his nose or trying to bounce it up and down.

Eve smiled and listened as Reina described what the seals were doing. It was nice to have someone around, describing everything to her. She's been so used to just being by herself, getting away with only the basics, she forgot how awesome the world around her could be. Even before she left home, her world was getting darker with the wars. Her parents started to leave out what the world looked like, as if to protect her. Eve could feel tears brimming in her eyes, from thinking of her family, and she quickly wiped them away. "What else is there to see?" she asked, turning her head towards Reina, although her eyes weren't focused on the teen. Right now, she was having fun at a zoo. No need to bum out her time, right?

Reina kept on with the depicting with light chuckles in between and it was only when she heard Eve ask what else there was to see that she made to look at the girl. She noticed she was looking away from her and wondered if she said something for her to do so. The she wolf figured not to question though seeing as doing so would just darken the mood. "Well there’s lots… Hmmm…. Oh! I’m sure there’s some place around here that has a petting zoo. Would you like that then?" She smiled widely. At least doing so would give her some interaction with the animals. Before Eve answered her question though then she was already dragging the girl off in the direction of where she thought said petting zoo was.

Before Eve could answer the girl, she felt herself getting pulled anyways. Eve couldn't help but giggle at Reina's actions. She was honestly having a good time. Not something she's been able to do in a long time. It wasn't long before they made it to the petting zoo, and she grinned widely. She walked into the gated area and was soon greeted by goats and sheep. "Hey cuties," she said, petting each and everyone. Although most petting zoo animals are just looking for food, you could tell the animals were really liking Eve. She hugged and petted every single one, loving them like they were each her own pet. "Man, I wish I could have a zoo," she said, smiling. "I love animals."

Reina kept herself near the fence of the petting zoo and merely kept an eye on Eve as she was petting the animals. It was nice to see the girl having a nice time and she had to say it was making her feel good that she was able to help out even though she hardly knew the girl…. Then again for some reason she felt them already close… She herself was being greeted by some now and then and would take the time to pet them or feed them. A chuckle escaped her when she heard what Eve said about wishing for a zoo. Before the wolf girl could comment on that then she spotted some bunnies nearby. "Awwww!!!! Soooo cuuuute!!" She squealed as she went over to them, gently picked one up and then began to pet it.

Eve turned her head towards Reina's direction and asked eagerly, "What is, what is?" She walked up to where Reina was and reached out. She let out a gasp when she recognized the soft fur. "Bunnies!!!!" she squeeked. She reached into the cage and picked one up, stroking it gently. As she did though, she noticed it let out tiny-like whimpers when she stroked near its leg. Eve let out a gasp. "Are you hurt?" she asked it. She turned around so that no one could see her, then she held her hand over its leg, healing it of whatever injury it had. Eve can't stand injured animals. "There, all better," she whispered, before turning back around.

Reina was busying cuddling the bunny when Eve approached her. Before she could answer the girl’s question then she laughed when she heard her typically squeal out when it came to her attention that it was bunnies. The wolf girl then just continued to pet the bunny in her hold as she observed what Eve was doing and it surprised her a little when she witnessed the girl heal the injury on the bunny that she was holding. "Oh… so you’re a witch then? Or perhaps just special." She smiled in a soft tone not wanting anyone else to hear her. When it came to magic then Reina knew about it mainly because of her aunt Reira. She would love watching her lessons with auntie Celia and uncle Sumdyl. Sure she figured the magic gene was in her as well but obviously it wasn’t a part of her… That didn’t mean it wouldn’t pass to her kids if she ever decided to have any that is. "Don’t worry… I won’t tell anyone… My aunt Reira’s a witch too ya know."

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
