Current Look

Liv was laying on the forest flower looking up through the branches and leaves at the sunshine that filtered through. She had just had an apple as a snack so now she was just relaxing and enjoying the nature around her. She could hear the sounds of a rabbit running through the underbrush and the birds singing in the tress. Her dark hair was splayed out around her and the sunlight put a sparkle in her eyes. Liv took deep relaxing breaths as she moved her arms through the leaves and grass, she didn't care if she would get dirty from laying on the ground....she was relaxed and thats all that matter to her at the moment. Her eyes closed as she just listened to all the sounds around, images of her family floating her mind....she missed them terribly but she had to get away from her home town, away from then to make a life for her own. Liv had started out in New York but she hadn't liked the busy city scene so now she was in this town. Her thoughts kept wondering back to her family and she couldn't help but feel a little blue. She could make out the sounds of someone approaching but she didn't move a muscle.

It is so hard to believe because it is so hard to obey.

The black wolf walked cautiously through the forest, it had been chasing some birds and was now trying to pick up their scent again. But as a sudden breeze emerged he caught the scent of something else, a female and a werewolf. He padded through the leaves towards the woman, just before he became visible he shifted into his human form. He hadn't really been talking to many people in town since he got there, well he had learned some of the police men down at the station and then the guys at the garage where he worked, but other than that he had tried not to make new acquaintances, after all he was currently trying not get into trouble although it was hard, but his sister was pretty much the only one who could make him feel guilty.
"Rough around the edges but a tender center. This is my wild forest flower. Short and slender with long flowing blond hair. This is my wild forest flower. A loving heart that goes beyond what I can see. This is my wild forest flower," Jackson recited as he saw the woman lay on the ground. Even though her hair wasn't blond, then he couldn't help but think of that poem. Even though Jackson was a high school drop out, he loved to read, he was especially interested in philosophy, but poetry and anything regarding a book could be used. He leaned up against a tree as his eyes fell on the woman, she was pretty, he folded his arms before he looked at his surroundings. He had never understood why you had to go to school, when you could learn everything that had to be learned out in the real life, but he did respect his sister's form of life, school and work, but he wasn't much for sitting inside a whole day listening to a teacher preach about this and that.
"Spring has finally come to Carpe Noctum," he said, his voice was deep and soft and his dark eyes fell back on the woman, who ever she was.

Liv heard the voice reciting something but she didn't say anything, her eyes stayed closed and she took in a breath catching the scent of the male werewolf. When he said spring had finally come she smiled and turned over onto her stomach to look at him. Her hair falling over her left shoulder as she looked up into his eyes. "I'm glad it has arrived, I never really cared for winter that much. Spring is such a lovely time of the year." she said. Looking the male over she noticed that he wasn't that old, probably still in high school. Turning back onto her back she laid down and looked back through the trees. "It's great out here. Very relaxing." she said more to herself than him.

It is so hard to believe because it is so hard to obey.

Jackson looked at the woman as she spoke and he nodded, before he turned his attention to the trees and the beauty of the forest.
"Spring promise new beginnings, hope and love. It's just there for us to take the chance, jump into new waters, experience new places, meet new people," Jackson said and looked back at the woman. He took a seat by the tree he had been leaning up against and rested his back against it, he bend his knees and hugged them with his arms resting his head on the knees.
"I'm Jackson by the way, but people call me Jack," he said and sent the woman a smile, there was something soothing over her, not entirely sure what it was.
"So is this just a relaxing forest adventure or a more pondering over life decisions, cause I don't want to interrupt anything," Jackson said, he truly didn't want to be in the way if the woman needed to have her minds to herself and wanted to have some alone time, even if he had taken a seat by a tree.

"I'm Liv..... just Liv." she said before growing silent, there wasn't much you could do to her name by means of a nickname. She sat up and scooted across the ground to the same tree, leaning back against it beside him. "You certainly weren't interrupting anything. I'm just out here to be out here.... your interruption is actually quite great and welcoming." she said as she looked over at him and smiled. Silence overtook her again as she let her head fall back against the tree and her eyes slowly close. A small chuckled escaped from her as she looked back over to Jackson "I'm going to feel like a hippie when I say this but I feel like I'm at peace with my inner self when I'm out here....ya know?" she asked.

It is so hard to believe because it is so hard to obey.

Jackson looked at Liv, but he didn't laugh at her remark about being hippie for saying what she said.
"We all have our personal spots where we can find tranquility, some find it in the forest, others on the beach, some in a Buddhist temple, some prefer a nightclub," Jackson said and looked thoughtful into the air.
"I find it when I'm fixing a car or a motorcycle that's where I can find peace," he said and turned his head back towards Liv and gave her a smile. It was very uncommon for a guy at his age being this insightful, but he wasn't an ordinary 18 year old, even though he didn't go to school anymore that didn't mean he didn't study or read about things. He had just chosen not to do it in school, but when he felt like it. In fact he had read more books in the last year than he had done during his high school years that reminded him of he should visit the library soon, he needed a fresh stash of books he could go through, maybe he should take them from one end and then eat through the whole library that could be fun, he thought.
"Liv, did you know that means life in Danish? It's actually used as a girl's name in Denmark as well," Jackson said, gave Liv a smile, he had been studying up on his geography and he had gotten quite fascinated with Denmark in particular, for a small country they had a lot of history.

"Hmm..... no I didn't know that. That is rather interesting to know what my name means in another place." she said as she gave Jackson a smile. He seemed to be pretty smart, even for his young age. "So you like to fix cars and motorcycles..... Is that hard to do? I mean to me it seems like it would be complicated but that is mainly because I don't know which part is what on an engine and I have never really been good at the mechanical things." she said, sort of babbling before shutting herself up and looking at the ground. She picked up a leaf and twisted it between her fingers. She had two places where she found peace, the kitchen and the forest.

Jackson couldn't help but chuckle of Liv's waterfall of words.
"Well it's not hard when you know the difference from the various parts. I've always loved working with my hands, more than going to school. My uncle had a garage that I used to visit when I was younger," Jackson said and placed his chin on top of his knees while hugging them.
"I hated school, I don't mind learning, but it's the whole idea about school that I don't like. So I dropped out last year, only a couple of months before graduation. I know it was foolish done, but I just couldn't do it anymore, I needed air," he said and turned his head and looked at Liv.
"I also find peace when I read that and then when I'm working at the garage," Jackson said, gave Liv a smile.

"I find peace when I am cooking or just when I come out here and wander around." she told Jack. She had been meaning to go the beach side cafe to apply for a job there as a chef, or at the fancy resteraunt she had noticed on her way into town. She needed to find a job and quick because she was beginning to run out of money, but now was not the time to think of that. She had come out here to relax and not think about the stressful things of life. Dropping the leaf she watched it fall to the ground. "Yea dropping out of school probably wasn't the greatest idea ever but it is a decision that you made and you are doing just fine with that decision. It is difficult these days to find a great job with no high school diploma but I think you could certainly make it." she said, she didn't want it to sound like she was lecturing him but she felt like thats what she was doing.

Jackson chuckled a little.
"Yeah, well my sister has been trying to finish high school, but I just can't get myself to do it, who knows maybe in a couple of years I'll change my mind and get it done, but now not so much," Jackson said and looked at Liv.
"You know, you remind me a lot of my sister, you sure sound like her," he said and sent her a smile, maybe that was why he enjoyed sitting here and talking to this stranger of a woman, whom he had only just met.
"Now she's a school girl, she's going to medical school when she's not working down at the medical center and she's lecturing to me almost every day how important school is and I can't become what I want to be if I don't have a college degree and what's not. But the fact is, I want to be a mechanic, I'm good at it and I do my job, so.....," Jackson said, looked straight ahead, he noticed a deer behind some branches, it stopped at looked around before it ran away. For a second Jackson thought of running after it, but he let it be, at least this time.

"I remind you of your sister....I guess that is a good thing because from the way you describe her she seems like a great person." she said. Her gaze followed his and she saw the deer, a smile appearing on her face as it turned and ran away. On any other day she would have given chase, not to catch it but just for the thrill of the chase but today she didn't want to move. "So if I ever need a mechanic I'm going to look you up. You wouldn't mess anything up." she said with a smile. "In ways you remind me a lot of my brother, rebellious, hard headed, yet very intelligent." she added. She would like to hang around this kid more, it would get rid of some of the pain she felt about not being around her family.

"She is, she raised me since our parents died when I was 14. She's the only one who can really make me feel guilty for not finishing school, but I love her and I wish I could be what she wants me to be, but I can't change myself, this is who I am, but I can see her point of view," Jackson said and looked at Liv. When she mentioned that he reminded of her brother, he couldn't help but smile.
"I would love to meet him sometime, he sounds like a cool guy," he said and sent her a smile, before he turned his attention to what was in front of him, nothing but trees. Liv was so much more different than Hex, Liv was calm and the total opposite of Hex, but Jackson of course didn't see Liv as nothing but a possible friend, a second sister perhaps. Just like he in some ways looked at Alex as the big brother he never had, he seriously had to look him up at some point apologize for what happened at the cemetery, he liked Alex, he was a cool guy, down to earth and easy to talk to, but what could he do, he couldn't stand when people started lecturing him of what was right and wrong, what was acceptable and what wasn't.
