After her father had spoken to Zeddie (Grace's prom date), they both arrived at the high school, escorted by Levi, since he had nothing else to do. Grace's dad had realised the fact that she could pretty much look after herself, and he wanted the be the best that he could be by letting her go to the prom with 'Zeddie', he hadn't wanted to hold her back and keep her from all of that stuff, especially since he never got to go to a prom. This pleased Grace so much, that her father was still protective but not too protective as to get on her nerves. Zeddie was only a mortal, with no abilities whatsoever, and he wasn't aware of the fact that magic or supernatural beings existed, which surprised Grace a fair bit, so of course due to that reason they had to go to the prom via car. And once they were dropped off at the school by Levi, Grace happily waved and walked through the front entrance wearing this dress.

Toby stood by the punch bowl and was in the process of getting some punch for him and Sylvie, while she was talking to some of her friends. He had already taken off his tie, it wasn't easy to breath with that around his neck, not to mention when he was dancing. The band who played were playing various music that you would associate with certain Hollywood movies.
When he finally managed to get two cups of punch, he started to find his way back to Sylvie, but with the girls' dresses and the moving crowd he almost bumped into a couple, but he came to a halt just in time only to realise it was no other than Grace. His eyes moved over the dress she was wearing. "Woooow, you look......Wow," he said as his eyes went back up to her face. Then he smiled widely. "The princess has been let out of her tower and joined the ball I see," he said with a slight chuckle., but then he noticed the guy standing next to Grace and he sent him a pair of narrowed eyes. "Who's Dumbo?" he asked. Well not that the guy looked like a baby elephant or anything, but Toby was just being Toby.

As she walked in with a smile on her face, holding Zeddie's hand, she was almost immediately approached by Toby, or rather, Toby had stumbled upon her, not literally though. "Here we go, first obstacle.." She thought to herself as he started to speak. Grace guessed he was probably going to throw some stupid comment. When he addressed Zeddie as 'dumbo' she scoffed, and Zeddie kept quiet, letting her handle everything. "He, just so happens to be my prom date.." She puts a bit of emphasis on the 'my' part. "You know, calling him dumbo instantly gives some indication of jealousy? Maybe you should have asked me before this lovely man did." Grace smiled up at her prom date. She didn't appreciate Toby's rude attitude at all, there was no way she would stand for it. With that, she pulled her blue-eyed boy away and started to dance with him.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.

Carpe Noctum is the decendant of the old forum, Vampires Vs. Werewolves started by Kikyo in 2007. In 2010 we moved the forum from Proboards to vForums with success. Carpe Noctum is build over the old forum with new features and storyline attached to it.
