Age
If you haven’t noticed it yet, then you have to be at least 13 years old to be member in here. If you’re not, then please delete your account. We are sorry about that, but we are merely enforcing it, but you can read about it in vForum’s terms of service.
Cursing
Can be accepted in minor dosage as long you don’t go overboard with it, and don’t direct it at anyone.
OOC
No fighting in the ooc boards.
Respect
This is one of the main rules! Everyone wants to be treated with respect that especially includes us. We won’t allow any disrespect to me or any of the members of this site. You have a problem with someone? Then PM me (Susie), Serena (Kat) or Mili (Tara) and we’ll see what we can do. Don’t mess with any of the staff and no back-talking. You will be banned. It doesn’t take too much to get me mad, so let’s just listen to this, shall we?
Staff
Listen to all of the staff members. If I hear from any of the staff members that someone is going up against them or not listening then that member will immediately be issued a warning. All staff members are different, act differently, and also use their powers in different ways and levels, no matter what they do, however, you must still listen to them. If you have a problem with an Admin, and we mean a literal and actual serious problem, then send a PM to me, Aine or Serena.
Crowding
No double-posts. It crowds up the boards and simply wastes space, wait until another member has posted before posting again or modify your post if you want to add something.
Accounts
You may have one character per account and as many accounts as you can keep alive. When you’ve first made a character then you’re stuck with it. If you delete your account on various reasons you can’t apply for a character until a month after you’ve deleted your account. If you delete a character that’s in the middle of RP with other members you ruin it for them. So you can see it as a penalty for deleting the account. Unless you’re leaving you’re not allowed to delete your account without permission from Leona, Serena or Tara. If you kill off your character, you have to wait one month before you can make a new one. You can’t make a new character on the old account; you have to make a new account for that. We strongly advice NOT to kill off your character just to make a new one, but please ask one of the staff before doing so.
DO NOT give your accounts to other people, no matter if you know them or not. You need permission from the webmaster (me) and if I agree to it, then I will do what is needed as both birth, email and password has to be changed. If you do it without my permission you will be given a strong warning and the account that's been given away will be closed.
Advertising
The only place you can advertise is in the advertising board. Please read the rules for that in the board. We do not accept advertising on sites that are not RP sites. Do NOT put up links in your sig, if you want to show off your website then add it to the homepage area in your profile. If the site you are linking to is trying to sell something or in any way tries to change people's perception in any way you will be banned. We accept your own personal website as long it's not trying to enforce anything on the person who watches it, RP forum (PG13), devianart site, fanfiction and such is fully allowed.
God Modding
Is NOT allowed. Nobody is perfect and this includes you. If your character has an ability then make sure there are some down sides about this ability.
Power Playing
Is NOT allowed. This is one of my personal pet peeves, so don’t do it. Do it more than once and you will be in serious trouble.
Posts
We don’t ask much in this area, as long you make a little bit of effort into your posts, write in readable English, which means you don’t use chat words like luv u, 4U etc., it’s not everyone who’s into that. Write at least five lines, which mean full five lines, not four lines and then three or four words on the fifth. It has to be minimum full five lines, we like a good story around here, so put an effort into the story and what you’re writing. Keep the posts clean and sober, this is a PG13 forum, which means keep it low on the violence. No sexual activities must take place, it is allowed to write up to a such event, but no detail and end the thread nicely or jump to afterwards, this doesn’t mean we want to see a lot of action. Kissing is fully acceptable and slight fooling around as long it’s clean. Write in third person (Ex. She walked away from him with tears in her eyes, CORRECT! I walked away from him with tears in my eyes, WRONG!)
Fair Play
You can kill other people’s characters as long they have agreed to it. Don’t attack other characters unless they are cool with it, which slightly lingers under the god modding and power playing rule, so none of that. Play fair and plot with the other members, if they are not interested in your ideas then respect that, they can either change their minds or got other ideas for their characters. Don’t leave people behind in threads. It gets tiring to have to read all that, plus they’ll feel left out. Don’t do over ten posts without them. This way they’re not so far behind, and it’s easier for them to rejoin the post.
RP Boards
Are for role-playing only, so NO OOC posts are allowed. If there’s something that has to be cleared out for the other members, you can write it in your RP posts, but keep it simple. It’s not what the RP boards are for.
Characters
This is a forum about vampires, werewolves, humans, witches, warlocks and slayers, so don’t start to include other creatures and beings in your role-play, it can quickly become confusing for the other members. So stick to the races mentioned above and nothing else. So no mention of monsters, familiars, shape shifters, demons etc. Please try and make your character’s personality match what you put in your application. Like, if you said your character was shy, he/she couldn’t just automatically be big, brave and though when a stranger made them mad. Don’t go on and on about how beautiful your character is. This gets annoying to read and people won’t like you. IF your character is beautiful that’s fine, post it once or twice and then that’s it.
You can put your character up for adoption either because you're leaving or can't keep the character alive, but don't want to see it get deleted. Please contact the webmaster if that's the case, you can't just give your character to another person as the account has to be changed (due to safety and possible misunderstandings there can appear)
Avatars
Are max. 110x150 - Anything bigger and the avie will be removed, done twice and you'll be given a warning
Signatures and thread banners
Are max. 500x250 (500 px. Width and 250 px. High)
Characters
Don’t use anime or cartoon characters for your character’s pictures. It has to be a celebrity and not mentioned on the Face Claim list, you can find the list under links to your right.
Other images
Are max. 500x500. unless something else is stated by one of the admins in threads and boards.
PG13
Keep the images clean and sober. We don’t want to see any pornographic images or videos on this site. If you do, we’ll ban you, no chances and no questions asked.
These rules can be changed when sees fit. So make sure to keep yourself updated
