Leo hadn't been around the castle for a very long time and since he was the Head Lord, he thought it might be an idea to make an appearance, just to let himself be seen in the vampire area. That was what had been the problem with the previous Head Lord, he didn't show himself often enough among his own kind. Sure Leo knew he could do a lot better, but when you lived in the hills it was hard to leave, but he was here now. He walked down the long corridor, moving through the rooms, greeting people when he met them.
When he reached one of the top floors he leaned over the rail, resting his arm there as he looked all the way down to the first floor. He could see a large part of the entrance hall, watching vampires now and again cross it, heading out or coming in. It was like he could keep an eye with his surroundings without being noticed. Sure he had a very public rank, but he valued his privacy, more so in these troubled times where it seemed the Rose Alliance once again were trying to enter the town. Leo had spent many hours thinking about what could be done and especially after the whole ordeal with Celia. It was easy to enter the family, get close to them, which lead to what his daughter had said. The fact that he couldn't trust his own daughter and perhaps sister troubled him greatly. Slowly but steady he got lost in thoughts again as he stared down to the entrance hall with a blank expression on his face as if he miles away.

Artemys was off on her own again. She hated staying cooped up over at the Chateau with nothing to do or at least she needed something to do besides running all the time. So after going to check on Reira over at the manor to make sure she was alright, she headed off to the castle to see how things were doing there and then perhaps to see Missy if she wanted to go out for a hunt or something. The first thing she did though was head up to her room over there and after lounging about in there for a bit then she went off to roam the halls a bit…. Take in the old and new faces of the residents. Some time after heading to the upper floors, she was a bit surprised to see Leo there of all places…. Splendid…. She had half a mind to turn around and walk away but then again…. Artemys supposed she should be the ‘better person’ or something. Steadily she approached him not making a sound as she then leaned her back against the same railing he himself was leaning over. She crossed her arms before briefly glanced at him. "Surprised to see you here…" She simply said before looking casually away. She could care less if she got in trouble for having no one with her while she was out.

Leo turned his head when he heard Artemys' voice. They hadn't shared many words since the whole Celia insident. He for once still wasn't too happy with the fact that Celia didn't loose her abilities and magical powers, not that he didn't have faith in the High Priestess, but it was to let the vampire off easy if you asked him, no matter if she knew what had happened or not. "Just making an appearance, let them know that they have a Head Lord around," he said and looked down to the vampires who came and went every now and again. "Where's Lenard?" he asked. He couldn't sense his brother anywhere in the castle and he had specifically told Lenard to keep an eye on Artemys and then there she was without any protection.

Artemys merely nodded to what Leo said having nothing to say in the matter although she would think he should try to attempt ‘making an appearance’ more often than not. Thinking back to what happened with Celia it was safe to say that she wasn’t planning on forgiving him for it anytime soon otherwise never. Of course it didn’t mean she couldn’t act civilized around him. After all as long as they were both the heads of the coven then they did have to work together especially in these times where trouble was brewing for the town once more. Hearing him ask about Lenard’s whereabouts immediately she reacted with a light shrug. "Home most likely…" Of course she was calling the Chateau ‘home’ for now seeing as she was residing there for the mean time but especially with the tension with Leo then she was thinking about moving out otherwise she felt no need to stay there anymore.

Leo let out a sigh and straightened up as he turned a little so he better could look at the Head Lady. Crossing his arms over his chest he looked at her with a blank expression. "You know it's not easy, to keep you safe if you just wander around without someone with you," he said, giving her a slight raised eyebrow. "I picked Lenard, cause then I at least you would at least use him," he said, shaking his head a little. How on earth would they be able to keep the Head Lady safe if she didn't do what she was told.

Artemys kept with the same position when Leo changed his although she couldn’t help but uncross one of her arms so she could inspect her nails a bit. "I don’t need protection ‘all the time’…. Leo was just about to comment about what she said when his sister's name came up. He stared at Artemys with wide eyes. "Say what?" he asked, but he had heard her perfectly clear. He now turned more concerned as a thoughtful expression came over his face. "What the hell is going on around here," he said, more to himself. Artemys sighed a little bit hearing Leo’s reaction but as she eyed him carefully and took in his features then she couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. Sure her own family was in danger but she had to remember that everyone else’s were too… It didn’t really surprise her to hear about Luciele since Sophia had already informed her about her daughter although the fact that it was Lizette that had gotten to the woman was something new. The Head Lady sighed a little wondering if she should be the one mentioning what she was about to say. Leo let out a sigh as he listened to Artemys, leaning up against the rail so he could look down the long hallway he had a thoughtful expression on his face. "We've tried to reach out to her, but it's like she refuses to listen to us. I know it frustrates Leona a lot, she really wants the family back together, especially after what it's been through, the separation," he said quietly, letting out another sigh. "You know the only person, who's ever managed to get close enough to Lizzie and who she actually likes is Lenard," he explained and turned his head and looked at her. Then a smile spread on his lips as he remembered back to their human days. "They always teamed up against the rest of us. Of course my dad always ended up having a fit at the two. I have been thinking about asking Lenard to try and reach out to her, maybe he could get her to listen....otherwise I don't know what to do with her," he said, looked down to the floor a little.

Artemys remained in silence as she heard what Leo said. It surprised her really to see that smile on his features when he spoke about what seemed to be about the olden days… perhaps before they were vampires? She was thoughtful when he brought up asking Lenard to reach out to Lizette. If she could recall then her boyfriend had already tried to years back with no luck. "Lenard attempted to before with no success… but I would say a second or third time’s a charm I suppose. Wouldn’t hurt to try." She said as she kept her eyes on Leo. It really did make her feel bad for the way things were and wished she could help in some way. Carefully she brought a hand up and placed it on the Head Lord’s shoulder giving him a comforting squeeze and a little smile. "I hope things turn out well in the end…" That was really all she could say on the matter right now although she wished she could say or do more. He hadn't expected that hand on his shoulder, which caused him to look towards her, but as she started appologizing, he shook his head a little. "Don't. You just fought for someone you cared about. I would have done the exact same thing if I would have been in your place," he said as he kept his eyes on her. "And I'm sorry about how I've acted. All I wanted was to keep the town safe and well I tend to get a bit overprotective over my sister, especially when something happens to her," he said with a little smile and he was pretty sure Artemys felt the same way. So when it came down to it, then they had both acted like they did because they each had one they cared deeply about who were in the mix of it all. "Although I can't quite be sure with Javier, he's a bit more stubborn when it comes to being overprotective of Lea," he said with a light smile.

Artemys was very surprised to hear what Leo said and it made her realize that he did in fact understand the reasons behind her behavior which was quite the relief. She really did hate the fact they had fought in the first place and was a bit more at ease now that they were on the same page… it was one thing she didn’t have to stress over anymore at least. "It’s fine… with that said then I might have acted the same way as you did if I was in your place as well…" She admitted with a light nod. Alright… so maybe there was that little chance she was able to forgive the Head Lord… But in the end at least they had come to an understanding now. Javier on the otherhand she wasn’t so sure about although she could understand his reasons as well. "Hn…. I could see why he acted as such… So I don’t blame him for it… Still not happy about it though." She huffed somewhat before looking to Leo and giving him a little smile. He looked at Artemys, he had heard what had happened to her sister. "We will get them, one way or another, we will get them. Hopefully before they do more damage," he said and this time it was him who placed a hand on her shoulder and gave it a light squeeze. "How's your sister anyway, despite everything that's happened?" he asked, he knew all to well what members of the Rose Alliance were capable off, after all he had been one once and he knew especially the Duboir twins. "I can't believe I found those women fascinating once, but back when I was turned I simply accepted that was how a vampire was. So when I weren't with the human women, draining them dry I was with the female vampires. Daniele was.....different to say the least and the Duboir twins, well.....they were a something. Especially Charlot likes to run the whole mind game on you, no matter if she likes you or not. I think what Javier put them through before he turned kinda made them slightly insane, especially Charlot," he explained. Not that he knew so much about it in details, but he had managed to get a word or two out of the twins under more "relaxed" circumstances.

Artemys’ expression darkened somewhat. She couldn’t feel the slightest bit of comfort in his gesture but nonetheless she nodded to what he said about getting them. A heavy sigh escaped her as she wiped her face and then ran her fingers through her hair before turning around placing her hands rather tightly on the railing. She shifted her weight forward deep in thought as she stared down. "Reira looks normal… she acts normal… But she can’t fool me…." She shook her head lightly. "She’s devastated to say the least… When no one’s looking or around her that’s when the pretending stops… I’ve heard her crying…" She explained quietly recalling the times she attempted to go into her sister’s room only to be met with her grieving sobs. "I had them right there…. Daniele and Charlot… I should’ve ended them when I had the chance at the lake." But somehow they were able to get away…. Typical… Another thing to frustrate about.
She didn’t say much on his last explanation of Daniele and then those Duboir Twins but just hearing them being mentioned was making her blood boil, her grasp tightening harder and harder around the railing she could feel it slowly breaking. Sure it was starting to become somewhat clear why they acted as such like Charlot but the point of the matter was that they needed to do something about them. "I think we should have a town meeting… gather the heads into a discussion over the latest happenings and threats so that everyone knows what’s going on and if we can do something about it….. Aside from the Rose Alliance then there’s that Aya woman as well…. And who knows if the magic side have anyone themselves to deal with."

He could only nod when Artemys suggested a town meeting. "I think you're right. I don't want any more harm come to the people in town," he said and let out a slight sigh. Moving away from the rail as he didn't want to end up on the ground after Artemys tough grasp around it. He moved over to the nearest wall, looked at the tapestry as if it would give him answers on how to deal with everything. "I suppose we should be happy for the four years of peace and quiet around here," he said quietly, focusing on some of the details on the wall.

"The sooner we have one the better… We can’t afford to rest easy any longer." Artemys said as she somewhat loosened her hold on the railing now as she noticed she was gripping it a bit tightly. She still kept her gaze looking down though that is until she heard what Leo said to which she looked over her shoulder to him with a dim gaze. "Yeah…. Although I can’t say it’s done us any good… It’s merely given them time to survey the town…. Us…. Everyone…." Her head shook and she let out a heavy sigh recalling Charlot’s words back at the lake. "But that’s just something we’ll have to deal with whether we like it or not."

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
