It had been some time since Lexi had gotten any contact from any of her clients. She had guised that they had caught wind that she had been pregnet and thought that she had gone soft. Lexi was sure to put Marcus to bed and waited till he was asleep before she left the cave in their area and meet with her client in the forests closer to the city. Alex was sure to have equipped herself with her daggers and had her hair up in her leather huntress outfit. This client use-to-be a regular of Lexi's and to hear from him again mention that there was big fish to fry some where and he couldn't trust anyone else to get the job done right the first time. It didn't take her long to reach where her client and her would meet, and she found him there with a folder in his hand. "Been a while Tom." She greeted and he just gave one of his half smiles and handed her the folder. He told her that all the information she needed on the target was in it, and if she had any questions to call him or his second. Their meeting was almost over when Lexi picked up on a familiar scent that caught her slightly by surprise when she turned to see who it was.

He sat in his post, in his tree, in his favorite branch in complete silence as he scanned the perimeter. All was well yet again nothing stirred but the bats above him. He looked down to see his love run into the forest. He quickly jumped down and followed just down wind from her so she could not pick up his scent. He ran quietly, trailing her and keeping pace. He stopped at the edge of the forest and watched as she greeted a man. He did not recognize him and immediately he went on high alert... All senses kicked in and he heard everything and saw everything that went on, even in the crowd around them. He watched for any microscopic trace of trouble and he found loads of in as the man handed her a folder. He leaped out of the forest and walked to her. He stopped and watched as she turned to him. "And this is about what?.." He said looking around, his senses still on high alert.

Tom, being a human, emidiatly backed away from Sky when he jumped out of the forest. He apologized to the massive wolf infront of him before returning his attention to Lexi and told her the date he wanted the job done. "Give or take a few days." She told him as he walked away and Alex just stood where she was. "Your angry with me?" She asked Sky quietly when her client was gone. She could still feel him being on high alert, even though she knew why. "We were just discussing a job Sky no need to be so hostile with Tom. Granted he has tried somethings in the past, but he learned the hard way, not to touch me." She told Sky turning to face him slightly frightened by what he would say.

"Babe it has nothing to do with him...What is it about this job?... I thought you were done!?" He said calmly looking into her eyes pleadingly. "If you insist on doing this damn job... then I'm just gonna go back home and take care of Mark... There is no point in trying to argue at this point... its a lost cause..." He said, turned, and ran back into the forest. Slowing down he came to a walk. "Oh man I hope this damn job gets her more training than a week would..." He said to himself a little disappointed but understanding what she had to do all day. "Well if it makes her happy... I'll let her go but she better be really careful.... Don't exactly know what I'd do without her..." He said now looking upwards as he spoke the last part to his father who he knew was watching him from up there somewhere.

Alex couldn't help but look away from Sky when he spoke. She remembered her last job and how she dumped it to have Marcus. She never regreted that decision and she loved her son more then anything, but, she had never originally chosen to fall in love and have a child. Till she let her feelings for Sky grow. His words now seemed worse then if he had slapped her for not telling him, and it hurt more when he ran back to the forest. She was still standing where he had left her, the folder still in her hand when she finally sat down and tossed it a few feet in front of her. Did she really need to do this job, or was it something for her to try and get a taste of what her life use to be before her family? Alex stayed there the whole night till dawn. That was when Luna came and laid down beside her while Alex kept trying to make her finale decision.

He sat under a tree and stared into nothingness. His mind traveled deep into his memories and the abyss of his thoughts. He finally saw the demonic monster inside of him. A darkness... like another being inside of him... He had gone through some strange things.... and getting this body was definitely one of them. He had no recollection of anything he was looking at now or even time itself... He just sat and stare into the abyss darkness of the forest around him. He didn't even notice when Luna went running by him. His thoughts were now overwhelming his vision...This image of this darkness scared him... all he could see of the being were two blood red eyes... to him it were as if you were in complete darkness like deep in a cave and you were being circled by this unknown being. He knew it was in no way human or even Vampire or a wolf like him... it made sounds... Unforgettable sounds... it was as if you stuck your head into hell and heard all of the screaming and yelling of Demons and Humans alike... It terrified him and he could not get it out of his head. It seemed to grow closer and closer with every circle it made around him until it was breathing in his face. It stopped and stared, not even blinking. He couldn't look away for reasons unknown. Then the most disturbing thing of all happened to him... It spoke... "Let..." It paused, speaking in almost a growl, "Me..." It paused again. "OUT!!!!!" It said at last and grabbed him and threw him into the air. When he hit the darkness below him he stood and faced the being. "Who are you?..." He asked, now shaking. "What are you?..." He asked even more puzzled. It cocked its head and stepped towards him. "I am your DEATH!!!!" It said now sprinting to him, but as it reached him he snapped out of his thoughts screaming as he put his hands on the ground and scooted himself into the tree. He was breathing hard and could not control it. He began to shake and checked himself to see if he were still alive. Seeing that he was he looked down at his hands which were shaking profusely. "What the fuck was that...." He said shakily before looking around to see darkness. "Holy hell how long have I been sitting here?... I need to get home..." He said to himself as he tried to stand up.

It was when she heard a scream of terror that both Alex and Luna snapped back to the real world and went on high alert. Alex got to her feet and sprinted towards her home with Luna at her heels. When she finaly reached Sky she called out to him seeing the fright in his eyes when he turned to face her. "Are you ok, I heard you scream?" She asked him when she had gotten closer to him. It was then she remembered that hshe had left the folder back out in the forest, but she coud get it later. What mattered now was her mate and what had him on edge.

Sithious was taking a morning stroll through the mountains, breathing in the crisp air, as he walked along near the cliffs and caves. It was around dawn when he thought he picked up the scent of his friend Lexi. he decided to take a look, wondering what she was doing up here. It was then he heard it. A terrible scream of fear rang out, echoing off the rocks. He dashed in the direction, but noticed a folder on the ground as he was going. He wouldn't have stopped except he picked up Lexi's scent here as well. He picked up the folder, and then continued to race, following the direction the scream had come from. He came to a halt, standing a couple of feet away from Lexi and Sky. "Is everything ok? I heard a scream." His question was meeted by another wolf nearby jumping in between Sithious and his friends, snarling in warning.

Still struggling to stand he turned slightly as his lover came running to him along with Luna. When Kitsu came running and Luna jumped in front of him he held out a hand. "Luna he is a friend let him by..." He said out of breath and still shaking. He fell into Lexi's arms. "I don't.... I don't know what happened.... I..." He said, his words trailing off. All of a sudden a flashback came roaring into his mind and he nearly broke the tree behind him trying to get away from it. "NO!!" He screamed looking off past Lexi into the woods. He began to hyperventilate and the flashbacks became stronger and longer. He dug his face into his hands. "GO AWAY!!!!" He screamed at nothing but what was inside of him.

Standing close to Sky she rested her hands on his forearms when Kitsu appeared and Luna got defensive. Alex was about to tell her to stand down but Sky did it before she could. Holding him when he collapsed into her arms, she just held him till he suddenly cried no and looked past her into the forest. When he started to hide his face in his hands Alex grabbed his wrists and tried to pull his hands away so that she could look in his eyes. "Sky, Sky look at me. Look at me." She told him when she finally was able to catch his face between her hands and made him look at her. She saw the fear and terror in his eyes and it reflected in her's as she lightly stroked his cheeks with her thumbs. "Everything is alright, there's nothing to be afraid of." Alex told him calm and quietly her hands still on either side of his face.

Watching Luna back down, Sithious walked forward when Sky started screaming again. He knelt down beside Sky and Lexi, feeling a little awkward at his intrusion. "Sky, its ok. that thing is only as powerful as you let it be." Sithious noted the fear, and knew it all to well. He had felt the same thing. "You control it, not the other way around. Otherwise you end up like me..." Sithious trailed off, not wanting to continue on that part. He set the folder down, and patted Sky on the shoulder. "Come on now. You're more powerful than me. Give me hope. Cause if you can't beat whats inside of you, how can I beat whats inside of me?" Sithious wasn't sure how that question would be taken, but he hoped Sky could somehow find some determination from it, if nothing else.

"I CAN'T STOP IT.... THE MEMORIES..... THEY HURT!!!" He screammed now twitching every time a flashback hit. He let out a shaky breath and looked into Lexi's eyes. "Make them stop...." He said tears welling up in his eyes. He dug his face into her shirt. "Please don't go...." He pleaded shaking in her arms. "I don't know what's happening to me.... Get me home and lock me up...." He pleaded looking up into her eyes pleadingly. His eyes full of emotion. He was scared. It was one of the few times in his life. He had never been this scared in his life and he couldn't take it. He dug his face into her shirt again and held her tightly in his arms, twitching and shaking with every flashback, making a painful noise at every flashback.

Alex didn't know what she was gonna do. When Sky held onto her she held him tightly like she was comforting her own child. She had already accepted the job and now Sky was pleading for her not to. "Sky you know I can't stay." She said in a quiet voice as she looked in his eyes and held him. Alex tightened her arms around Sky and was serching for a solotion to what was going on. When she knew that she couldn't leave him here she then thought that perhaps he would come with her on her job. But she knew it was a long shot that he would even consider it.
