- OK, we hate to say this, but it must be done. If you are under the age of thirteen do not join this board. If you have already joined, and you’re under the age of thirteen, then please delete your account. We are, once again, very sorry for this, but it is in the vForum's terms of service, and we are merely enforcing it.
- No god modding. Nobody is perfect and this includes you.
- No power playing. This is one of my personal pet peeves, so don't do it. Do it more than once and we'll ban you.
- You can cuss, but don't go overboard with it, and don't direct it at anyone.
- No sexual content, period. We don't want to hear anything about sex, or anything that even relates to sex on this forum. Do it and we'll ban you, no questions asked. You can kiss, but no more than that, got it? Good =]
- No fighting in OOC.
- Respect. This is one of the main rules! C'mon, everyone wants respect, that especially includes us. We won't allow any disrespect to me, or any of the members of this site. You have a problem with someone? Then PM me, Sin or Aine and we'll see what we can do. Don't mess with any of the Staff and no back-talking. You will be banned. It doesn't take too much to get me mad, so lets just listen to this rule, shall we?
- Listen to all of the Staff Members. If I hear from any of the Staff Members, that someone is going-up against them, or not listening then that member will immediately be issued a warning. All Staff Members are different, act differently, and also use their powers in different ways and levels, no matter what they do, however, you must still listen to them. If you have a problem with an Admin, and we mean a literal and actually serious problem, then just PM me (or Sin). Don't start any fights, problems, or something around that level.
- Crowding. No double posting. It crowds up boards and simply wastes space, wait until another member has posted before posting again.
- Make sure to follow the character form completely and descriptively, before then waiting to get your character accepted by one from the Secretive Guard or the Venomous Squad! Again. You may not begin role-playing until your character has been accepted by an Admin.
- Don't ask me for a staff position. When staff positions are open we will announce it to you.
- You may have one character per account and as many accounts as you can keep active.
- When you've first made a character you're stuck with it. If you delete your account on various reasons you can't apply for a character until a month after you've deleted your account. If you delete a character who's in the middle of RP with other members you ruin it for them. So you can see it as a penalty for deleting the account. Unless you're leaving you're not allowed to delete your account without the permission from either Aine, Fahrenheit, Leona or Serena.
- If you kill off your character, you have to wait one month before you can make a new one. You can't make a new character on the old account, you have to make a new account for that. We strongly advice to kill off your character just to make a new one, but please ask one of the staff before doing so.
- When filling out your application, then please choose a face that's known, do not just find a pic and use it if you don't know who it is. Pick a celebrity (model, actor/actress, singer, athlete), you can not use yourself, please pick a celebrity (we don't care if it's American, British or some other nationality).
- We advice not to use movie names and personilities that resembles to the characters from the movies. Try and put some of yourself in your characters instead of ribbing off from movie/book characters. We don't mind for inspiration, but try and make the characters your own as it will give you a closer connection to them. The more original the characters in here are the better.
- If you haven't activated and filled out an application within a month from the day you made an account, the account will be deleted. If your account is inactive over three months and you haven't announced that you're gone, your account will be deleted.
- No chat language what so ever in the forum. It's not nice to look at and besides it's out of date anyways.
- Ok people, this site is about werewolves, vampires, humans, witches and warlocks not getting along and such (read the Plot, it will help you understand this) So far the Vampires and Werewolves haven't had a problem with each other, from now on we want all new members to play this out. For the members who have already said they don't have a problem with the other race, myself included, don't change your character. Leave them the same. Leona, Fahrenheit and Aine are the only exceptions to this rule.
- You can kill other peoples' character, but you must have their permission first, the same goes for turning humans.
- No extreme violence AT ALL.
- Each post must be five lines. That isn't asking much, and please don't break this rule. If you do it more than once you'll get a warning. Do it over five times and we'll ban you.
- Please write in the third person. (Ex: She walked away from him with tears in her eyes. Correct!
I walked away from him with tears in my eyes. Wrong...)- Don't leave people behind in a post. It gets tiring to have to read all that, plus they'll feel left out. Don't do over twelve posts without them. This way they're not to far behind, and its easy for them to rejoin the post.
- Please try and make your character's personality match what you put on your application. Like, if you said your character was shy, he/she couldn't just automatically be big, brave, and tough when a stranger made them mad.
- Don't go on and on about how beautiful your character is. This gets annoying to read, and people won't like you. If your character is beautiful that's fine, post it once or twice and then shut up about it.
- The RP boards are for role-playing only, so no ooc posts are allowed. If there's something that has to be cleared out for the other role-player, you can write it in your RP posts, but keep it simple. It's not what the RP boards are for.
- As mentioned before this RP forum is about vampires, werewolves, humans, witches and warlocks so don't start to include other creatures and beings in your role-play, it can quickly become confusing for the other members. So stick to the following vampires, werewolves, humans, witches and warlocks and nothing else. So no mention of monsters, familiars, shape shifters, demons what else there is.
- Get your pictures from photobucket please. And keep them under 500x500.
- Avatars are max. 100x135 (100 px width and 135 px high).
- Signatures are max. 500x250 (500px width and 250 px. high).
- We don't want to see any pornographic images or videos on this site. If you do, we'll ban you, no chances and no questions asked.
- Don't use anime or cartoon characters for your characters picture.
- And most importantly, have fun! That's what we're here for people.
