Because it was Thursday, the shops were open later than usual, so both Maggie and Meg thought that they would take a hike to the mall and have some fun buying random clothes. They had plenty of money, since both of them hardly ever spent any of their earnings. Looking rather girlie, they both rocked up at the mall and joyfully bounced their way through the automatic doors. Ever since the reminder of Disney movies and singing at the beach not too long ago, Maggie had been in a great singing mood. "I've got a golden ticket...I've got a golden twinkle in my eye..." She joyfully linked arms with Meg and spun around in a circle. "Wooh! I don't know where to start.." She giggled.

Meg and Maggie had been joyful the whole time they had decided to set off to the mall. After they entered the massive building, she watched as Maggie started singing a song from the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. "How come you are always singing?" She asked chuckling. "You're so funny." Meg started to have a laughing fit, because the accent that Mags had used to sing it, was just ridiculous. Then when she said that she didn't know where to start, she looked around, of course, her eyes fell on the first shop, which was a clothes one. "The first shop of course." Meg said, then took Maggie's hand and led her off to the first shop.

When she was asked why she was always singing, Maggie paused and pressed her lips together. "Because I like it, and it's very uplifting for me." She shrugged, then took Meg's hand as she was led over to a clothes shop, which was basically the first shop right at the entrance. When in the shop, she looked around at all of the tops and mini shorts and jackets. "I like this shop already.." Maggie admitted before letting go of Meg's hand and shuffling through some of the clothing racks. The shop was pretty much crowded, but somehow it didn't really bother her, because the shop was filled with nice people that moved around quickly and didn't dawdle. Holding a mini skirt in her hands, she examined it, then held it up to her waist. "Awww cool.." She said.

Meg also looked around at all the clothes before letting go of Maggie's hand and wondering off to find something that appealed to her. Picking up a pair of sunnies, she fiddled with them, then put them on and checked herself out in the small mirror, pulling faces. Meg turned around though when she heard Maggie, with that, she put the sunnies back casually and walked over to her friend who was checking out a mini skirt. "Ohhh...I think it suits you Mags. Though, hardly anything doesn't suit you.." She complimented while smiling sweetly. "Whatever you do, today is one of those days where are aren't allowed to feel pressured about the price, don't worry about how much it is." Meg suggested.

When Meg approached and claimed that the skirt suited her, she smiled and tilted her head to the side. But when she added on the other compliment, she grinned. "Awww. Thanks.." She glanced around a little embarrassed. Maggie lifted up the black tight-looking skirt and smiled. "I bet I'll look like some sort of secret agent or something with this on. I know the size fits me, I have similar ones at home..." She said, then shot a look at Meg as if to say, 'bugger it'. "I'm gonna' get it." Maggie didn't waste time with bounding over to the counter and waited in line so that she could pay for her skirt.

"Awesome stuff!" Meg exclaimed when Mags said that she was going to buy it. Since she wasn't really interested in any clothes in the shop, she followed Maggie over to wait in line with her. After she had paid for it, Meg took a hold of her friend's hand once again and led her out of the shop and into an accessory one this time. "Now this shop is more like it..." She said to herself before rummaging through all the jingly bangles and necklaces that were in a discount pile, but then she reverted to looking at the more expensive accessories that were all hanging up on mini hooks. Taking a look at the friendship bracelets and necklaces, she looked to the one that she was wearing around her wrist already, then looked at the matching one that belonged to Maggie. "I don't think we'll ever get new friendship bracelets." She said with a friendly smile, then went back to looking around.

Happy with her purchase, she entered another shop that specialised in accessories. Watching as Meg rifled around through things, then moved to the jewellery on the small hooks, she smiled softly when she said that they wouldn't get new friendship bracelets. "I agree, we don't need them, and plus, I have gotten way too attached to these beautiful unique ones." Maggie admitted before picking up a necklace with an owl pendant and holding it up in front of her face. "Awww, how cute..Hey isn't an owl the symbol of a woman's protector? Or something like that?" She asked looking to Meg for a moment before looking back to the little silver owl.

"It sure is..." Meg replied and looked at the owl necklace that Mags was holding. "It is pretty cute." She admitted before continuing to rifle through the thick wall of jewellery until she came across something that she thought was just way too awesome to pass on. "Oh my, that's awesome. Look at this." Meg snatched up a necklace in her hands, not just any ordinary necklace though. The pendant was a tiny sand glass that actually worked as a little timer. "It's mine.." She said, holding it firmly in her hands and grinning at Mags. Before she went to buy it, she looked around a little more to make sure that she didn't take a liking to anything else.

Maggie grinned at the necklace that Meg was now showing her. "Aww cool. That is so unique.." She nodded when Meg claimed it as hers. "Oh definitely." Mags sent a wink to her. After buying the necklace Maggie let out a massive breath of air as they both exited the shop and looked around for another shop to pounce on. Looking to Meg, she smiled in a very cheeky way before tickling the hell out of her. It wasn't exactly the best destination to be tickling somebody that was ticklish. "Haha!" She giggled and laughed at Meg who was freaking out and trying not to bump into anybody. "Sorry. Where to next? Actually, I would like to choose a store to go to." She nodded and pressed her lips together.

When she was tickled, Meg almost had a heart attack and found it hard to breath because she was laughing to hard. A sigh of relief escaped her lips when Maggie stopped, but the weird thing was, she actually bumped into somebody after she had gained control of herself again. "Oh! Sorry!" Meg looked up at the massively tall guy, she almost instantaneously recognised him. "Hey, you're that guy from the cafe that day. The funny one that looks rough and tough but is actually a really sweet and casual chilled out guy." Meg let out a laugh and nodded. The one that wanted a chocolate milkshake and a doughnut." She laughed a little harder.

Never bored, Joe casually just chilled by walking around everywhere once again, he only had a couple more hours until he had to start work at the night club, so why not just spend time walking about and meeting even more people than he has already. Joyfully walking about and whistling, he didn't realise that he was about to walk into somebody quite small. In fact, that somebody was that girl who had served him at the beach side cafe that time. Joe was pretty damn good at remembering faces considering how many of them he met in a day. "Oh! Sorry about that." He smiled. "I remember you too." He nodded and looked to the other woman that accompanied the smaller one. "Hey I never even got your name." Joe said and held out his hand.

Maggie gasped when Meg had collided with a really scary looking guy. But her sour expression faded when Meg started to get social with him, and he appeared to be extremely friendly. A little smiled appeared on her face as she listened to what they were saying to each other. "You're really tall..." Maggie said randomly. The guy's personality did not suit his physical appearance at all. "You know, you come across as this really intimidating person, but then you just randomly turn out to be this mad friendly guy..." She said using a confused tone. She wasn't afraid to admit the truth.

"My name is Meg...What's yours? Some sort of rough arse name suiting how you look?" Meg also made a big deal about the way he looked. In a way, it was a big deal, it was outrageously strange, strange to his attitude. She looked at Maggie when she admitted the truth. "I know right. But it's a good thing, because now, he is my friend, and I don't know about you, but I feel pretty god damn safe around him." Meg said and smiled up at the tall man. "You like to make friends right? I suggest that you make friends with Maggie here, Maggie this is..." She gestured for him to spit out his name in an eager fashion.

Joe smiled at the woman when she made a remark about his appearance and personality. He just shrugged. Then he looked down at the girl when she claimed that her name was Meg. "What an awesome name, it's nice to...well...know your name Meg." He smiled. Then he let out a laugh when she said that she felt safe around him. "Sure I'll be friends with this lovely looking lady called Maggie." He nodded. "My name is Eugene, but you can call me Joe." He looked down at Meg and waited for some sort of reaction to the name.

"Eugene. That's really unique, I like that name." Maggie said with raised eyebrows. She didn't poke fun at it or anything about not suiting his appearance, because it did kind of suit him. He was this massive gentle creature with a very deep voice, and his name was Eugene. "How come we have to call you Joe?" She asked. Then realised that they were all standing in the way of other people. "Hey let's move over here..." She gestured for them both to move out of the way with her. Then she continued her gawking at the tall guy. "I think Eugene is sweet.." Maggie admitted then looked at Meg. "Don't you?"

Meg let out a giggle when he said that his name was Eugene, they were supposed to call him Joe. When Maggie complimented him and asked why they had to call him Joe, she backed her up. "Yeah, I like Eugene better.." She nodded, then moved to the side pulling at Joe's sleeve so that he would too. "Yep, Eugene is a very sweet name." Meg couldn't help smiling, she just love Maggie's attitude towards him. "Yay, another amazing friend Mags!" Meg said, she wanted Maggie to actually leave it as it is, and not start another relationship, not after what happened and how deceiving Holden turned out to be. She didn't want the same thing to happen again, although, Mags would know better than to do something like that, you can't help falling in love.

"Well, I guess if you guys prefer calling me Eugene then that's fine with me..I just thought that Joe would be easier to remember or say, ya' know?" He shrugged and raised his eyebrows. "Dang right another amazing friend, I makes friends with every darn person I talk to, well almost anyways." Eugene said smiling. "Hey do yous mind if I shop with you for a little while? There aren't really many other legit people around and I just want to talk to people who know their stuff..." Eugene gave them the puppy dog eyes, although he didn't really need to.

Maggie laughed hard when he asked if he could shop with them. "Of course you can Mr. awesome Eugene man..." She said before gesturing for the other two to follow her. "We need to get a move on, be our guest." Maggie turned around and walked backwards for a moment while smiling at Eugene, then turned back around. Pausing for a moment, she placed a finger on her chin. "Hmm, now let's see...What sort of shop to go to now?" She asked herself while thinking hard. After some moments, she spotted a good-looking shop that appeared to sell music and band posters and television series. "Ah. Let's pay a visit to that shop over there.." She said with a funny accent.

Skipping over with the others, they ended up at a music shop with so many different varieties of media. "Oh my! I haven't heard them for ages!" She picked up a Nirvana CD and held it to her chest, how amazing Kurt Cobain was...He didn't deserve to go the way he did..." She said to herself in general or anybody else that was listening, because Mags and Eugene were already off somewhere else looking at their own preferences. Moving away, Meg went over to the DVD section, and when she saw a whole rack full of Disney movies, her face lit up. But her face lit up even more when she saw the Lion King for sale, right there before her eyes. "Oh yeah! Jackpot!" She snatched the movie up in her hands and went to show Maggie. When she approached her, she smiled and started singing. "It's the Circle of life..."

Gawking at a whole range of 90's bands, Maggie picked them up and looked at them one by one. She actually hadn't listened to her favourite music for a long time, mainly because her stereo was busted and she hadn't been bothered to go and buy a new one. "Hmm...Ooo Metallica.." Mags smiled to herself, but her eyes widened when Meg came up to her and started singing, but it wasn't just any old song, it was the Lion King song, and in her hands she had the Lion King movie. "Oh cool! Amazing find Meg!" She grinned. "When we get home, we are so watching that movie. I'm so keen." She said with a little excited puff. "I'm really finding it hard to choose which album I should buy..." She twisted her mouth up. "Hey do you remember that song called the Macarena?"

"Yay" She let out a girlie squeal when maggie said that they were definitely going to watch the Lion King when they got home. "I'm so keen too." Meg was almost jumping up and down outrageously in a joyful mood. Then she looked back and forth at the albums that Maggie was holding, trying to think of which one was better than the other, but then she looked back up at Maggie when she was asked if she remembered that song called the Macarena. "Oh yes! Of course I do! I used to play that song and dance to it all the time." Meg admitted, then looked back to the albums that she was holding. "I really can't say anything about which one you should choose, because I wouldn't have a clue."

"Awesome stuff Meg, you know your music..." She said when Meg had admitted to absolutely adoring the heck out of the Macarena song, then looked down at the Nirvana album that she had in her hands. "You know, back in the days, we never really shared our music and the likes, I guess that's why we are doing it now.." Maggie said before shrugging and just keeping both albums in her hands, as she couldn't decide with which one to take. The she started looking around for Eugene, and found him quietly shuffling through some television programs. "Okay, I'm ready to pay for this stuff.." She said, then walked over and waited in the moderately long line.

"Same here.." Meg followed behind Mags at the end of the line where she patiently waited and looked around smiling at the few people. After paying for her Nirvana album, she walked out of the shop and over to the seat where Maggie was sitting. She let out a sigh as she seated herself down next to her. "Where in the world is Eugene?" Meg asked, but then looked to Maggie with a funny face. "Hey, you don't like him, like him already do you?" She asked with raised eyebrows. If Maggie said that she actually like, liked Eugene, Meg would rage. She wasn't ready for another dude to move into the house again, and neither was Mags.

Sending a massive smiled towards Meg as she sat down right next to her, Maggie instantly replied to her small question. "I guess he is still just roaming around in the shop.." She shrugged. "I need to sit down and take a breather for a second anyways, because all these happy bouncy attitudes are wearing me down like nothing else..." She admitted and let out a big breath of air. The when Meg asked another question, she frowned. "Meg! What sort of question is that? You know that I'm not that stupid. And I can't just transfer from one person to the other, I'm not like that. I can't just, stop loving Holden straight away.." Maggie said, but then sighed when she realised that she had just admitted to still liking Holden, regardless of what he had done. "Look, I hate him for what he did, but it doesn't mean, that I have stopped shedding out feelings for him anymore."

Meg's mouth dropped open when Maggie admitted to still having feelings for Holden. "How is that possible Maggie? What about everything you have said, to everybody? You said that you couldn't care less, and you hate and that you don't love him any longer, and that he is just a piece of dirt on the road that a car runs over every five seconds.." Meg put emphasis on the last comment. "You know what? You know what I think? I think you are the most beautiful, amazing, perfect example of a person Maggie. You have a heart of Gold, but it is easy to scratch.." She gave her friend a pat on the back. "If there is anything that I can do to help you get over him the easiest way, please tell me, because we can't fix up that scratch now can we unless we hire some professionals.."

She raised an eyebrow at Meg's last comment about Holden being a piece of dirt on the road, with cars running over him every few seconds. Maggie's face turned all droopy when Meg started to compliment how perfect she seemed to be. "Oh...And you're the sweetest girl i have ever laid eyes on. Now why would I need a stupid guy to love me and cuddle me every night when I've got someone like you who loves me no matter what happens between us sometimes." She threw her arms around Meg. "You know, I can't recall you ever once lying to me.." She said, then pulled away and looked at her. "I take it that the professionals are us?" Maggie said as more of a statement than a question, then looked over at Eugene who had just decided to emerge from the crowded music shop.
