The sighs of a young werewolf came from on top of tree where she sat on its branch. One knee was pulled close to her chest while the other leg dangled in the air. A book that consisted of 500 pages was in her hands and her gold/violet eyes were gazing at the very first page. Serena closed her eyes and leaned against the tree trunk gazing out towards the university. This was her very first year in college and she already hated the place.

“Stupid assignment.” She muttered. Being the lazy bum she was, she flung her book through the air put on her ear buds and started to listen to her iPod. The book, that was violently abused, was supposed to be for an English class assignment. A research paper was to be made from it and the newly appointed alpha female wasn’t in the mood to do homework. Some role model she was. After a few minutes of listening to ‘Red-light District’ by Porcelain and the Tramps (OOC- btw this is a very dirty yet catchy song so… I kinda don’t suggest but feel free to listen to it if u want ;P ), Serena’s eyes closed after the song ‘Fireflies’ by Owl City came on and slowly she began to doze off.

Piper kicked a rock down the path, enjoying the nice breeze the day had given. She was very annoyed with the heat already, and she couldn't wait for autumn. She stretched, standing on her tippy-toes, and when she opened her eyes, she found another fellow student sitting in a tree. She recognized her as the new alpha female. She grinned, thinking of a way to catch her attention.

"Stupid assignment," she heard her mutter lazily.

She watched as the alpha flung the book through the air, and it landed near Piper's feet. She picked up, examining the English book, and looked back up to see the alpha now relaxing with her eyes closed and listening to music.

Piper chuckled slightly, amused. She ran a hand through her hair, messing up slightly, but she didn't really care. She shook her head, thinking about leaving the lady alone, but she bit her lip and looked back up the tree. She needed something to do, and she loved to scare people. Piper shrugged, deciding to keep herself entertained for at least awhile.

She waited a minute, watching as the clouds moved along. Noting to herself that the alpha was now practically asleep, she climbed the tree, sitting on a branch near the other were. Piper smirked, pulling one headphone gently out of the alpha's ear, and she screamed.

"RAWWRR!"

Piper immediately jumped out of the tree after shouting, and she couldn't wait to see her reaction.

Serena had fallen asleep a good few minutes after flinging her book out of the tree. Very light snores could be heard from her as her back leaned against the trunk of the tree, her dark reddish bangs were covering her closed eyes, and her slender hands rested on her lap. Her legs were positioned as before, one up to her chest and the other hanging off the branch. Little did the female wolf know that she was no longer going to be up the tree in a matter of minutes. A sudden RAWR was definitely enough to wake the alpha up.

After having her ear drums practically broken, Serena woke up in no time. “AHHHHHHH!!” she screamed as she fell off the branch that was seven feet above the ground, arms flailing around. She face-planted as soon as she hit the ground and lay there for a few seconds. “Owww…” she moaned in pain as she placed her palms on the grassy ground and pushed herself up slowly before looking up to find the culprit that disturbed her nap and nearly gave her a heart attack.

Discovering the person to be a fellow pack member that was 2 ranks below her, she supposed she shouldn’t get too mad. She was relieved that it wasn’t a human at least that wanted to mess with her. Serena sighed and forced a smile back. “Having fun scaring people off trees?” She questioned in a playfully angry tone as she got up and dusted off the grass from her clothes before looking back at the delta werewolf and placing her hands on her hips.

Piper laughed as the alpha flailed her arms and fell out of the tree. An ear piercing scream could be heard from miles away. She face-planted as soon as she hit the ground and laid there for a good few seconds. Piper was having a lot of fun with this. She couldn't believe she'd freak out that much.

"Owww..." the alpha moaned in pain as she placed her hands on the ground and got up. She looked right at Piper.

"Having fun scaring people off trees?" she questioned in a playful-angry manner. She dusted the grass from her clothes before looking back at Piper.

Piper simply chuckled a little more before nodding, "Just needed a good laugh. Are you all right?"

“Yea… I’m alright… my back just hurts but it was like that before you awoke me from my beauty sleep.” Serena laughed as she walked over to the werewolf that scared her. “I don’t believe we’ve met before… The name’s Serena Twilight… I’m assuming you already knew that I’m the Alpha Female.” She winked before holding out her hand to piper for a handshake. Wondering if the delta werewolf met Lucian before, she decided to ask her directly to at least start a conversation. “So… Have you met the Alpha Male yet?”

Piper ran a hand through her hair, sighing slightly while smiling, "That was some nasty fall," she chuckled.

"I don't believe we've met before... The name's Serena Twilight... I'm assuming you already knew that I'm the Alpha Female." Serena winked before holding out her hand for a handshake. Piper shook the alpha's hand.

"My name is Piper Iglehart; I'm a Delta," she winked back, "and yeah, I know you're the alpha. I just thought I'd introduce myself."

"So... have you met the Alpha Male yet?" Serena asked casually.

Piper blinked and shook her head, "Nope, I haven't, actually."

“Nice to meet you Piper. Likewise, with you being the delta.” Serena smiled as she let go of Piper’s hand from their handshake. When the delta werewolf shook her head and told her that she’s never met Lucian before, Serena merely grinned. “Well, that’s not good. We shall acquaint the two of you sometime. He lives with me so you’ll probably have a better chance of seeing him if you ever come over.” The alpha female then placed her hands on her lower back and arched her back giving it a stretch. “Ahhh… my back…” Feeling a little satisfied, she stopped stretching and glanced back at Piper smiling. “Umm… sorry about that … Anyways, I need to get a hw assignment from my car. I have to give it in to Professor Cox. You want to come with me?”

Serena grinned when Piper mentioned she hadn't met Lucian before. "Well, that's not good. We shall acquaint the two of you sometime. He lives with me so you'll probably have a better chance of seeing him if you ever come over."

Piper smiled back, and she nodded, "Yeah..."

Serena placed her hands on her lower back and stretched, and Piper chuckled slightly, mostly because she didn't know what to say and didn't want to seem too awkward.

"Ahhh... my back..." she stopped stretching and smiled, "Umm... sorry about that... Anyways, I need to get a homework assignment from my car. I have to give it in to Professor Cox. You want to come with me?"

"Oh, yeah, sure! I can go with you," Piper smiled, "Professor Cox always makes me laugh whenever I say his name. Then he gives me dirty looks, but that's the joy of it."

Serena laughed at Piper’s comment about their Professor’s name. “Ha-ha me too!! I also love to play little pranks on him hehe….” The alpha female giggled as she began to walk in the direction of the parking lot. “He doesn’t know it’s me of course. I’m trying to make him think it’s one of the jocks in my class. God that guy’s so frickin annoying.” She shook her head as she poked her hand into her bag looking for her car keys. When she finally had them in her hand, she started swinging it around to pass the time before they got to her car.

“Hmmm….” Serena began to smirk as an idea started to form in her head. The alphess then turned to face Piper. “Say…. Why don’t we play a little joke on our dear Professor Cox?” She smiled very mischievously.

Piper couldn't help but laugh as Serena talked about playing pranks on Professor Cox. She was indeed going to get along just fine with this alpha woman.

"He doesn't know it's me of course. I'm trying to make him think it's one of the jocks in my class. God that guy's so frickin annoying," the alpha shook her head before searching around for something in her bag.

"Oh God," Piper sighed, "Professor Cox is very annoying. He gets on my nerves." Piper shivered at the memories.

Serena dangled the keys in her hand, swinging them around as they both approached a car, which Piper obviously assumed was the alphas. She did have keys, after all.

"Hmmm..." Serena began to smirk and then turned to face Piper, "Say... why don't we play a little joke on our dear Professor Cox?" She smiled mischievously.

Piper's face lit up immediately as a crazy smile appeared on her face, "A joke? And what kind of joke would this be?"

She was really beginning to like this woman's way of thinking.

“Hold on just a sec…” The alpha female said as she opened her car door. She stepped inside and looked around for the assignment, which she unfortunately misplaced. “Hn…” She grunted curiously wondering where the paper was. “Where did I put that thing?” She then looked under the driver’s seat; lo and behold she finally found the twenty-page essay lying on the floor. Serena reached down and picked it up to just before her face to examine it for any mishaps to it. Finding it perfect condition, she grinned and then got out of her car, closing the door and then locking it.

“Alright… so… well I don’t know what kind of joke yet but it’s gotta be awesome!” The alpha grinned at Piper. “Come come… let us think about it while we walk… although keep in mind that I have to get this in already so… yea..” She laughed as she grabbed the delta werewolf’s arm and started to drag her into a walk. “We have to make it look like someone else did it…. Hmm…. But first the prank… anyways idea my friend?” Serena looked at Piper with mischievous intentions.
