Celia was having herself a night's walk by the beach. Her training with Leona was going more smoothly, especially with her bloodlust control. Not to mention, ever since that night with Nicholas, her mind has oddly been a bit more at ease. But tonight, she decided to give herself a small break and take a relaxing walk on the boardwalk. She wasn't up for swimming, but the boardwalk got you close enough to enjoy the beach's environment. It was a peaceful night on top of things as well, the moon reflecting off of the shore waters.
As she was walking, Celia soon heard whistles blowing behind her. She looked back and saw some kid running as she was being chased by a cop down the boardwalk. Normally she'd just ignore it and keep to herself, but her magick told her that the girl was a witch, which tells her this kid was up to no good...

Alright so mayyyybe ‘borrowing’ a few shiny things in that store wasn’t such a good idea… But it wasn’t like Davie could help it. Sure she knew she was supposed to be laying low… Keep out of trouble and venture out to look for her missing siblings but it wasn’t like she was making any progress…. Although she couldn’t help but let her thoughts drift over to the man she awhile ago in that jewelry store with those two girls… Nevertheless…. Getting back to the present then the young witch was bolting off down the boardwalk hopefully finding some means of escape at some point from the cop trailing after her.
"COME ON! I WAS GOOONNA RETURN THEM! CAN’T A GIRL ADMIRE SHINY THINGS AND NOT GET ACCUSED OF THIEVERY WHEN SHE WANTS TO GET A FEEL OF ‘EM IN THE SAFETY OF HER POCKETS!!" She groaned out feeling like she was getting out of breath although she refused to let herself be caught. There was some blonde girl up ahead that she could barely spot out in the distance if not for the dim lamps and it wasn’t long before she typically sailed by her. A salute was what she took the time to send the girl as well as a bright and wide mischievous smile before darting ahead to gain more speed against the cop. Did that girl look familiar though?

Celia didn't say or do anything as the girl ran past her, but with her advanced hearing, she could hear what the girl was yelling. So it was a little thief, eh? She really shouldn't be concerned over the matter, and just let the authorities deal with her, but Celia had this feeling in the pit of her stomach that she needed to help the girl. Besides, the girl was a witch, so it might be best to let Bonnie or Reira deal with her or osmething, rather than possibly exposing magick to some unaware humans.
So after making sure no one else was around, Celia used the shadows to teleport herself to the car lot where she knew the girl was going to run by. The moment she saw the girl pass by, the vampire grabbed the girl and teleported them off to a nearby building, atop the roof. "I have no idea who you are," she said, "but something tells me you needed my help. Wanna explain your 'thievery' to me before I think twice about what I just did and plop you right in those officers' laps?" Davie doesn't even know this girl, yet she sounds like she's talking her down like an older sibling or something...

It was so sudden when she was grabbed then became somewhat bewildered by the different scenery. Davie was about to throw out some choice words at whoever was responsible but when she looked to see it was that blonde girl she didn’t see too long ago she became a bit speechless… Of course she figured it was some ability that brought them up there… most likely teleportation or something… That bewilderment was only brief though as she was now scowling from the lecture she was receiving. Who did this person think she was? Of course she didn’t want to have her butt handed back to the cop…. Although now that she thought about it… "Geez… Spare me the lecture, lady. All it’s doing is going in this ear and out the other." She smirked as she even went to do the motions. "And FIYI, I didn’t need your help although I have to say it was greatly ‘appreciated’….I suppose." With her umbrakinesis, she could of course easily escaped the cop’s sight although with it being spur of the moment then Davie’s common sense had flown out the window. But this blonde girl didn’t need to now that.
For some reason, she found it rather appropriate to rebel in this person’s presence…. And she still couldn’t shake off the familiarity of her face.

And her father happens to be a cop, so she'll know about it." Celia gave the girl another serious look before sighing. It was probably useless talking to this girl anyways. Davina continued with a playful unfazed smile as she crossed her arms just as blondy had done so. "I wouldn’t call it ‘stealing’ persay….. I’d like to think of it as ‘borrowing’ but forgetting to return." She shrugged her shoulders casually followed by a tilt of the head. "And I didn’t use my abilities in my activity thank you very much. That’d be waaaay too easy." Yeah… the girl liked to boast and take on challenges and sometimes that got her into a heap of trouble like right now.
There was something off about this one… Sure she could sense her magic as she assumed she had done so as well for her… But that cold feeling she felt from the girl’s touch… It was much too chilled for a regular human and it was almost summer time for heaven’s sake. Hearing the last bit that the girl said then Davie put on an innocent appearance and narrowed her eyes a little. "My mommy and daddy said I shouldn’t talk to strangers… And unless you’re some long lost sister of mine then you’re a straaaaanger." She stuck her tongue out rather immaturely although that exaggerated claim was unknowingly far from false.

The vampiress just glared at the young girl as she spoke. Oh, this one had quite the tongue... She just rolled her eyes as the young girl got all smart with her. "Well, honey, sorry to break it to ya, but I only have two younger siblings. So unless your name is Aidan or Breanna, that isn't going to do much for you." Seriously, where is this girl getting off from? Celia had a feeling that either A: her parents aren't that active in her life, or B: her parents have no idea of this life of hers. Celia could only imagine what would happen if she were to act like this around her parents. They were not ones to approve such actions...

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
