Artemys had just finished up a simple case involving a parking ticket, they lost but there was no way the man was going to get out of the ticket. As long as she was still bringing in the money by the end of the day she didn't care what kind of cases she took. But she did not like to lose and that was for sure. Sitting down on the town hall steps she let out a breath and ran her fingers through her hair, the next case better be a winner. Art still had some time to kill before she was due in court again, and as she looked at her watch she wandered what she should do. Perhaps she should go buy a cute dress for her little girl who wasn't so little anymore, vampires grew at a fast rate and it was kind of sad cause she missed holding her in her arms.

Abby was rushing through the foyer of the town hall. One hand holding a cell phone up to her left ear while the other was trying to keep quite an amount of paperwork in check against her chest, plus having her bag over her left shoulder as well. Apparently someone from Carpe Noctum had ended up in quite the ordeal in New York and it had been impossible to get any papers on the person, so she had to personally show up to get what she needed. "No no no, Jeff. I said the Miles vs. Cunningham. Standard case," she said as she rushed out through the sliding door and headed for the steps. It was quite busy in and out, so as she was on her way down the stairs someone came rushing past her and of course pushing her so she dropped the papers she was holding. "For the love of god, can't you see where you're going?" she yelled and looked after the guy who didn't even look over his shoulder, say sorry or even help her. She let out a heavy sigh. "No no, not you. Look I have to call you back. I'll have the papers faxed to you before you leave the office. Ciao," she said and hung up. Dropping the phone into her bag before she started to gather all the files. At least there wasn't much wind or she would have been in quite a jammer.

Artemys heard the commotion behind her and looked back to see what had happened. Standing up she started to help the woman grab some of the papers, "People around here can be so rude, let me help you with that." she said. Artemys grabbed up the final few and stood to hand them to the woman. "They are always in such a rush that they forget to pay attention, it can be quite annoying." Art added with a small smile. Then she stooped down and grabbed her bag, hanging it on her shoulder as she stood there on the steps. "Oh, how rude of me. I'm Artemys Vladimir...and you?" she asked. This woman seemed to work here yet Artemys had no idea who she was.

Abby tried to bring some kind of order to the files and when the woman handed her the rest, she sent her a friendly smile. "Thanks, things like these usually happens for me when I walk around in places where I don't know people," she explained, moving down the stairs a little. "Abigail De Jour James, District attorney in New York" she said. Letting out a slight sigh as she looked down to her files. "Better get these into my car before I drop them again," she said with a slight chuckle and slowly started to head down the stairs.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
