When he sighed and turned around to look at Sophie, it took all her might not to smile seeing as the alpha male was listening to her. Glancing at Sophie, she smiled a little as she watched her jump in the puddles. The alpha female promised herself that she would take the time to get to know this girl, after all they were practically family now. A thought then came to her mind. She wondered if her ‘cousin-in-law’ had a home for herself or if any at the moment. If not then the Twilight sister wouldn’t mind at all if she came to live with herself and Lucian since there were two extra bedrooms at their penthouse. Although the idea was very appealing to her at the moment, she decided not to bring it up at the moment; maybe she would after Lucian finally realized Sophie was his cousin or after they got to talk a little. The young werewolf was snapped back to reality when she was suddenly placed onto the ground even if it was gentle. Tears almost escaped Serena’s eyes as she watched Lucian walk over to Sophie and embrace her. She bit her lip somewhat and brought a hand to cover her mouth, which a wide smile upon it. In a normal situation, the alpha would have gone up to the two and hugged the both of them as well but she felt that they needed a moment to themselves seeing as they hadn’t seen each other in years. Sighing in relief, she rubbed her forehead a little feeling a headache and turned away to look towards the ocean. The group had stopped just about near the fountain of the penthouse apartment and the ocean was in the alpha female’s view through the boardwalk entrance. Seeing the cousins reunite got her thinking about Artemys. She wondered if she would ever see her own sister again which made her a little somber at the moment. Bringing her hand up, she wiped her teary eyes with the sleeve of her jacket and sniffed as quietly as possible. ‘One day…’ she thought.
