Lillian was sitting at a table with a glass of red wine listening to the smooth jazz that the band was playing. Her eyes were closed as her index finger of her left hand traced the rim of her glass. This music was soothing to her soul. Things had been hectic with Bonnie's wedding but now that it had long passed she could relax. The Jazz House was the perfect spot for her to just chill out. The piece that was currently playing seemed sort of sensual to her. Opening her eyes she noticed the couples dancing slowly to the music and small hint of a smile appeared on her face. Taking a sip of her wine Lillian sank deeper into her chair and let out a soft sigh.

Once again the plague of tension was roaming the halls of the Chateau. The air practically suffocated of it that Artemys couldn’t take it. And now having a daughter to take care of along with Head Lady duties… There was not an ounce of regret in taking in the young vampire nor her decision to accept Lenard’s offer to move in with him. Right now she just needed some alone time. So after putting down Kaylee to bed and making sure Celia or at least one of the maids would check up on her, she made her way down to the Jazz House feeling that the place was good to relax at. Right now she was just entering in and as she was letting her mismatched eyes scan around for an empty table, she surprisingly spotted Lillian by herself and here of all places. She didn’t spend much time with the youngest of the Noillion siblings despite living in the same household as her let alone the same wing. Perhaps now was a good time to do so. Approaching the woman’s table, she offered her a slight smile and a wave. "Evening Lilly. Didn’t expect to see you here. And to think we live under the same roof." She chuckled lightly before looking thoughtful. "Mind if I sit with you?" If for whatever reason Lilly did mind then it wasn't a problem to find herself another table or spot. She figured company was always better in the end.

Lillian looked up from her glass and eyed the Head Lady for a second. They lived under the same roof since Lenard had asked Artemys to move in but Lillian hardly ever saw any of her since Lilly tended to keep to herself. Tension plagued the chateau and Lillian saw it as best to just keep out of all the trouble. "Sure." Lilly answered as she gestured to a seat at her table. When the Head Lady sat down Lillian finished off her glass of wine and moved the glass to the edge of a table so someone could come and get it. "Had to get out of Chateau for a bit too?" Lillian asked with a small smile as she sat up in her chari in a more appropriate manner.

Artemys smiled with a brief nod as her request was heeded to. Gently settling herself at the table, she let out a slight sigh as she picked up a small menu to see if she wanted anything. In hearing Lillian’s question, she brought her attention over to the woman and once again nodded carefully in reply with a slight hesitant smile. "Yes… No offense but it doesn’t take an empath or telepath to know when there’s tension brewing." Sure she technically wasn’t family but she did live with the Noillions. It didn’t help much either that the entire vampire coven was practically made up of the family aside from her, the Head Lady, although she herself was dating a Noillion. "I can see why you’d run off to the Jazz House. It’s a nice place to get away from things." She smiled as she brought her eyes on the band playing at the moment.
