zack was at the waterfall. more so the top party near the mountain. he was bathing in the sunlight looking down at the forest site below him. he was standing on a rock in the middle of a rushing river with continued into a waterfall till it hit a basin. he was wearing a grin he looked towards the sun. he blocked the gleam from his eyes by placing his hand over his eyes. he turned around.and took a few deep breaths. when a large gust of wind sped by he hyper jumped and soon was falling right behind him there was a waterfall his back was towards it. as he fell he was thinking about most of his memories. he could feel his adrenaline pump as his heart started to speed up. he made a smirk, the adrenaline was ecstasy to him.

Raine smiled to herself as she trekked through the woods of the mountain. She had a thick pair of Ray Ban's around her eyes and she had worn a red t-shirt and a pair of holey jeans and her converse sneakers. She had her pastels and charcoal pencils in her backpack as she walked towards the sound of rushing water. She broke the tree line just as she watched someone jump from the ledge over the waterfall. Raine surpressed a shriek, remembering that this was the kind of things that people did these days for fun. She was careful about picking her way down to the lower part of the falls where she would have the best view of the falls. She glanced every now and then at the diver's progress as he hit the water. She took her backpack off and started rummaging around for her pad and her favorite pencil. She looked for a place to sit that would give the diver enough privacy and her a good enough view of the waterfall.

as zack fell he went through a few thoughts.
"why does everything have to be good or evil, i rather see the world in color than black and white. as he fell into the water he drifted deeper. with his eyes only half open as the current sped past him he dove deeper slowly. "am i a flower of hell?" he thought to himself.as he swam even deeper. once at the bottom of the large basin.he placed his hand near the bottom of the basin and now stood on his feet on the bottom. he raised his arm up ward and placed his hands close together and soon a flowing ed energy flowed through him to his hands small orb of lightning was made by his hyper mind. it was not actually lightning it just looked like it.

soon flashes of red light could be seen rising from the water as he held his breath for over 3minutes or maybe more. he was about to lose his breath but he felt like this sensation was right.

Raine looked up in surprise at the flashes of light that passed across the water. She was getting a little worried for the boy in the water since he hadn't been up for air for nearly three minutes yet. She had started a sketch of the waterfall and the water that rushed past the rocks around it. She was tempted to walk over to the pool to make sure the boy wasn't dead. Raine tried not to worry, but it was in her nature to do so. She couldn't even concentrate on her trees that she was trying to draw around the waterfall. She finally had to set down the sketch pad and walk catiously over to the edge of the basin and pray that she didn't see a dead body. The lights still danced in the water, beckoning her closer.

zacharias started to close his eyes. "i can't give up. not know" he thought to himself. soon the orb between his hands got bigger , second by second it grew. he made a smile. soon the orb was larger then him. he was now engulfed in the red light. from the top of the basin he could be seen within the light. the red light started to fill the basin and illuminate it. "i will show every one how much color my hopes have" he thought to himself. the red started to get darker. now there could be sparks of what seemed to be lightning at the edge of the basin. when he couldn't hold on any longer. he gave up and gasped for air. the red orb turned into a laser and shot out of the water and into the sky where it dissipated. the sixteen year old boy was now floating to the surface and from the force of the stream he ended up against the shore and coughing his lungs out to get the water out. as he gripped onto the ground to resist being pulled back into the water.

Raine couldn't help the gasp that escaped her lungs as the boy was engulfed in the red light. She could feel the electricity crackling in the air around the water. She backed up as the boy came surging out of the water. She could hear his gasps for breath as he choked on the water in his lungs. Raine reacted before she could think, helping the boy haul himself the rest of the way out of the water. She placed a gentle hand on his back and let his inflamed lungs be transfered to herself. She felt a cough building in her lungs but she held it down. Raine backed up a safe distance, she could feel the magic in the air that wasn't hers. She didn't know who this boy was but he was very powerful. Raine took a deep breath, she could feel her lungs burning from lack of oxygen, but they were healing quickly.

zacharias saw some one help him. when she touched him his intuitive aptitude activated. when he felt her take away his wound he looked surprised but he used he copied her ability and took it back. he was starting to cough again. "please don't take away my pain and wounds again" he asked as he coughed. he was taking the pain as it came with out using her nuerokinesis to lower the pain down. he did not like the idea of people sparing him or showing him pity, he felt that pain was a big thing that should be valued. he watched the water come out as he choked it out. he then sat down on the ground. "thanks for pulling me out." he gasped out a he adjust his lungs.. he suddenly got the water out of his system and took a few deep breaths. he started to get comfortable with the air around him as he took deep breaths. he started to laugh a little. "did you see what i did?" he said with a smile he was happy he was able to use hyper mind the way he did.

Raine could feel her abilities being copied and reused as he took his inflamed lungs back. The sudden feel of cool air in an undamaged lungs was so startling that Raine had to cough anyway. She slid down to the ground with crossed legs gracefully in front of the boy, her sketch pad back in hand. "I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. I didn't mean to tamper with anything." she looked down at the dirt embarrassed. If Raine could have blushed she would have been beet red by now. She only fidgeted more when he thanked her. But when he asked if she had seen his water tricks she looked up and smiled a tiny bit. "I did. It was beautiful." Raine looked down at the beginnings of the sketch she had made and dug for her pastels. She used her colors to create a vibrant picture of what she saw in the water and trees and mountain. She set her pad aside and offered her hand to the boy. "I'm sorry I'm being rude. My name is Raine. It's nice to meet you," she said sincerely.

zacharias looked up at her, he began to observe her. he could sense she was a magical vampire, he had not met one of those before so he was slightly surprise. he looked up at her. "you are noble for your attempt, but i choose to value my pain, its really important to me, thanks for the good intentions though" he said before took her hand and shook. she looked pretty and kind, she reminded him a lot of louisa. he closed his eyes as he felt the wind blow past him. "my name is zacharias grimm, its my pleasure to meet you and hear such a compliment of the product of my insanity" he looked back to her, she looked 16 so he assumed she went to school. "what school do you go to? i go to hills private boarding" he asked trying to find out if she was a fellow student. he had been smiling ever since he was choking.

Raine nodded at his response to her apology for healing his wounds. She tried not to feel too offended by that. She respected that he wanted the pain. She picked her sketch pad back up and looked up at the falls, letting her fingers once again take control of the page. "Oh, I don't go to school at the moment. I have thought about it though. It's been a good decade or so since I've been to a highschool..." Raine trailed off in embarrassment. She tried to stay up to date on all the latest school but as of late she had been slacking a little too much. She sighed and tore the page out and folded it. Raine set it aside and started a new sketch keeping her hands busy. "I apologize, I'm not much fun to be around, you see. All I do is draw all day." She smiled up at him sadly.

zack looked up at her curiously. he could understand why she thought she was boring. "i can see why you say that but think about it, you are all alone with that thing entertaining yourself by yourself, its like a hand held video game console and the different areas are different game cartridges" he said before he started to watch. "maybe i should pose and play model" he said before standing up and doing a funny pose of the thinker. "any way you can't tell me you only do art all day, don't you do spells and hunt animal? i mean you are like me right? i have gotta say i have never met a vampire witch, i have befriended a werewolf warlock but nothing rare like you " he asked wondering if she sensed his magic yet. the girl surprised when ever he thought of a supernatural magic creatures he thought of raker. this girl was his opposite completely though.

Raine couldn't help but smile at his analogy of art to video games. She set her sketch pad aside and looked up at him from where she sat. "Well yes I do hunt, and sleep, and sometimes I even watch TV." Raine laughed softly. "I'm a normal vampire. I don't particularly like sunlight, I need blood, I don't have to breathe if I don't want to. All the usual stuff. I just happen to be able to shift peoples' wounds and their pain and access their emotions. My family had a long line of female witches, and no one expected to be turned so we didn't know this would happen." She sighed. Sometimes she wished that she could just be one or the other. It freaked a lot of people out.... especially Cain. She wished for his sake she could have been human. All her condition did was confuse and hurt people and but them in danger. She loved her brother, but sometimes she wished he hadn't ask this of her.

zacharias listened to her speak. he ooked down wards when she spoke of family. "my parents wanted me to have stronger abilities, the ability of projection or elemental generation. when they planted the seed the put much hope into it, when it sprouted it was a flower completely different then expected, they neglected it and never spoke to it, they gave it water and sunlight and nutrients but that was all. the flower has decided that it may be a flower of hell, but it will grow tall enough till the heavens take notice of its petals" he said before looking back to raine. "my ability lets me learn and copy with great speed, my other one allows me to change in twisted ways and deny all kindness and mental penetration along with fear it even denies your access to emotions, my last ability gives me power in my body, it lets me be stronger and faster than even immortals. and in exchange i cannot turn them off" he said before looking at the sky with a frown.his abilities have always cauused him problems so he was used to playing alone where ever he went. the boy now seemed slightly depressed but thats what happened when he spoke of himself. he sorta crouched up and grabbed his knees.

Raine really felt for Zack. It was hard being an oddity among all of the other strange things. It just applified your differences. She ran and idle and around in the sandy ground in front of her drawing intricate pictures without even really thinking of it. "Sometimes..... Sometimes I wish my brother had just let me live out my life like a normal human. I don't think I'll ever be cut out for this lifestyle. Hurting others isn't in my nature. That's why I refuse to hunt humans. I have a hard enough time killing a rabbit." Raine was really glad she couldn't turn bright red right then. She let out a heavy sigh. "So I guess we're both rejects in our respective species. It's nice though. I never really had anyone to talk to who got what this is like...." Raine hadn't really had a choice in being changed, it was either Gabriel or Dante who was going to turn her so she had chose the lesser of the two evils, but in the end it was her brother who had suffered for that decision. He must have know that if she had become Dante's toy it would have broken her beyond repair. It bothered Raine a little that her brothers were always protecting her, always stronger and able to handle the things she couldn't.
