With the wedding fast approaching, to Sophia there still seemed a lot of things that needed to be done, at least the dresses had been sorted, which was the one thing that Sophia had been thinking would take the longest. Sat in one of the living rooms, Sophia was aware that Hayley was due at the Chateau soon, but that didn't stop her from falling asleep, the book that she had been reading falling from her hands. Sophia was feeling okay today, compared to the 12 hours that she had spent in bed yesterday, she just couldn't understand why she was still tired today, she was just glad that she hadn't been sick today, which was good because today her and Leo would be testing cakes, something that Sophia was really looking forward to. Having purposely not eaten all too much so that she would be able to try at least some of the cakes if not all of them. What with having to choose the dresses and everything, Sophia hadn't given too much thought to the cake, today she was however favouring chocolate cake, though with her moods swings and indecisiveness at the moment, it was highly likely that she would change her mind. Turning a little on the couch that she was lying on, Sophia tried to get comfortable though it proving rather difficult, on hand on her stomach, in an almost protective way.

Leo decided to head downstairs before the wedding planner came. Otherwise he would just get distracted by something and forget all about it. He found Sophia in one of the living rooms. He leaned against the door frame and looked at her for a second with a slight smile on his face. He still couldn't believe he was marrying her. "How is the future Mrs. Nóillión feeling?" he asked as he walked over to the couch and crouched down and gave her a kiss and gave her a wide smile. He kinda liked saying that Mrs. Nóillión, then he gave her another kiss before he got up and walked over to a chair near by and sat down, stretching a little. He had been planning with Leona the last couple of hours and he was beat. His eyes hurt due to constant staring at maps over the town. Where would it be best to meet an army. They had to try and prevent the vampires getting inside the town.

Sophia smiled and looked over to Leo when she felt him watching her. Sitting up a little, resting her back against the arm of the couch, Sophia looked over to Leo, smiling widely, her hand still resting on her stomach. "Just tired today... and hungry." she said with a little nod, her hand now rubbing her stomach. Sophia then lifted up her blouse a little, looking down to her stomach at her slightly rounded belly. At first look you couldn't actually tell that Sophia was pregnant, but Sophia could see the bump already, but she assumed that it was because she knew that she was pregnant, maybe she was just imagining it. "You'd better let me keep this cake down." she explained pointing at her skin, obviously talking to the baby, really meaning it, she'd like to be able to eat her own wedding cake, and if that wasn't to be the case, she would more than likely get upset.

Leo smiled a little as Sophia told the baby off. "Otherwise there'll be more for me," he said with a chuckle. Just then he heard the doorbell and he got up and headed out to open the door. When he opened it he saw a blond girl stand with several Tupperware boxes in her arms. "Miss Hasting I presume, let me take those. Please come in," he said and took the large boxes and moved away so the werewolf could step in and pushed the door shut with his foot before he led the way to the living room where Sophia was waiting. He placed the boxes on the coffee table and then properly shook Hayley's hand. "I'm Leo," he said and gave her a friendly smile.

Hayley had brought three boxes with cake samples, made into a kind of appetizer sizes, so you could hold them in your hand, it was easier to travel with not to mention there wouldn't go so much cake to waste. So she was slightly relieved with Leo took the boxes and carried them into a living room. She shook her hand and gave him a smile. Nice to finally meeting the groom, she said, before she turned her attention to Sophia and reached her hand towards her as well. Miss La Roux, she said and gave Sophia a smile. Now I've brought quite the selection so I don't hope you've had to large a lunch, she said before she dropped her back by the coffee table and started to unpack one of the boxes.

Now sitting properly on the couch, Sophia shook Hayley's hand, smiling back to her, before her eyes fell on the boxes of cakes that Leo had carried in. Reaching for Leo, Sophia smiled and shook her head to what Hayley had said. "I wanted to keep room for cake." she explained having to stop herself from licking her lips. Having already brought a couple of forks in from the kitchen, Sophia took one in her hand, watching as Hayley started emptying one of the boxes. Sophia was excited to be tasting cake today, it made it all seem more real, with the date fast approaching, then rubbing her stomach a little, Sophia was glad of the pang of hunger that she felt, making her think that she would keep the food down.

Leo took a seat next to Sophia, peaking interested into the box Hayley had opened. He sure hoped there was something he liked and that he and Sophia could agree on a cake. "Okay bring it along, so what do you have for us," he asked. He expected Hayley would explain what was in the cakes and such, although he could properly taste it anyway, yet he liked to know what he was eating. And as she started to take out the cakes and placed them on small paper plates he felt a sudden hunger rushing over him. They sure did look delicious. He noticed that part of the cakes were covered in purple icing and another set were partly covered with purple marzipan, so they would be able to get a full taste of how the cake would be if they chose to go with icing or with marzipan.

Hayley gave each of them a small paper plate with the first cake. This is a white vanilla cake with lemon mousse, she told them and observed them curiously as they tasted it, she had brought six different cakes, she had tried to take as many different cakes with her as possible, but yet not too many so the couple would end up more confused than settled after they had tasted them all. They hadn't come with certain ideas for a wedding cake, so she had brought the most popular ones with her.

Sophia smiled softly looking from Hayley to the cake as it was handed to her. Normally Sophia wasn't a fan of lemon in any way shape or form, but she thought that she may as give it a try, she may even like it, considering that at the moment she wasn't really eating normally at the moment. Loading her fork with cake, Sophia glanced briefly to Leo before biting the cake off the fork, chewing it thoughtfully, trying to taste it as much as possible, though trying not to think about it too much. "I like the cake part, I'm not so keen on the whole Lemon mousse thing though... but then I may not be eating that much, what do you think sweetie?" Sophia asked taking another bite of the cake, seeing if she liked it better a second time around, which she didn't.

Leo tasted the cake and chew thoughtfully. He on the other hand liked the lemon mousse. As long the actual cake wasn't in a lemon flavour he didn't mind it, so that it was a vanilla cake with lemon mousse in the middle was perfect. "I like this one," he said rather diplomatically, but he would like to taste the others before he would give a final verdict though. So when Hayley gave them the next cake which was a dark chocolate cake with orange mousse he took a bite of it and once again chewed thoughtfully. He wasn't much for chocolate cake to be honest. "It tastes all right, I'm just not the big chocolate cake fan," he said and looked at Sophia to hear what she thought.

Taking the next cake, Sophia looked at it for a minute, it looked nice but Sophia was a little hesitant to try this one, and she didn't know why. Either way, Sophia took her fork and took a bite, trying not to screw her face up too much as she chewed it. Well there was another thing that she had since gone of since falling pregnant. Sighing a little, Sophia placed the plate down on the coffee table before putting on a smile and looking to some of the other cakes. "Well I had wanted chocolate, but so far I do like that one better." she explained pointing to the first cake that they had tried, before turning to look at Leo a little, smiling softly. Sophia then turned her attention back up to Hayley, wondering which type of cake she would get to try next.

When Hayley gave them the next cake she explained it was a white chocolate cake with strawberry mousse. Leo took a bite and he thought he had died and gone to heaven. "Oh my god this is good," he exclaimed. He actually wouldn't have shown too much enthusiastic about any of the cakes, at least not yet, but that third one simply did it for him. Of course there were still three more cakes to go, but so far that was his favourite, even if it was chocolate. He took another bite, just to taste it again and he closed his eyes. The sweetness with the freshness of the strawberry mousse simply complemented each other so well according to him.

Taking the next plate, Sophia waited until Leo had tasted it before she even thought about trying it, it wasn't that Sophia didn't want to try the cake, she just didn't want to push her stomach too much, not wanting to throw up, she just wanted to go one day where she didn't have to bend over the toilet. Smiling a little as Leo explained how much he liked this cake, Sophia then loaded a bit onto her fork, cautiously putting it into her mouth, chewing it slowly, determining whether or not she liked it enough for the big day. "I like the strawberry mousse, I'm not to sure for the white chocolate though." she explained looking to Leo before she took another taste of the cake, finding that she liked it a little better a second time around. It was true that Sophia liked the combination of the strawberry and white chocolate, and the more she tried the more that she liked it. "Maybe we should try some more before we decide." she explained reaching a hand up to Leo's face, stroking her thumb down his cheek, though Sophia wanted to get everything sorted as soon as possible, she wanted to try all of the cakes, just to make certain that they picked one that they liked.

Hayley explained that the fourth cake was a white vanilla cake with fresh strawberries between the layers. Leo took a bite and chewed thoughtfully, it wasn't bad, it reminded him a bit of the cake the cook the family had when he was child baked when he was a kid. It didn't quite have the same sweet and fresh to it as the prevous cake, it led his thoughts more over to a summer day. He smiled a little as he took another bite. "What else," he asked after they had tasted the fourth one. The fifth cake a white vanilla cake with mango and orange, Hayley explained. Leo raised an eyebrow over that combination and looked at Sophia for a second before he tried the cake. "Well it tastes differently. Maybe if we got married on Hawaii or something this would fit better. I like it, sort of, but I'm just not sure it'll quite fit in here," Leo said and tried another bite. Then he shook his head, it wasn't that he didn't like it, it just brought his mind to a beach and Hawaii on his mind. When the sixth and last cake was presented, Hayley said it was a chocolate cake with mocha mousse. Again not one of Leo's favourites, he liked the mousse, but the cake wasn't him. Apparently he was more for white chocolate than the dark. "I don't know, what do you think?" Leo asked and made a gesture to the cakes.

Once they had tried all six cakes, Sophia leaned back on the sofa a little, looking thoughtful. She most definitely hadn't liked that last two cakes, even though she had only tried small amounts of each, the combinations were all wrong, not to mention the fact that she was feeling a little nauseous what with all the different taste sensations going on in her mouth. Still leaning with her back against the couch, Sophia looked to Leo a little. "At the moment I'm torn between the Vanilla and Lemon mousse and the White chocolate and Strawberry mousse... the other ones were just a little too heavy, I'd prefer the strawberry one for the actual day." she explained smiling sweetly to Leo, brushing a hand down his back.

Leo had to be honest he liked the white chocolate cake the best, but the lemon wasn't that bad either. "Well the white chocolate cake is still my favourite, but if you want the lemon one, we can take that," he said, all he wanted was for Sophia to have a great day and if that implied a white vanilla cake with lemon mousse then that would be the cake. He knew he was being a totally guy right now, he didn't mind the tasting part, but when it came down to the final decision he simply wanted what made Sophia happy.

Sitting up a little, Sophia frowned a little, she had been hoping Leo would make a decision based on the fact that he seemed to like the white chocolate one better, but seeing that he was going to leave it all down to her, she scratched the back of her head a little. The problem was that Sophia liked both of the cakes, and she was being completely indecisive at the moment. "We'll go for the white chocolate and strawberry mousse... but I don't want marzipan on it, I can't stand marzipan." she explained looking up to Hayley smiling softly, Sophia had never been a fan of marzipan and even if Leo had wanted it, Sophia wouldn't be having it on her cake, she would be putting her foot down about it too, just like she had been with Leona in the dress shop, she was going to be stubborn about it. "Would you like to take a tour of the chateau, scope the layout a little?" she asked looking to Hayley smiling softly. Though Sophia was getting tired again, she wanted to get as much done as possible today, to less the stress on her mind.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.


New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.
