At first Sophia just drove around a little, more so that Louis would fall asleep, and also so that she could come to terms with what she had done. With tears still streaming down her cheeks, Sophia had no idea where she was going to go, sure she could go to the Bradford, but she didn't really want to. Instead she turned down the drive to Art's place, hoping to find that the Head Lady was in, and that she would let Sophia stay a litte while. Parking her sports car in front of the door, Sophia sat for a while, before moving. Getting out of the car, Sophia grabbed her back, and unclipped Louis' car seat, walking up the steps to the front door, taking an unneeded breath before knocking hard on the door. What had she done? Sophia couldn't believe that she had actually left Leo, but she had had good reason. Waiting for the door to be opened, Sophia tried to control her tears, but there was no use, she was devastated.
Artemys was passing by the foyer just as the sounds of knocking echoed from the door. Sleep was still avoiding her even after Lenard visited her at the castle but she had to say the headaches were going away. Insomnia was basically her reason for wandering the quiet floors of the manor at this time of night. However, she wandered very curiously why anyone would drop by at this godforsaken hour. Nevertheless, she approached the door slowly and when she opened she was surprised to see Sophia and Louis… along with a bag as if she was going to stay the night. Right now it seemed that’s what was going to happen but why? She assumed something bad had happened seeing as the woman was on the verge of tears. "Sophia? Are you alright? What happened?" She asked. Before she let the older vampiress answer she remembered that she wasn’t going to be able to enter inside without Reira’s invite. "Wait one moment please." She said as she ran off to practically drag her grumpy sister out of bed and back to the foyer. After explaining all she had to do was invite Sophia in, Reira did so before teleporting herself back to her room. Artemys simply shook her head at the spot her sister disappeared before looking back to Sophia with a concerned expression. "Please come in." She gestured and once she got inside, the Lady closed the door and took hold of the bag for the woman as she led her into the living room.

Sophia was so glad when Artemys opened the door, however when she disappeared Sophia couldn't help but frown a little, looking down to the still sleeping Louis. As soon as Artemys returned with someone who Sophia assumed was her sister who subsequently invited her in, Sophia tried to keep herself from crying as Artemys invited her into one of the living rooms. "I'm sorry to bother you at such a late hour...I had no one else to turn to...I've ruined everything." she explained through her sobs, still trying not to get hysterical. "I have been having issues with getting back onto the animal blood, Leona found me trying to sneak some human blood, me and her got into a fight, Leo came in and stopped us, he changed my emotions but took on the blood cravings... I've never seen him look at me the way that he did, like I was nothing... I tried to stop him from going after one of the maids, he h-hit me.... I just needed to get away for the night, get my head straight... I didn't have anywhere else to go." she explained looking down to the floor, still holding onto Louis' car seat.
Artemys placed the bag down near the couch as she listened quietly Sophia as she talked. She felt sorry for the woman and would do anything to help her out. "I am sorry for what happened… All that must have been very hard for you… Please stay as long as you need to, there’s plenty of room here." She said with a small smile as she picked up the bag again and escorted her to one of the many vacant bedrooms, more specifically one upstairs that was close by her room. Artemys opened the door and led Sophia inside the room; the bag was dropped near the bedside. "My room is close by in case you should need anything." She explained to the woman as she turned to face her. "Can I get you something? I probably won’t be getting any sleep soon so I could keep you company for the time being if you want."

Sophia followed Artemys to the room, she was entirely grateful for Artemys, placing the car seat down on the floor close to the bed, Sophia looked up to the Head Lady, her eyes blotchy from crying. As Artemys asked if there was anything that she got get her, Sophia shook her head a little. "I just need to sleep I think... I just need to get my head down then I'll book a flight to Paris in the morning...thank you for letting me stay, it means a lot to me." she explained looking to Artemys with a sad smile. Of course Sophia hadn't made her mind up on whether or not she would actually fly back to Paris or not, it was just that it was far away from here. "Could you get a message to Lucie... she lives at the chateau now... I need her to know that, I love her.... oh god, what have I done?"
Artemys stared a little wide-eyed at what Sophia said. "It really is no problem… but are you quite sure it is wise if you do that? At least take the time to think about it rather than rushing…. By all means you can stay here as much as you need to do so." She suggested with a concerned tone. And when she mentioned Luciele and then questioned herself on what she had done, the Head Lady simply stared at her momentarily before approaching the woman to give her a hug. " I doubt Luciele will take lightly to the news. She sought out for you, remember? You can’t take back what’s already been done but you can stop yourself from disappearing from your daughter’s life when she only just found you. If not for Leo or anything else then think of your children."

Sophia all but collapsed into Artemys as the Head Lady hugged her. Everything was starting to sink into Sophia, what had happened and what she had done, and quite frankly she couldn't cope with it, who was she to break up a family? How could she do this to Luciele, who as Art had said, had only just found her mother. Gripping on tight to Artemys, Sophia suddenly felt very tired, it was like she had been on a three hour run or something. "I think I should sleep a little before Louis wakes up again.... thank you again." she explained pulling away from Artemys slowly, finding that since she hadn't eaten recently, she was feeling weak. Moving to the bed, Sophia slowly sat down, hugging her arms around herself, staring down to Louis as he slept. Even though he was sleeping, Sophia knew that he was aware that something wasn't right.
Artemys looked thoughtfully at Sophia when she pulled back from their hug and sent her a little smile. "You are very welcome." She then watched as the woman made her way over to the bed and hug herself. "Would you like something to eat? You look famished if you don’t mind my saying." The Lady said as she moved over to the bed as well and proceeded to sit next to the other vampiress. Her eyes lingered over to Louis who was sound asleep. "Even though I have not been around him for very long, I will miss Louis terribly if you decide to go to Paris… and of course you as well. I would think at this point we could call each other a friend." Artemys said with a hopeful smile.

Sophia looked to Artemys when she said that she looked famished, smiling a little, the first smile in a while, Sophia looked thoughtful for a moment, she knew that she should eat something. "I don't suppose you have any Doe's blood... I need to drink plenty so that I can feed Louis, he seems to be wanting more food than I can produce." she explained trying not to bring up the subject of Paris. Of course Sophia knew that it would be stupid to leave the town, but maybe she just needed that little bit more space, more time on her own to think, the only problem was, is that Sophia already knew what she was going to do, there was no way that she would leave Leo, even now she was struggling with the fact that she would be sleeping alone tonight, maybe she should have been more attentive to him.
Artemys nodded at Sophia’s request before moving to get up. "I’ll fetch you it right now." She said with a smile before heading towards the door. As she did so, she wondered if she should inform Leo or perhaps Leona about Sophia’s whereabouts. "Shall I phone your husband or maybe Leona that you will be staying here for the time being?" The Head Lady asked as she partially turned around to look at the woman. She’d think that despite what happened that they’d still want to know where she was or in case they were out looking for her at this late hour.

Sophia looked up to the Head Lady when she asked if Sophia wanted her to get in touch with anyone letting them no that she was here. Frowning a little and turning her attention back down to the still sleeping Louis, Sophia knew that she didn't want Leo to know, which hurt her a lot even thinking like that, though she was sure that Leona wouldn't care where Sophia was, but it wasn't like she had anyone else. "Not that she'll care, but could you tell Leona and could you tell her that I'm sorry?" she asked looking desperately to Artemys. Sure Sophia would apologise to Leona face to face, but the fact that she had caused quite a lot of problems, and Leona had beaten her up, Sophia thought that it would be best to let things settle down for a little while.
Artemys sent a little nod to Sophia before departing the room and closing the door behind her. On her way down to the kitchen she decided to give Leona a call as she prepared the blood for Sophia. The Head Lady was explaining how she wasn’t sure when the seneschal would be going back home just as she was making her way back upstairs with a mug of doe blood in hand. A sigh escaped her as well when the Head Bellator on the other line told her that she would be going to retrieve Sophia if she didn’t get herself home already. Since when did she get in the middle of this mess? "I’ll see what I can do… please hold on a second…" She said quietly as she hit the ‘hold’ button before making her way into the room and towards Sophia. "Leona wants you back home already… otherwise she’ll be coming to get you…" Artemys explained to the woman in a quiet voice as she handed the mug over to her.

Sophia looked up to Artemys when she came back into the room, then hearing what Leona was going to do, she almost didn't take a hold of the mug when it was handed to her. Looking down into the mug, Sophia knew that she didn't want to go back, not yet, but nor did she want to go through the humiliation of her sister in law dragging her home. "I just wanted some time....please, I don't want her to come and get me, you said that I could stay here, please." she said, fresh tears appearing in her eyes, looking up to Artemys with a begging expression on her face. Sophia just wanted to sleep at that moment in time, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to without Leo's arms around her. Slowly taking a sip of the blood to calm her slightly, Sophia looked down to Louis to see that he was starting to wake up. Then looking back up to Artemys, Sophia nodded a little indicating that she would head home.
Artemys looked at Sophia with a guilty expression upon her features. "I know I did…" She replied quietly. It didn’t help much that the woman was starting to cry again. She really would rather her spend the night but Leona was making it difficult to keep to that. Sighing she was about to go back on the phone to somehow attempt to persuade the Head Bellator in allowing Sophia to at least rest up first when she noticed the red-headed vampiress look at her and then nod. She kept a careful gaze on her momentarily before sending her tiny sad smile. After hitting the ‘hold’ button once again, she brought the phone up to her ear. "She’ll be heading back shortly…" After conversing a little more, she finally hit the ‘end call’ button on her phone and looked over to Sophia. "I’m so sorry…If I had it my way I would let you stay. I would rather it that way anyways…" She said softly before turning to look over at Louis who she noticed had woken up. "Why don’t you finish that up first before you head out? Perhaps even just have a little rest. I would feel better about letting you head off if you did. If Leona complains about your tardiness then just put me at fault." Artemys smiled a little as she walked over to her godson seeing as she hadn’t gotten the chance to see him since Sophia arrived.

Sophia didn't look up to Artemys as she told Leona that she would be back shortly. Then when Art ended the call and moved over to the bed, Sophia looked at her a little when she was told to finish her blood and have a little rest. She knew that Louis would need a little attention sooner rather than later, but the prospect of a little sleep was far too appealing. Taking the mug of blood back in her hands, Sophia sighed a little before she drank, watching Louis look around his surroundings as he realised that he wasn't at home, and that his father was nowhere in sight. "I suppose a little sleep wouldn't hurt... would you be okay just watching Louis, he shouldn't be a bother... I brought this if he gets fussy." she said briefly moving off the bed so and moving over to her bag, unzipping it so that she could take out the teddy bear that Artemys had created for her son, who seemed to actually like the teddy. Moving back to the bed, Sophia held out the bear for Artemys to take, just in case Louis wanted it.
"Sure it’s fine." Artemys nodded at Sophia before watching carefully as she got up and made her way over to the bag that she brought. A small smile appeared upon her lips as the woman came back only to hand her the toy that she herself made especially for Louis. "I see he’s taken a liking to it then. I’m glad." She said softly before gently taking it in her hand and then making her way over to her godson. The Head Lady placed the toy on a nearby chair and then proceeded to remove Louis from the car seat with the utmost care seeing as she figured he would want some freedom to move around. After doing so, she cradled him for a bit before picking up the toy and seating herself on the chair. She then held it out before him while waving it a little. "We should be just fine. Go ahead and get some sleep." Artemys briefly looked over to Sophia with a smile before turning her attention back to Louis.

Sophia watched with eager eyes as Artemys moved over to Louis and took him out of the seat. Finishing the mug of blood, and feeling a lot better for it, Sophia carefully placed the mug back down and looked over to Artemys when she said that she would be okay with Louis, she knew that she could trust Art with Louis, but she couldn't help but worry a little. Sighing ever so slightly, Sophia moved up on the bed a little, kicking off her shoes before she swung her legs up, slowly lying down and turning onto her side so that she could at least she her son. Watching the two for a little while, it wasn't long until Sophia fell asleep, it seemed that she was more tired than she previously thought.
Although her complete attention was on Louis then from her peripheral vision did Artemys notice Sophia’s gaze on the pair that is until the woman shortly after fell into slumber. She got a little tired of holding the toy so she sat it in her lap so that her godson was still able to set his eyes on it. "Busy night, huh Louis? Well at least until you went to sleep." A quiet chuckle escaped her as she moved her hand closer to his face so that the tips of her fingers could stroke his cheek. It really surprised her at how soft a baby’s skin was… and then the scent that he was emitting…it was quite addicting she had to say. "Do not worry... I am sure everything will be just fine..." She hoped so at least.....
Obviously she knew he had already had his sleep but still she couldn’t help but rock him a little and gently pat him. While his mother slept, Artemys would simply look at the baby with warm eyes or at times she would talk to him about random things. When she noticed him fussing a little she would again hold out the toy for him and even hum a little tune or as quietly as possible sing him a lullaby. In all the while that Sophia slept, she kept Louis entertained somehow… and she had to say she didn’t mind it at all.

To say that Sophia slept well would be a lie, a little into her sleep she began to toss a little and turned over, her back now facing Artemys. She was dreaming of Leo, dreaming of the man that she had fallen in love with, her Angelic Warrior, the man that she was going to spend the rest of her life with. Then as the dream changed, she still dreamt of Leo, but not the Leo that she had fallen in love with, it was the monster that had turned on her, the one that had struck her with such force that she had been flung to the floor. As soon as she dreamt that she had been thrown to the floor, Sophia shot upright and gasped a little, looking around the room, at first a little disorientated at where she was, tears prickling in her eyes.
Artemys quickly tore her attention away from Louis and over to Sophia when the seneschal suddenly sprung into a sitting position. Words didn’t have to be spoken to know that something was wrong… it seemed like she was having a nightmare. Gently she picked herself up with her godson in hand and moved over to the bed where she sat herself on the edge and turned to face the woman with a concerned look. "You seemed to have trouble sleeping… did you have a nightmare?" She asked softly before descending her gaze down to Louis who looked to be wanting his mother seeing as he was trying to reach out for her.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
