The night club was particularily busy tonight. The d.j. for some reason was playing karyokee music and a few people acctualy tried to sing the right words, only a few were pretty good but others... Lets not go there. Richard sat the bar leaning on his arms and ordered a water. The song soon shanged to a simple tune and the d.j. asked if there was anyone else that wanted to get up on the stage. The spot light was going around the room to find a random person and the light soon landed on Richard. Reluctantly Richard downed his water and headed up to the stage takeing the microphone and telling the d.j. 'Whispers in the dark' by Skillet. The song's opening started and when it came time for the words, Richard's voice changed to match the originale as close as anyone could ever get.

Kali was sitting at the bar in the night club, for some reason they were doing Kareoke tonight. There was a small smile on her face as she listened to the people who went up there, some of them were decent and others were just plain horrible. She kept going into the person who was guiding the lights mind, every time he thought of letting it stop on her and telling him not to, the last thing she needed was to get up there and sing. When someone got up there and started to sing a Skillet song she looked up, he was good. She ordered herself a vodka on the rocks "Thanks." she said as she lay some money down and grabbed her drink. She signaled for him to keep them coming as she turned her attention back to the singer.

Richard's movments to the music helped him to bring his voice out in the right tone for the song till the finale guitar strokes. He looked over the crowd, Richard waited for the next person to come up and take the mic. The spot light severale times went over someone at the bar and it even looked like it paused on them for a moment befor moving on. 'It's clear that she dosn't want to come up.' Richard laughed to himself quietly. 'She must not be all that good if she keeps telling the one directing the lights to not land on her.' He knew all to well about how vampires could get into other's minds and manipulate them, and Rich knew that that was what she was doing. Steping off the stage, the microphone in hand, he headed over to the bar and handed the mic to some random person before sitting down and sending the person off to sing. Getting a fresh water Richard couldn't help but side glance at the vampiress a few seats away from him. She was new in town, but she didn't seem to be much of a threat.

Kali watched as he finished singing and passed the microphone to someone else, unfortunately the next person was horrible. Grabbing her drink she stood up and made her way over to where he now sat. There was a friendly smile on her face as she sat down beside him, sparing a glance to the stage before returning her attention to him. "Hey, Kali Sanders. You did a great job up there, may I buy you a drink?" she asked him. As she waited for his answer she took a sip of her drink and looked around.

Takeing a sip of his water when the vampiress sat down beside him. "Richard Hunter, thanks but no thanks. Not much of a drinker." Richard told Kali swallowing a mouthful of water. The person that he had sent up was making his ears feel like they were bleeding. "Man I wouldn't be surprised if that guy gets the crook." He joked sparing a glance behind him to nobody on the dance floor. "Ok he needs to get off the stage, or somebody else is going to tackle him off." Richard continued to joke looking back at Kali. "So what brings you out tonight?" He asked taking a sip of his water.

Kali chuckled and looked at the singer. "I heard they were doing this tonight so I came to just listen and enjoy the sounds. Didn't think this many people would be tone deaf but it is fun to watch." she said. The man was bound to get booed off stage, that would be quite the sight in her opinion. "I'm also thinking maybe somebody here could be of use in the food category, don't worry though... I only take a small amount and they don't even remeber." she said in reassurance. She finished her drink and set the empty glass down. There were a slim amount of good choices for her to feast on, she would probably settle for an animal though.

"No kidding." He said finishing his water and leaning his back against the bar faceing the dance floor. When she mention looking for something within the food catigory, Richard went on high alert and looked at her. "I'de advise not to try any thing at the moment. Sorry but I don't exactly like seeing vampires feed in front of me, and it's all to hard for me to ignore." He said resting his elbows on his knees his gaze going back to the dance floor.

Kali laughed some at his last remark "Don't worry doll face, I never feed in front of others.... besides, I think I shall be going for an animal tonight instead.." she said. As the singer hit a high note she winced. "I didn't want to do this but this is just murder on the ears. I'll be back, enjoy the show." she said before standing up and heading towards the stage. She made the guy doing the music cut the singer short, then she told him to play Kali Sanders song Don't. Moving to the stage she smiled, of course she would know this song....it was hers.

Richard chuckled when she called him doll face but didn't do much more after the soloist hit a high note and he covered his ears. "Please do, any more of this and my ears will start to bleed." Richard pleaded as she got up and headed over to the stage. The soloist soon got off the stage and the song changed again. When it came time for the words Richard's jaw almost hit the floor... this girl was incredible. 'Boy was I wrong about her. He laughed at himself and watched as others got back on the dance floor and started chearing her on.

Kali smiled and did a curtsey as the song ended, she wanted to do just one more though and it was a duet. Jumping off the stage she went and got Richard, dragging him back up there with her. "Do this song with me and then no more singing from me." she said. "Party for two, Kali Sanders." she said told the DJ. This was one of her songs that she liked to sing for the party occasions and this had to be a party occasion. Handing Richard a microphone the song started. She knew that she had found a good friend in this man, even if he was a werewolf.

When Kali finished her song, Richard couldn't help but applaud with the audience. Seeing her come running to him the mic still in her hand he thought that she was going to pass it on to him, but was surprised when she took his hand and drug him towards the stage. Hearing her choice in songs, Richard got a worried look on his face. He didn't know the words to the song very well, he had only heard the song once. Takeout a calming sigh Richard counted the beats with his foot and waited for his line after Kali's. When it came his turn his voice had changed to match the original almost exactly.
Kali was impressed with his voice and she was honored to perform this duet with him. After the song ended she tossed her microphone to someone in the crowd and hopped off the stage before heading back to her seat at the bar. When Richard had rejoined her she gave him a thumbs up. "Way to go Richard." she said. "Now tell me about you, please." she said she was quite curious to know about this werewolf, he seemed interesting... like someone she would be good friends with.

The song went off without a hitchand when it finished Richard set his mic on it's stand and jumped off the stage heading back to his seat beside Kali. "Thanks, your not too bad yourself." He said finally ordering something other than water, Mt. Dew. Sipping his soda Richard faced Kali before he spoke. "Well I have an older sister who has a fiance and a child. I have a fiance myself, getting married in the spring. I hunt bloodsuckers that don't know the rules of the trade. Mercinary if you will. My parents were tortured and killed about ten years ago by a whole vampire army, that's about when I became a mercenary and I've never looked back. My older sister has taken the same path as me but she dosnt just hunt unruly vampires, but also our own kind that is beyond help." Richard finished taking another sip of soda as he looked back out at the dance floor seeing people dance to the rapper on stage. "He's not bad."
Kali saw the pictures of the people he was talking about in his mind, she didn't mean to sometimes she just slipped into peoples mind without knowing. Then she looked up at the rapper, he was doing good. "Your sister and fiance are beautiful." she said. Looking around the bar she came to the conclusion that she would be feasting on deer tonight. She spotted a guy looking at her and she sent him a smile and a small wave, he blushed some and glanced away. "I hope everything goes well for the both of ya'll." she told him.

Looking back at Kali when she said that his sister and fiance were beautiful he chuckled lightly and scratched his jaw line with the edge of his thumb. "Thank you, although Alexandria can be a pain. But Eileen, I'm scared to leave her alone most of the time, she's been attacked twice. The first time was before we meet she was attacked by a vampire, the second was about a week before we got engaged, a young fucking wolf that had a beaf with my sis almost killed her." Richard realized that he was starting to lose his temper and stopped talking to calm down some. "Thanks for the blessing, I just hope that I can protect her." He said leaning forward on his knees and hanging his head a little.
Kali smiled and looked at Richard, it must be tough worrying about someone you loved. "I think you can do it, she seems like a strong woman if she is still around from the two attacks." she said. She hoped she wasn't saying anything wrong or stepping over some kind of boundary. "I wish ya'll the best of life and hopefully it will go attack free. You should really consider changing her....human forms are so fragile and weak, she could die from sickness or from attacks." she told him.

Richard turned his head to face Kali and gave a small smile when she said that Eileen was pretty strong to have survived two attacks. "That she is." He said remembering how she fought against Dustin both times that they had encountered him. When Kali told him that he should think about turning her and the reasons, he felt unsertainty. That she would want to be turned, or if he would kill her in the prossess. "Maybe, I'll talk to her about it, but the main question is, will she be able to ajust to being a wolf?" Was all that he said before he stood up and put his jacket on his seat. "I'll be right back." He informed Kali as he walked toward the stage just as the rapper finished and handed Richard the mic. "Idestructable Disturbed." He told the d.j. and counted the beats with his foot his sliping into a tone that was slightly off from the original.
Kali nodded and watched as he walked to the stage. "Give me a martini this time." she said told the bartender, alcohol did nothing to her so it was just like drinking a sode or water. As she sipped the drink she thought about changing. It may turn out that her body would reject the change.....sometimes that happened with vampires, their body would reject the change and they would die. She did not know if the same could be said for werewolves though, she would have to ask. As she sat there thinking she tuned everything out, going to her own little world..

Richard's song soon finished and he jumped off the stage and walked back to the bar. Sitting back down Richard finished his soda and payed the bar tender. "That time it wasn't all that good, but o'well." He said shrugging his shoulders as he leaned back pinched the bridge of his nose and stretching. The long nights of his hunting and unsuccesful efforts to sleep were starting to catch up to him. "Ah man, did the dude spike my drink or something?" He asked jokingly as he shook his head to try and wake up.
Kali finished off her drink and set the empty glass down along with some money for the bartenders tip. Standing up she smiled at Richard, there was a small hint of sadness in her eyes. "You should go get some sleep. Before you change her make sure you a certain she will survive. Her body may reject it, I'm not sure how things are for you wolves....but make sure you don't lose your love." she told him. Giving him one last small smile she turned to leave, her eyes had grown darker since she had been there and so it was time for her to leave and go feed. Walking into the cold night air she took a deep breath and started to hunt.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
