Breanna was once again home alone, Dayton at the club working, so she could do the last curse so far. She had found the cigarette bud, John had given her and she started to prepare what was needed. Despite of the outcome, it was actually a pretty straight forward spell. She took her ceremonial bowl and placed it on the altar and grabbed a red candle on one of the shelves. She placed the candle next to the bowl and lit it so it could burn. She put the cigarette bud into the bowl. Even though it was a pretty simple curse, then she knew it would affect her in a negative direction, which was why she would wait until Dayton wasn't at home. She hadn't even mentioned that she would be performing a curse, she wasn't entirely sure why, but ever since that night where they had slept together, she couldn't get him out of her head and the more she thought about it, she didn't like the fact that he was sleeping around. And she had caught herself looking at him, when he was around, although she had made sure he wouldn't notice. At least she hoped he hadn't.
When the candle was ready she took it. "Hass, Zorn. Odio et ira renatus. Regina voco luctus. Ad vos sentire paenitenda a cras. Nemo autem audire uoces. Suffocat in mendaciis nunc," she said as she let the red wax drown the cigarette bud. Just doing so, a sudden anger towards Dayton appeared inside her. Placing the candle back on the altar, she grabbed the bowl and threw it against the wall as she screamed. She couldn't understand those feelings that ran through her, she hated feeling like this and it was all Dayton's fault. She grabbed a chair and tossed it against another wall and it wasn't long before she had scattered everything in the room, most of it broken. Running out of strength she collapsed on the bed, her head buried in the pillow. Dayton's scent hit her massively and her knuckles turned white as she held to the pillow so hard.

Dayton had been working at the club, but decided to leave early. No particular reason, and they were having a slower night. It wasn't like anyone else couldn't do his job. But when he got to the front door, he heard some crashing from inside, making him bolt. "Breanna??" he called out. He didn't know what was happening. He knew Brea's been doing the curses for Aya, but for all he knew someone had found her and tried to stop her.
But once he reached his room, he saw that there was no threat or stranger. Only Breanna laying down, amongst a room thrown into chaos. "The hell happened here?!" he flipped. Did Breanna just have a breakdown or something?

Breanna was so close at tearing the pillow apart, but when she heard Dayton's voice, she looked up and stared at him. Her eyes glowed dangerously. "What do you think, moron," she hissed. Sitting up on the bed before she got back on her feet and started to furiously try and clean up the mess, but failed and threw the half broken chair against the nearest wall with a yell. Then she looked at Dayton. "You know, before you came waltzing back into my life. Everything went fine, no drama. But then you show up on your high horse and think you are the king among men and that everyone will fall for you," she said. Holding a leg from the chair she moved closer to Dayton, and it wasn't long before she started poking him with the leg, rather hard actually. "I don't care who you see or don't see, just so we are clear. But I bloody hell don't want to hear about it either. What the hell do you think you're doing, screwing around with some vampire chick, huh!?!" she yelled at him.

Dayton couldn't help but give Breanna the 'what the hell' look as she spoke. And when she began to poke him rather hard with the chair leg, he kept knocking it away from him, but Brea persisted. It wasn't until Breanna mentioned something about a vampire chick that he finally said something. "First of all, will you stop?" he said, snatching the broken piece of wood and throwing it away from both of them. "Second of all, the hell are going off at? I don't tell you anything about what I do or who I see. What you hear isn't my fault. And the hell is wrong with a vampire, huh? If you have to know, it's the Head Bellator's daughter. You know, as in, one of the witches' niece. I'm getting close to her to get close to her family. Sleeping with her is just a plus for me." He paused for a moment as his gaze grew darker. "But none of this is your concern, Breanna. We both agreed there's nothing between us, so why the hell are you bitching about the girls I'm with, huh?? So do me a favor, get your panties out of a bunch and grow up." She really had no right to be like this. Breanna managed to huff and puff several times before she managed to say anything, but since she no longer had something to poke him with then she turned into punching him with her fist, right on his shoulder. "First of all. I highly doubt that the reason for you screwing a vampire is to get close to anyone regarding our assignments. The only thing you think with is that and not that," she said and first pointed to his groin and then poked his forehead afterwards. "You do shit around here. Not to mention I have to bloody clean up your mess around the house. I am working my butt off with the spells, but are you anywhere to be found, noooooooooooooooo," she said. Okay the last two days she had made sure he wasn't around, but for some reason she felt frustrated around him, not to mention the nightmares were starting to take its toll on her. Dayton couldn't stop Breanna as she began to hit him. He listened to her rant and bitch about everything, but he remained silent. What she didn't know is that he was facing flashbacks to hen he was a kid. To when he got caught using his abilities by his foster parents, and his 'father' at the time would beat and lecture him until he got the message to not do 'devilish acts'. When she hit him that last time though, something inside him snapped, and his eyes flared with anger. He grabbed her wrists and in the blink of an eye, he had the witch pinned to the nearest wall, her arms held to her back.
"You need to stop... Now," he growled. He didn't let go, but only stood there, his mouth next to Breanna's ear. "My business is my business. You don't like it, then tell me to get out, cause I'll be damned if I let another person I thought cared about me hit me relentlessly cause they don't like who I am and what I do..." He quickly let go of Breanna and stormed out of the room before he did something he knew he was going to regret later.

Breanna tried to get out of his grasp, but he was too strong for her. When he finally let her go and left, she huffed a couple of times, but this wasn't the end. She stormed after him. She'll ask why I didn't keep you on a leash. Do you know how hard it is to just get Bells to not go on one of her rampages?" Brea said and then she gave him another hit on the shoulder. Dayton stopped in his tracks when Breanna stopped in front of him. He avoided her eye contact, pretending there was something on the walls more interesting than her at the moment. But when she was done, he just rolled his eyes towards her gaze and replied, "Peachy keen, Mom. Anything else I can do for you?" Before she could answer he pushed her aside so that he could head towards the kitchen. Right now, he was beginning to regret leaving the club early, especially since the thought of a drink sounded good right now.
But before he looked for a drink, Dayton turned around and said, "You know, I'm not trying to make things difficult for you. But when you don't let me help, I get bored. And with Bells going off on her own thing, and me not having many friends, I get bored. So a girl or two helps me out on occasional nights. And it's not like you're wanting to sleep with me again anyways..." That last part accidentally slipped out, but Dayton didn't really care at this point.

Breanna moved after him as he headed for the kitchen, but hearing what he said, she came to a halt. Sounds came out of her mouth, but no actual words. "What so now it's MY fault. So if we did it on a regular basis you wouldn't go after other girls?" she asked and crossed her arms over her chest and looked at him with a slight disgruntled expression on her face. Letting out a slight snort. Now she needed a drink. So making sure to bump into Dayton as she walked past him. She steered straight for the fridge and found some vodka and what else she had stored up elsewhere in various cupboards. She wanted to get awfully drunk right now. "You are so full of yourself. You know that," she said and made a dangerous cocktail of various alcoholic drinks, spicing it up with some cola and downed half the glass and made a slight hissing noise.

Dayton growled a bit when Breanna bumped into him on purpose to get to the kitchen. But he followed suit and rather mixing his own little concoction, he just called dibs on the whiskey for himself and drank straight out of the bottle. "I'm full of myself?" he replied. "Hey, at least I don't get all high grounds around everyone. You make it sound like you're the only one working for Aya, and although it may seen that way, it's cause you make it that way. Always doing these curses and stuff on your own..." He took another couple chugs, unafflicted by the burning sensation down his throat.

Breanna downed the rest of the glass, which made her a bit sick because she had drunk it all pretty quickly, but after a couple of seconds it was over. Making another drink, she let out a huff. "Yeah, well I don't see you pulling yourself together and get them done. I've waited long enough. The DNA have been right there on the altar, but I didn't see you get them done when you had the chance," she said and gave him a evil look. "If you haven't noticed yet, then Aya isn't the most patient person in the world. And when she wants something done, she wants it done now," she said and grabbed a couple of bottles and headed back to the living room and made herself comfortable on the couch. "You could try and do something on your own accord, you knew the curses had to be done," she said and took a sip of her drink. She already felt a slight buzz to her head because of the speed she had been drinking her first drink in.

"It's not like I'm asking you to spill everything, I just wish you didn't have this wall up all the time....It's like you won't let anyone in, not even me," she said and looked at Dayton with a serious expression. She had calmed down a bit, but that was due to the alcohol though.

Dayton let out a sigh when Breanna said his old name again. To be honest, a part of him missed that old him too. But in his mind, that part of him was long gone. He looked up, and before finishing his bottle, he muttered, "It's hard to break a wall you built to be invincible..." It wasn't just to keep other out, but it was also to keep himself in and strong. Breanna has no idea what state he was in when he first left all alone. He felt weak and abandoned. It wasn't until after his foster parents decided to be violent did he take a step in fighting back, growing cold in the process. Cause if you don't care about anyone, if they leave you, it won't hurt him again.
He turned to Breanna and got up close to her, not threatening or anything, but his gaze kept hers. "You want that wall to go away, you better invest in a sledgehammer or something, or it's not going to go anywhere...".

Breanna got up from the couch and moved over to Dayton and without any warning, she simply wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. When she finally let go of him somewhat, she looked up at him. "I just wish you would let me in," she said and placed a hand on his cheek as she looked deeply into his eyes, hoping that she would find some sign of the old Patrick. Dayton didn't move or say anything as Breanna came up to him and spoke. Even though her words sounded honest and determined, he didn't feel that part of him was still around. If it was, it was locked away so far back, too scared to come out from the cold reality he's created for himself. "AnnaBell and I are close to the fact that we don't open up. "Why the sudden question about that?" she asked and looked at him with slight narrowed eyes. "If you plan any pranks, then I'm not drunk enough," she poked him playfully in his abdomen. Dayton raised an eyebrow to Breanna at her proposal. A drinking game would be fun, although Dayton doesn't like the deal if he were to lose. But, no one's ever been able to top his drinking skills, so why be afraid. "Alright, but if I win, no more pushing me about opening up. I get to on my own time, my own terms. Deal?" It sounded pretty fair to him, although he had a feeling Breanna wasn't going to like the deal at all. But hey, nothing's fun without bets and alcohol involved. Especially when these two are going at it.

Breanna looked at him for quite a while and it was clear that she wasn't too keen on what he wanted if he won. But then she reached out her hand and shook his. "It's a deal.....Cause you won't win," she said and smirked. Then she briefly vanished into the kitchen only to return with a small bread basket. She pushed the the coffee table away as it was easier if they did it on the floor. "Okay, you sit there," she said and pointed to a spot on the floor. She moved over to one of the book cases and found a stack of cards and some shot glass she had in a cupboard and moved back and took a seat next to Dayton. She took off her cardigan and lined the shot glasses up. She grabbed a bottle of vodka and started to pour it in. "I think you know the game," she said and looked at him. "The game is to get a card into the basket, if you miss you drink, if you get it in, I have to drink. The one who holds out the longest without passing out or throwing up wins. Okay," she said and looked at him to see if he had understood. Then she placed the deck of cards in front of them. The basket was in a pretty good distance away from them.

Dayton did as he was told and sat down and watched as Breanna set up the game as she spoke. "Yeah, I know this game," he answered. "Haven't lost a single game yet." He looked over and winked at Breanna before glancing over at the basket. It's one thing to play this game, but to already start it out intoxicated was a new factor he's yet to try. Well, no time like the present, right? He picked up a card, his eyes squinting at the basket as if he was aiming. But right as he was about to toss it, he turned and held the card out to Breanna. "Where are my manners... Ladies first."

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
