It had been a while since Diana had been to the club, and she was starting to miss it. As she made her way to the club she pulled out her VIP card and showed it to the bouncer at the entrance, a new guy from the look of him. When she went into the club she was greeted with the flashing lights and drumming of the music. Letting out a heavy content sigh she walked over to the bar where she ordered her club soda from Jack. When she looked out to the dance floor the usual amatures were out battling to see who had the better skills. Diana just shook her head as she took a few gulps of her soda and headed out pushing her way through the group who seemed skeptical about her just joining in. But as soon as she challenged one of the males she proved her worth as she defeated more then half her challengers by the time the song was over. She needed to catch her breath but she had accomplished what she intended to do, reclaim her place as the queen of the dance floor.

Kalina had been at the club just letting loose when she noticed a familiar person beat a ton of people at a dance off. She cheered with everyone else and then followed Diana to the bar. "Hey there stranger! Didn't think I would be seeing you again after my little incident." she said with a small smile as she sat down beside Diana and ordered a water. She wasn't going to drink tonight, especially if she would be seeing herself home because if there was influence of alcohol she would probably get lost. "Way to kill them on the dance floor. One of these days I'm going to have to challenge you that way it will actually be a challenge for you." she joked.
When Diana was joined by Kalina she smiled at her laughing at her comment. "Indeed, speaking of which did you find your Brico boy?" She asked Kalina remembering how she called out for him in her sleep. When Kalina said that she would have to challenge her sometime to give some comatition, Diana couldn't help but smile. "I'll bet you would be quite the competitor in a dance off, surely better then the punks I just burned." She giggled just as Jack brought her another club soda. She had finally caught her breath Diana looked out to the dance floor and notisted some people going up on stage to sing. "Hey Jack karaoke tonight?" She asked the bartender and he sent her a confirming nod as he gave two other people their drinks. "This should be fun, Carpe Noctum Idol." Diana said a big old grin across her face as she faced the stage wondering if there was going to be anybody good tonight.
Cory quickly headed up to the Club. He flashed his VIP card to the bouncer at the door, who didn't question him. He was running a bit late. he had said he wouldn't lose the card, so he put it into his wallet. So instead he lost his wallet. Well, he was pick pocketed and had to knock a bit of sense into the idiot. It was only 9:10. Ten minutes isn't much. Is it? He was hit with the music, but it soon died out. It looked like Karaoke was getting set up. He saw Diana and another Woman talking at the Bar, so he made his way over. "Diana. I'm sorry I'm a bit late. someone tried to steal my wallet, and I had to give them a lesson in why you don't do that to a wolf." He smiled, and went to give her a hug.
Kalina looked out to the dance floor and sighed, "Yea I found him.... didn't stay too very long before I wander away from him. I should probably find him again." she said, starting to ramble some as she thought about it. She was missing him but her wandering kept her away. She looked up when someone else joined them and began to speak to Diana, she smiled about what he said about teaching the theif a lesson. Then her attention turned to the karaoke that was being set up. "Lookie there! Maybe you can kill everyone with your singing voice this time Diana....that is if you have a singing voice." she teased to her friend. Kalina was in a playful mood tonight and she was up for a little fun whether it be dangerous fun or simple fun. Tonight was her night to let loose and have no worries.
Diana saw the look in Kalina's eyes when she mentioned having found him. She missed him although she didn't like to stay in one place for too long. "Perhaps you should take him with you, so that you won't miss him so much." She suggested just befor Cory caught her attention. When he mentioned teaching his pitpocket a lesson she couldn't help but smile and shake her head as she gave him a hug. "Your quite the people person aren't you. Oh right, Kalina this is Cory Masters, play boy and utter annoyance." She said rolling her eyes at the last part a smile on her face. "And Cory this is Kalina Mendez, wandering she wolf and battle buddy." Diana introduced her friends just before Kalina mentioned killing everyone with her voice. Laughing slightly she shook her head. "I sing with my body not my voice, but perhaps you could give it a try? There has to be more to you then just a bad ass chick that knows how to dance." She said leaning against the bar as she ordered a Masters Margarita for all three of them. The club had made the drink out of request of Diana and they turned into one of their trade mark drinks. That was how she got her VIP card but she managed to slip another incase she lost her's. "In honor of Dylan Masters, brother to Cory and more to me." She gave her toast clinking glasses with her friends before she sipped her margarita.
Cory Laughed when Diana called him a play boy And annoyance. "Yeah. People just love me huh? But thats just cause of how awesome I am." he said. extending his hand to Kalina. "Its nice to meet Diana's battle buddy. So, does that include pillow fights?" He joked. He looked around the Club, taking in the people as Diana spoke. His glance returned when she said she sung with her body. "Do you really know how true that is?" He asked, taking a moment to appreciate just how attractive she actually was. He thought Diana was very beautiful. He Accepted the drink, and made his own toast. "To the brother that I won't meet, but will definitely agree with his choice of women." he said, looking at Diana and drinking his drink slowly. He got a bit distracted by her eyes before quickly turning away. Blushing just slightly. "Come on Cory. Get your head together. he thought to himself. He made his way toward the the DJ. And requested "Wicked Game", the HIM cover. He got up on stage and began singing. He stayed in tune, but lagged a bit on the second verse. It wasn't noticeable, barely a split second behind. But he noticed. He got to the last verse, and couldn't keep his eyes off Diana as he sang.
"World was on fire, no one could save me but you
It's strange what desire will make foolish people do
No, and I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you
I'll never dream that I love somebody like you, no
No, I wanna fall in love
(This world is only gonna break your heart)
(No, I wanna fall in love
(This world is only gonna break your heart)
..with you
Taking sips of the drank she gave him she observed what was happening. Laughing some when Diana said that she should go sing, "Oh no.... I couldn't possibly go up there. I wouldn't want to put all these people to shame with my voice." she said. She shook Cory's hand and gave him a smile before he went on to talk some more. She caught that look he had when he looked at Diana, she would get that same look when she looked at Brico. It was the look of someone who had fallen in love, only Kalina was lucky and she had her love. When Cory went up to sing she leaned back against the counter and drank from her drink Diana had bought, listening to the words of the song all the way to the end. Kalina gave her friend a nudge and smiled, "Seems like you caught his fancy chica. He can't seem to take his eyes off of you." she said.
Diana just laughed when Kalina said that she didn't want to shame everyone with her voice, as her face went red at what Cory said as she saw the look in his eyes but pretended not to. When he went up to sing Diana pulled a knee up hugging it as she listened. He was good and she felt her body move to the rythmn of the music till she knotisted he was stareing at her and Kalina pointed it out. "I know and it's embaracing." She said her face going a rossy pink as she tried to hide her face. Most of the time Diana looked like she was fine and had finally healed after Dylan, but, the scares were still open and hearing Cory sing about wanting to fall in love with her only added salt to the wounds. "Excuse me." She said as she quickly got up and headed straight for the bathroom as an attempt to hide her tears from her friends.
Cory closed his eyes as the song was ending, and took a split second before getting off stage, as he opened his eyes and got off stage he saw Diana go towards the bathroom, And thought he saw something in her eyes, but he wasn't sure what he saw. "Oh Cory, what did you do?" he spoke in a sigh to himself as he realized they were tears in her eyes. he followed as quickly as he could, but the crowd took that as the perfect moment to get in his way. By the time he got to the women's bathroom, Diana was already inside, and he wasn't sure if it was such a good idea to go in after her. He knocked on the door, but didn't hear anyone say anything. He glanced about, hoping no one would see him go inside the females bathroom, and slipped inside. "Diana? You in here? Are you ok?"
When Diana reached the bathrooms she immediately went to the sink and splashed her face with water. The cool of the water didn't help much to calm her down but it did help to hide her tears. When she heard a knock on the door she knew who it was and quickly moved out of site as she heard the door open and his scent lingered past the clouds of perfume. Hearing him call out to her Diana couldn't hold back a sob that lead to her wrapping her arms around her stomach and squatting on the floor like a child. Her tears ran freely now despite the fact that she heard Cory rushing to where she was hiding and that he would see her like this. She didn't have a joice though, soon enough he found her and she was still unable to stop the tears.
As cory called for Diana, he heard a sob, he quickly headed toward the stall where it came from, picking up pace as he heard it turn to a sob. Finding Diana crying, he quickly picked her up, and held her. "Its ok. I'm here. Don't worry." He sat down, her in his lap with her legs hanging over, holding with one arm while wiping tears away with his other hand. "Hey now. Look at you. You'll ruin that perfect face crying like this." He said, trying to smile. He continued to wipe tears away. He looked into her eyes, and smiled again, sadness behind it. he stopped wiping away tears and just pulled her close, rocking her back and forth slightly, and humming. He didn't hum anything in particular, just hummed.
When Cory found Diana, she first thought that she was seeing Dylan again till she heard his voice as he held her in his lap. The tears wouldn't stop even as he wiped them away they still flowed. Luckily Diana wasn't a fan of makeup as she thought of it as a mask. Even his joke of her ruining her face didn't stop the tears but she did open her eyes seeing his sad smile. The smile quieted her sobs as she nuzzled his shoulder as she slightly wrapped her arms around him. His scent was even different from Dylan's, but there was a sense of comfort and welcome in the scent as well as his voice. When she had finally gathered herself enough to be confident in her voice, Diana lightly pushed back from him enough so that she could look up at him, her eye slightly red from the tears. "Why Cory, why did you have to sing that song, out of all the songs you couldve chosen, why that one?!" She almost seemed to yell as her hands started to grip the shoulders of his shirt as she trembled but she didn't wait for an answer before she moved away from him. Rather reluctantly she went to one of the sinks and splashed her face again to try and clear her head.
Cory kept humming until she finally spoke. He wasn't sure how to speak, feeling her tremble slightly. He stayed silent for a moment while she splashed her face at a sink. He went to her side, not knowing what to say. "I'm sorry. I..." he stopped, trying to get his words in proper order. "Well. I guess I just have the same... Tastes?" Cory said more unconfidently. He put his face in his hands. "I also don't have many songs i can actually sing. And that one fit..." He cut himself off. He put his arms around Diana, trying to comfort her more, not really knowing what to say. He just continued to hold her.
Diana's hand were planted flat on the counter her head down as she listened to what he said about the song. She just shook her head not sure what to think till she felt his arms around her and her eyes went wide. Soon enough Diana's hands found his chest and held her there for a few minutes. There was something here that she wanted, what she needed but there was something holding her back from taking it. As she started to move away from him again Diana pulled back a hand and swung. Her hand stopped a hairs breath from Cory's cheek and instead she lightly rested it there looking in his eyes as she stroked his cheek with her thumb. Diana's heart started to race as she blushed. Quickly pulling her hand away she stepped back from him and ran out of the women's restroom and up to the stage. She quickly and quietly requested Bad Boy by Cascada before she jumped onto the dance floor. It was her turn to sing her way.
Cory almost flinched, but didn't. He waited for the smack, but instead felt Diana's hand rest on his face. He brought his hand to her's but she quickly took off. He waited a moment to follow, and made his way out of the woman's bathroom. He passed another female as she entered, but ignored her curse of get out. He saw Diana Dancing, saw how she moved with the music. "Beautiful..." he muttered. He continued to watch, walking up to the dance floor for a better view. His heart thudded at the sight of her singing with how she moved so perfectly. He moved with the beat of the music, but just sorta. Cory's heart seemed to move with Diana, almost moving through his chest as if to immolate her dancing. He blushed slightly when he thought she looked at him.
Kalina watched as Diana started to break down, she wanted to comfort her friend but at the same time she knew that this was something she should not intervene in. She felt like this was something Cory should do and it was good that he followed her to the ladies bathroom. Kalina just sat there and finished her drink before ordering another, this would have to be her last one of the night....maybe. When Diana reappeared and made her way to the stage Kalina smiled some, but she could still see that pain on her friends face and that hurt her some. When Cory came back and sat down she looked at him and sighed, "How is she?" she asked him.
As Diana danced to the beat of the music her face held little emotion but the rest of her body spoke for her. While danced she thought a out what had happened with Cory and her feelings for Dylan. Was she having strong feelings for Cory because he looked like Dylan, or was she ment to be with him? She was nearing the end of the song when she looked up from the floor and saw his eyes whatching her as well as Kalina's. With the finale not Diana did a no handed back spring landing in a crouch her head down and a few tears hitting the floor. As she stood she heard a Chris brown song come on, Run it. She was starting to leave when she heard someone call her out. Diana wasn't in the mood and it showed in her eyes as she face the tall human male who was looking her up and down with hungry eyes. That look only fueled her anger as she stepped up to the challenge.
Cory moved back toward Diana's friend Kalina, and half ignored her question for a few moments. "Sad." he said after downing a drink. Looking back to the dance floor, he saw her flip, and could feel more than see the tears fall. He went to move, but didn't. He was just kinda frozen in place. He wasn't sure what was going on inside himself right now. "Well bro, never met you, but damn. I'm here, and you aren't. There has to be some meaning in that. Right?" He thought to himself. He had never had the chance to meet his twin. But he knew the differences. Knew his brother's past life. He wondered as he moved toward the dance floor again. Should he be here? Something felt so right all of a sudden, So he went with it. He waited, watching Diana Dance off against some guy that had challenged her. waiting for the song to be over, he waved to Diana once she was done to come over. He could see the emotions playing across her face. "What am I doing?" he asked himself under his breath. He knew he was about to get smacked, but it was alright. When she finally made her way over, he grabbed her hand and brought her close. Wrapping his left arm around her, he rested his right hand on her face, wiped away a tear, and kissed her. Just a soft brush of his lips with her's. "Sorry, but it needed to be done, you Tantalizing beauty you." He said, his playful grin spread across his face.
Diana was good, real good at the whole dancing thing. Kalina was impressed. When her friend was done dancing and returned to them she watched Corey take her in his arms. Closing her eyes she looked away from the two and sighed. Downing the rest of her drink she stood up and shook out her hair. "Look, I would love to stay and have a great time but it is obvious that to two of ya'll have a lot to work out. I suggest ya'll get out of here too and talk it out instead of running from the problem." she said. Then she embraced her friend and kissed her cheek. "I will see ya'll later." she said to the two with a small wave as she walked away, making her way through the crowd and out the door.
Diana's finishing move against the human made him loose his balance and fall on his ass. She didn't say anything as she glared at him till she saw Cory waving at her to come to him. The anger in her eyes deminished as it was replaced with confusion and curiosity. She wasn't sure what she was feeling but she made her way over to him and Kalina, being caught off guard by his arm going around her waist and his lips touching her's. Her cheeks went redder then her hair as she looked at Kalina and hugged her back. "All right Kalina, see ya around." She said before she turned to Cory her cheeks still red as she just stood there and wrapped her arms around her stomach. Looking away from his eyes she knew that she couldn't run away from this one as she sat down at the bar her stomach filled with butterflies.
Cory let her go when she went and hugged Kalina. "Bye Kalina. It was nice to meet you." he said as she left. Not getting smacked twice in the same night shocked the hell outta him. "I'm losing my touch." he said aloud with a smile. He looked at Diana, taking in every little line and curve. He felt butterflies in his stomach, and half thought he's end up belching them out. He wrinkled his nose at the unpleasant thought of burping at this particular serious moment. "Then again, it may be just what is needed to alleviate the tension..." he thought to himself. But he decided against it. He sat down beside Diana, trying to keep his gaze from being intense. "Well, it seems you have a thing for snagging the heart of Masters." Cory Joked. He rested his hand on her's. "Hey, its ok." he spoke more softly. "Cory is here to make things better." He grinned at his own fail attempt at humor. he was trying to cheer Diana up.
When Cory sat next to her and said that she seemed to snag the hearts of Masters she chuckled lightly. "Apparently." Was all that she said as he rested his hand on her's. I felt like a small shock had gone through her whole arm as she looked up at him a tint of blush on her cheeks as she took hold of his hand. "If you really want to try this, then follow me." she whispered in his ear as she got up from her seat and headed back onto the dance floor letting go of his hand. She quickly requested "Everytime we touch" slow version by Cascada before she headed to the center of the floor and waited for Cory to join her.
Feeling a tingling in his hand when she let go. He followed just a step behind her, feeling light-headed. He stepped to her, smiling slightly. He leaned close, "Yes I want to try this." he whispered. He waited until the music started, before sliding his left arm around her waist, and grabbed her right hand with his. He lead her on the dance floor, before spinning her once. He Felt every little moment last for an eternity, yet every second was gone too fast at the same time. Time froze, yet sped up. He dipped her at the end of the song, And just gazed into Diana's eyes. They kept him fixated. He leaned in to kiss her, Pulling her as close as he could, while still holding her dipped.
As they danced Diana felt like she was being swooned but at the same time, she loved it. They moved perfectly together, even though he was leading her. When he spun her she came back to him with a smile on her face. The crowd around them had made room for Cory and her to move till he dipped her on the last note. She looked in his eyes and was just as frozen as him till he started to lean down to kiss her pulling her up at the same time. But she didn't fight him she just closed her eyes and waited for their lips to meet. When they did a pure tingle went threw her whole body as she rested a hand on his face as the crowd started to cheer and whistle at them. Diana soon pulled back from the kiss and looked in his eyes. "Let's get out of here." she said a small smile on her lips as she pulled herself out of the dip so that she was standing still in his arms.
Hearing Diana's voice, Cory almost laughed, smiling. He didn't even notice the club around, and all the people. "OH... So all it takes is for you to fall in love with me?" He smirked playfully, Kissing Diana on the head. Everything in him seemed to be rushing. Still holding Diana, he felt warm, His whole body tingled. His lips felt as though electricity danced on them. His gaze had never left Diana. "Sure." was all he choked out, suddenly feeling so vulnerable. "Where are we going?" He managed to ask. His eyes began to wander along Diana's Face and body, causing him to blush at his thoughts. "Perhaps someplace more private?" Cory said, his sense of humor coming back.
At his comment she just shook her head lightly till she felt him kiss her head as she slowly ran her hands up to his forearms. The look in his eyes told her that he felt vulnerable. When he asked her where she wanted to go she leaned into him slightly unaware of the many eyes watching them. "Anywhere you want to go." Was all that she whispered to him as she lightly took his hand in her's and lead him out the door of the club. Diana just started to walk aimlessly as she waited to hear where he wanted to go as she held his hand. It felt good to hold his hand but at the same time she realized that the way they were going was the same when she had been thinking of Dylan and almost attacked Cory. Soon enough she froze in place looking at the ground as the tears started to well up in her eyes.
Hearing Diana say anywhere he wanted Struck just the right cord. "Does that include your bedroom? " he couldn't help making the joke. But that was the only thing his tongue managed before seeming to fail. he was aimlessly following her as he tried to make his tongue work. He even stuck his tongue out, trying to see why it wouldn't work. He felt ridiculous. He was tangled head over heels for Diana, and was just happy to be holding her hand. "I feel so childish right now." He joked aloud. But when Diana froze and began crying, he snapped back. "Actually, your room may be just the place to go. Someplace cozy where we can just hold each other." Cory said as he picked Diana up in his arms. He cradled her to his chest, gently kissing her on the head as he wiped away more tears. "For such a strong woman, you certainly hurt quite a bit huh?" He said, a smile on his face as he gazed into Diana's beautiful eyes. "Just tell me how to get there." he said, still still cradling her as he began walking.
When Cory picked her up she wrapped one arm over his shoulder. Hearing his heart beat helped her's to slow as well as the flow of tears to almost stop. When he said that she hurt alot she chuckled lightly. "Loosing Dylan is only a third of the pain I've delt with since I was turned." Was all that she said till he told her to tell him where she lived. "We live in the same building, the valley. My room is just a few doors down from your's." Diana told him as he walked while carrying her as she felt a rightness to this. She felt safe in his arms and it covered her body in warmth to be held by him. As they walked towards the valley Diana's eyes slowly wandered up towards the sky to the full moon and the stars.
