Cassandra walked up to the front door of the Twilight Manor. Compared to this place, her house was a freaking garden shed... Still, Reira called her and asked if she wanted to come over and spend some time with her. Even attempt at a small sleepover for the two girls. Cassie jumped to it almost immediately. Not only does she love sleepovers, she could tell from Reira's tone that she was upset about something. Now, she had a duffle bag full of movies from her collection, popcorn bags, tons of cookies, and the other basics. She knocked on the door, then took a step back and waited.

Reira was sulking… and she didn’t like it one bit. Ever since that whole Aidan and Bonnie incident she confined herself to her room. She would just simply lie in bed wide awake and stare out the window. Tears were no longer pouring but on the inside she still felt like she was crying and she really didn’t know why. The witch needed a distraction… anything to get her mind off these feelings. After calling Cassie and suggesting that she spend some time with her, the witch meekly waited for her friend at the foot of the long stairway. A dim look was upon her face as she drummed her fingers against her thigh not really waiting in anticipation but just something for her hand to do she supposed. For some reason when she heard the door knock, she remained the way she was for a few moments. Finally after breathing out a rough sigh, she lazily walked herself over to the door and placed her hand on the door knob but made no attempts to open it. She let out another sigh again before putting on a small smile upon her face as she twisted the knob and opened the door. "Hey… thanks for coming." Reira said upon setting sight on her gypsy friend before moving aside to let her inside. She closed the door carefully after Cassie made her way in and after she did so, she immediately approached her friend and gave her a hug not really saying anything else in the process.

Cassie could already tell just from seeing her friend that she wasn't in the best of moods. When Reira hugged her for awhile, she only silently hugged her in return. She knew that Reira didn't want to talk about anything right now, but she wouldn't have called if she wasn't planning on telling her later. Cassie pulled back a it and said, "Hey, I told you, you call, I arrive. See me as your personal faerie godmother tonight, didykai." She gave a warm smile and said, "Alright, so where we cooping ourselves up to? Bedroom, or the living room? Be prepared though, I know my sleepovers, and brought all my proper weapons for tonight." SHe laughed and winked at her friend. Right now, she's just focused on making her smile and laugh.

Reira smiled very lightly as she listened to Cassie. Just her friend’s presence was already somewhat brightening her mood. "That you did. And we shall be bunking ourselves up in the living room. More spacious and it’s a home theater so it’d be like being at the movies except at home." She shrugged off with a smile before leading the two of them off. "Oh boy." Reira just laughed when Cassie mentioned bringing her ‘weapons’ for the sleepover. "Ah right… just to let you know… my sisters might be arriving home late. Perhaps you’d like to meet them or something." She suggested just as they entered the living room. "You can just plop your stuff over there." She pointed towards beside the couch which had a bunch of folded blankets and pillows atop it at the moment. The witch sat herself down on another couch and got herself comfortable. "So what’s first on the agenda?" She stuck her tongue out at Cassie; she felt a little bit better she guessed.

Cassie laughed as she put her stuff down. "I'd love to meet your sisters. You're awesome, so they're bound to be just as cool." Even though she's a gypsy, and Reira's sisters just so happen to be a vamp and a were, she didn't mind meeting them. She's one of the rare gypsies that give the supernatural a chance to prove themselves. Besides, they are her friend's family, so they can't be bad. When Reira asked what was first on the agenda, Cassie answered by emptying the contents in her larger bag. There were the movies, snacks, and various girly things girls do. "Well, take your pick," she answered, smiling. "We can throw in a movie, munchies on some snacks, or we can girly-fy each other. I even have nail stuff and that gooey mix people put on their faces for spas and whatnot." She really wasn't kidding when she said she came prepared. "Or we can do all of it at once. We have all night."

Reira stared with a wide eye as Cassie unloaded her ‘arsenal.’ "You were definitely not kidding when you said you came prepared." She laughed sheepishly. Before going over to her friend and looking through the movies. "Hmm…. I say we go for all of it at once." She grinned somewhat as she picked one movie up only to put it down to grab another. "Ohhhhh I love ‘Anastasia.’" Reira said quite excitedly as she eyed the movie in her hand. "This one! This one! This one!" She giddied to Cassie as she held it out to her. Technically she couldn’t say she felt like a kid ‘again’ seeing as her childhood was nowhere near as a child should experience but she did have to say she did feel like one all the same.

Cassandra smiled at her friend. "I love this movie too. I actually had to dance to one of the songs up here. Maybe I'll show it to you when the scene comes up." She grinned and walked over to the entertainment system to put in the movie. "You should come to my house when it's all unpacked and pretty. My movie collection would make you gawk. Blockbuster comes to me for movie rentals." Cassie paused for a moment when a shot of pain was sent through her head. "Stupid headaches..." she groaned, whispering. She ignored the pain though and continued to set everything up. She's here for Reira.
Once the movie was in, she grabbed her bundles of cookies, brownies, and various candies and sweeties. "It's not an addiction, it's a way of life," she explained to her friend about the amount of sugar. She strewn the blankets and pillows on the floor before dumping the bundles of goodies atop them. Cassie sat down and motioned for Reira to follow suit. As she pushed play on the remote, she grabbed a tiny bag. "Now, feel free to munchies and watch movie, while I make your nails all purdy," she smiled. "Oops, forgot drinks..." she just realized aloud, but too lazy to get up.

Reira was scrolling through the rest of the movies so she didn’t notice Cassie being affected by a headache. After their little area was set up, the witch went to grab the last pillow on the couch when she heard her friend mention about forgetting drinks. She lightly sighed and shook her head with a smile. "I’ll get it." She stuck her tongue out at Cassie before going to grab the pack of canned sodas. Once she did that and had the pillow in hand, she moved over to where her friend was and plopped herself beside her. She got herself comfortable before grabbing a box of chocolate raisins and popping open a can. "Cranberry color please." Reira said with a smile as she held her hand out to Cassie and then went to focus her attention on the movie.

Cassie nodded and looked through her bag until she found a color similar to what Reira wanted. She first filed and buffed her nails though. When she does manicures, Cassie goes all out. As the movie played, she couldn't help but sing along with the music. This was one of her favorite movies growing up. This movie is what actually got her into dancing, seeing all the girls in their dresses on the screen, twirling around. It fascinated her.
She had one hand all manicured and painted when her favorite song was about to come up. "Ooh! Ooh!" she exclaimed, standing up. "Watch this!!" As the song played, she began to do her ballet in front of Reira. Her body immediately remembered the postures and expressions, like it was only yesterday. As she danced, anyone watching her could tell she loved it. This was the one thing she loved more than her garden. Dancing was her gateway out of reality and into her own world. When she was done, she smiled and moved back beside Reira, grabbing the cookies to munch on. She could already feel her headaches coming back, but the dance was worth it.

As the movie played and Cassie did her nails, Reira would be commenting every now and then on the movie and if a song was on then she would be singing along to it. When Cassie’s ‘favorite song’ came up, she was smiling at her friend’s performance and the way she did it really displayed her love for dancing. Clapping could be heard from the witch as her friend finished and sat back down next to her. "Wow… that was really good! You should teach me sometime." She stuck her tongue out but smiled gently afterwards before returning her eye back to the movie. Further into said movie it was at the part where Anya found out that Dimitri was lying to her… well in the beginning at least. Perhaps this movie wasn’t the best choice… She suddenly didn’t feel like doing anything anymore. Sighing lightly, Reira’s head turned away from the screen and found an interest to the window outside. Of course, she knew the motive behind the male character’s intention. Even though they had been selfish at first then as the time progressed it ended up being genuine.

Cassandra resumed finishing up Reira's nails. By the time they were finished, she said, "There we go! I must say, I have skills with nails." She looked up to smile at her friend, when she noticed Reira looking away from the movie, with that distant look on her face. Yeah, something's bothering her. Cassandra looked over to the movie and realized what part they were at. I bet five galbé it's got something to do with that Aidan boy... Cassie remembered Bonnie mentioning somehting about Aidan trying to get close to their friend. By the looks of it, he was successful.
Cassie grabbed the remote and paused the movie. "Alright, didykai," she said, turning to her friend. "What's up? I know you're naturally a little more festive and lively and such, but you've been in such a bum mood for awhile. I'm worried for my friend." She turned completely around so she could face Reira fully. "You can talk to me about anything, Reira. I have this strict 'no judgement' policy. You can tell me you've sacrificed babies and I won't judge you for it. Now, I may smack you on the head and give you my opinion, but that's it." Cassie's always been around to help anyone and everyone that's close to her, and she considers Reira one of her best friends.

Reira remained completely silent but she was still attentive to what Cassie was saying. She didn’t reply back for a few moments. Her eye was narrowed into almost a close and she tensed up a little. "Bonnie ended up at the hospital because of…. Aidan…. She called for me… I went to her and look who of all people I see there…I think what got me even angrier is when she told me that he threatened to kill the baby… I told him if he ever came near us again…. I would destroy him… and I can tell you right now that I am in no means joking…" Of course, at the same time there was a part of her that didn’t want to but the hurt and anger she’s been experiencing was only pushing those thoughts back. Reira wasn’t sure what to think at the moment.

Cassandra listened as Reira explained what happened. She knew Bonnie went to the hospital, bu didn't know why until now. When she heard what Aidan did to the High Priestess, she felt a wave of anger take over herself. But her head suddenly began to pound, so she quickly tried to calm herself down to relieve from the painful pressure. Once the pain lightened, she looked back over at Reira. She knew the witch would keep to her word and do whatever it took against the guy. But she knew that wasn't the full reason for her behavior.
She looked up to the TV screen, then back to her friend. "You started to trust him, didn't you?" she asked. She didn't blame her, he had that charisma that brought people to him. Aidan probably used that on Reira, and without Bonnie around, Aidan had to have gotten on her good side.

Reira stared blankly at Cassie first when she heard what she asked of her. She then looked away as she tried to fight back the angry tears that began to fell. "More like I ‘did’ trust’ him. At least before what he did to Bonnie. Now I’d rather see him crawl in a hole and die there." That’s what she was telling herself though. A heavy sigh escaped her as she looked dully off into the open air. "Obviously I knew he was up to no good in the first place…. Bonnie even warned me about him especially since it was coming from the energies itself… but I dunno… there was just something about him that told me otherwise…" She said quietly before pulling her knees close to her chest and then hiding her face as she wrapped her arms around her legs.

Cassie watched Reira silently as her friend told her what happened. Cassie could tell there was more emotion and trouble then Reira was letting on. "Normally I'm one who says follow your gut," she said in reply, "but with this guy, he sends too many mixed signs for all of us to understand him." She had to admit, the guy gave a sense of trust, even though the Energies clearly gave their warning through Bonnie. Cassie felt really bad for her asian friend though. She spent the most time with the warlock, and she began to develop some form of friendship, before he recently screwed it up.
Getting an idea, she stood up and said, "Alright, let's fix this." She walked over and went through her bag as she grabbed a random mixed CD. She then put it into the entertainment system and smiled before pressing play. The music came on, and Cassie grabbed Reira's hands. "C'mon, get up," she said, smiling. "I'm going to make sure to get you in a good mood tonight, if it's the last thing I do." She began to shake around to the beat, moving Reira's arms. "C'mon didykai. Forget the world for a few minutes and just listen to the music." This is what Cassie did whenever she got upset, and it worked every time.

Reira heard what Cassie said and merely shrugged her shoulders with a sigh. "Yeah… I guess so…" One thing for sure was that it was going to be a little harder for her to let in new people and if Bonnie gave her a warning against them as well she would not hesitate to listen from then on.
The witch almost warily watched as her friend got up and put on some music and before she knew it she was being pulled up. She stood there immobile for a few moments but eventually she put on a little smile and began mimic Cassie’s movements otherwise she was moving around on her own pace and even singing a little to the lyrics. Reira had to say it was making her feel better….not just the dancing but her friend being there to get her mind of things.

Cassie laughed as she danced with her friend. It was good to see Reira smile and enjoy herself. Cassie knew what it was like to be sad and feeling like the world you knew was changing without you. Different incidences, but the same feeling. So the gypsy knew the perfect remedy for her asian friend. "Oh! Here, try this with me..." Cassandra then began to go off in a series of tiny dance lessons, not to hard, but darn fun and sexy when all put together. She laughed at Reira lightly when she didn't get the moves right at first, but that's what made this all fun. They went dance through three songs before Cassie had to stop. "Okay, I think I need some water," she breathed, laughing. She began to head over to the kitchen and asked, "You want me to fix you a glass too?"

Reira would scowl whenever she didn’t get a move right but in the end laughed it out as well in a sheepish manner. She was out of breath when Cassie asked her if she wanted water and had taken to lying sprawled over the couch. "Yesh please… make sure there be lots of ice in it too if you don’t mind." She wanted to tease and say to put one of those little umbrellas in it as well –which they actually did have hidden in the pantry- but her friend had already gone. Letting out a sigh she then looked to the ceiling as she lazily rested a hand over her stomach, closing her eye in the process.

She wasn't sure if it was being a kitchen witch, or just a strong intuition, but she always had a sense where everything was in people's kitchens. She graed two glasses, then walked over to the fridge to fill them with ice. When she got to the second cup, her head suddenly began to throb with an unexplainable pain. She dropped the glass, shattering it on the floor. "Reira..." she called out, holding her head in pain as a ringing began to form in her ears. Her eyes hurt as well, and she could barely look up when Reira walked into the kitchen. "Something's not right," Cassie groaned, trying to find the source of her headache with her ability, but nothing was working.

Reira had lots of things running through her mind when suddenly she heard a glass shattering in the kitchen. "Cassie? You alright in there?" She called out before getting her rump off the couch and headed towards the kitchen. She wasn’t really worried about the glass seeing as she could repair that in a jiffy but she was concerned for her friend. Hopefully it was just an accident although she really shouldn’t be too concerned for her friend either… not because she was cold-hearted or anything but simply because of her Biokinesis ability. "Are you alri-" As she entered the kitchen, she looked towards her friend and there was something about Cassie that made her pause in her steps. "Cassie…. Your eyes are glowing….whitish-gold….." She said quite bluntly as she tilted her head curiously before approaching her friend and gently placing her hands on her friend’s shoulders. What was going on? Obviously by what she said then this wasn’t exactly normal…

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
