Carpe Noctum

Maggie, was becoming very bored, and she had absolutely nothing to do, and since it was night time, she most certainly had no outdoor photos to take. Of course, Meg was off doing her own thing, most likely practising magic. Maggie also wasn't one for watching television, so she decided to slip outside and go for a stroll along the streets. As she made her way deeper into town, more and more people began building up, due to all of the night time activities in the same area.
Finally deciding to come to a halt outside of the night club, she smiled to herself, thinking that it might be a little bit fun to do something different.
After she had entered the building, she immediately approached the bar. She hadn't tasted alcohol for such a long time that she had forgotten what it tasted like. "Hey uh.. Can you just give me the weakest thing you've got?" She asked the bartender. The bartender nodded and immediately snatched up something and poured it into quite a large glass before sliding it over to Maggie. She wasted no time with lifting the glass up and taking a sip. Maggie poked her tongue out a bit at the taste before looking around to see if anyone just saw that odd display when she noticed that she was sitting next to someone familiar. "Hey, you're Levi right?"

Just as he was given a glass of water, a woman seemed to address him from out of nowhere. So with raised eyebrows, he looked to her and placed his glass down before swallowing the mouthful of water. "Yes, I am." He slightly smiled. "And you're Maggie, correct?" He said back to her. Levi could remember meeting her a very long time ago after he had arrived in town to discover both of his sons who were pretty much happily living their lives, or rather, now they were any way."I remember you, haven't seen you for ages.." He admits.

Maggie grinned at him and nodded. "The one and only!" She chuckled. For some reason, she was all of a sudden hit by a great mood. "No we haven't seen each other for ages hey. I guess, we have to talk about a fair bit to make up for all of that time." She chuckled again, then took another sip of her drink before looking back to Levi.
"I have to say, I haven't really been speaking to Dastan or...uh, his brother, how have you been? Just in general? I've got to catch up with everybody." She raises her eyebrows and nods. "I really need to get out more often."

Levi also smiles a bit, though he wasn't as lively as Maggie seemed to be. "Oh I've been dropping in from time to time to see how D and that are going." He nods. "They're alright." Levi admits. "I'm...alright I guess, but I'm very bored. Very, very bored." He adds on. "How have you been? I've read a few of your stories, and I seem to recall that you like photography and just art in general." He says before sipping his water and letting out a small, sort of defeated sigh, as if he was tired, which he sort of was any way.

Maggie nods at the confirmation that D and H were alright, which of course, made her glad. Though when Levi admits to being alright but very, very bored, she narrowed her eyebrows and frowned a bit. "I'm, I fine, yeah, in fact, I'm good, maybe even great.." She admits. "I'm glad you read my stories, and yes art in general is my profession." Maggie says with pride, though she quickly changes the topic. "But you, being all bored, simply won't do. In fact, I noticed that you are no where near as bouncy and happy as you should be." She says to him, then looks to his glass. "What on Earth are you doing? Coming into a night club and drinking water at the bar?" Maggie couldn't help but laugh at that. "Maybe, just maybe you need to dance." She gestured to everybody else, who were all raving out.

Before Levi could ask any more questions, Maggie had changed the topic back to him being bored and all, then he looked to his glass of water when she mentioned it. "Well, I uh.. I do not know." He begins with a slightly dazed look on his face. Levi then looked over at the crowds of people raving out. True, this was a night club and dancing around was practically what it was for, but Levi didn't dance, not like those people any way. "Uh, no. No way. I do not dance like all of those people." He says with a strict tone as if his mind was completely set on the fact that he was not going to dance like that.

She rolled her eyes at him, of course he was going to refuse to dance. "Well, if you don't dance like that what do you dance like?" She chuckled and shook her head. "Everybody has their own style of dancing." Maggie grinned at him. But then she remembered that he was indeed 'old' and that probably meant that he was mature and he was probably meaning that he danced the 'old fashioned' way. "Wait, so what you're trying to say is, that you do not know how to dance like that?" She gestured to all the people. "You're just sticking to the old classical stuff aren't you?"

Levi huffed a bit before glancing at everybody else, then returned his gaze back to Maggie. "No, I can't dance like that, never have, and I don't plan to." He admits. "And yes, I suppose you could say that." He adds. "If you ask me, that style of dancing is just..." He shakes his head and gestures to the crowds of people. "Well, not for me, put it that way." Levi managed to smile a bit, then finished off his glass of water. Surely Maggie would step into his shoes and realise that he wouldn't suit all of that craziness. "I don't even know why I've come in here, I'm not even a big fan of the atmosphere." He admits. "I guess it was part of being bored that drove me into this place."

Maggie raises her eyebrows as Levi speaks with such a stern tone. "Okay, I'll have to admit, I can't actually see you dancing like that, not while you're all stubborn and such." She says with one raised brow. "Levi, you need to let yourself go a bit, k'know? Cause you are just so.. tense, lighten up a bit or something." Maggie says to him. "You need to drink, and I mean, actually drink..." She looks down to her glass before handing it to him. "Here, finish this off.. It's really, really good." She makes sure that he takes a hold of the glass. "Drink it. It's not poisonous.." Maggie chuckled a bit.

He nods instantly when Maggie admits that she couldn't see him dancing like everybody else was. Though when he was forcefully handed the glass of alcohol, he looked down at it for a moment before looking back to Maggie. "I don't think drinking in such a crazy atmosphere is a good idea, not now." Levi admits, feeling as though he wasn't quite ready to just casually drink. When she insists, he shakes his head like a stubborn child and places the glass down on the bar. "No, Maggie you don't understand."

Maggie sighs when he rejects the drink and places it on the bar. "Hey. You might be stubborn, but not as much as I am." She begins. "I do not take no for an answer, now chill out and at least have a sip." Maggie leans a little closer and gawks at him so she would make him a little more uncomfortable. She then grabs the glass and hands it back to him. "Don't be such a woose." Maggie chucks the words at him. Then lifts the glass up to his mouth. For some reason, she was feeling very forceful tonight.

When the glass is once again forcibly handed back to him, he frowns a bit. "But.. It's not that I'm being a woose, I have a valid reason.." He states. Levi really didn't want to drink it, but he was about to give in due to pressure. He was being a bit too concerned after all. But Levi had to work on his tendency to just give in after a bit of pressure. Just because she was a woman shouldn't mean that he has to be such a pushover. This Maggie girl in particular seemed to get the better of him. "Fine! I'll drink some, just some.." He says with a frown before taking in some of the alcohol in the glass, he wasn't going to deny it, it did taste, pretty damn good.

Maggie laughed when Levi finally gave in and tried some of the drink. "It's pretty damn good isn't it?" She smiles and pats him on the shoulder. "There's no denying it either, because I can tell just by the look on your face that you're loving that stuff." She says with raised eyebrows. "Go ahead and finish the glass, you know you want to." Maggie gestures, not once removing her gaze from Levi, continuing to make him feel uncomfortable. "And once you're done with the drink you should perform a demonstration of your own type of dancing." She said, seeing that Levi was calming down a bit already.

He almost frowned when Maggie suggested that he finished the entire glass, though he refrained. Levi then rolled his eyes ever so slightly and lifted up the drink once again before downing the rest of the glass. "There, now you can't possibly pester me about being a woose and refusing to drink it..." He puts the now empty glass down and lifts his chin up a bit before shaking his head. "Nope. The music in here does not suit my dancing... You should know that." He slowly blinks."If you want to see me dancing it must be with somebody with the same experience and it must be to suitable music." Levi states.

She laughs and nods. "Fine, no dancing.. But one day Levi. One day.." She holds up a finger with one raised eyebrow. "And who's stopping me from pestering you to have another drink?" She smiles before asking for a duplicate of the same drink, then she hands the full glass to Levi. "Down it! Just do it! Drink it like there's no tomorrow." She beams cheerfully. For some reason, she was in one of those 'boom!' moods. Maggie wanted to stay all radical and crazy, and she wasn't going to let Levi sit around being all quiet, she wanted to see him laughing, or, something.

He narrows his eyebrows as he watches Maggie order another drink for him, then he looks down to the full glass when it is handed to him. Levi let out an irritated sigh before downing half of the glass in one go. Then he took a breath and downed the rest of the drink. "There. You happy now?!" He says with raised eyebrows and widened eyes, though he doesn't last long before he starts laughing softly. "I...drank it like there is no tomorrow." He smiles, then calms down. "Why don't you actually drink? Here you are, sitting around telling me to drink, everything." He gestures with his hands. "You know what? Hey.." He looks to the bartender. "Give her the strongest thing you've got." Levi says, and within a minute, there was a small shot of apparently the strongest thing they had sitting there in front of Maggie.
