Selena was doing one of her patrols tonight, the kids were all tucked safe in bed and it was the perfect night for a patrol. Walking through the forest she made her way towards the river, the sound of the rapids reaching her ears. So far she hadn't seen anything suspicious but she was kind of hoping for a little mischief tonight, she hadn't had to break up anything troublesome in quite some time. Whistling a little tune Selena stuck her hands in her jacket pockets, taking a deep breath to catch the scents in the air. "Come out come out where ever you are...." Selena muttered as she looked around, now walking beside the river.

It wasn't because he was following her, but when he spotted her ten minutes ago, he couldn't resist. Sure he hadn't exactly spoken with her since that day in the mall several years back, but he was pretty sure she knew who he was now. He stayed in the shadows of the trees, making sure the wind didn't carry his scent with him. He had to admit, his oldest son had sure found quite the woman, maybe he was a bit foolish following the Head Gamma like that. "How are the children?" he called out and came to a halt, leaning slightly up against a tree on the outskirt of the forest, staying in the shadows so she couldn't see who it was. There was a slight smirk on his lips.

She turned quickly at the sound of the voice and there was a silver blade in her hand as she looked into the shadows. The voice had some familiarity to it and it took her a whille to place the voice and when she did she wasn't too pleased. Standing up she closed the blade and put it in her pocket, "The childeren are fine, growing quite fast." Selena answered. "You can come out the shadows John." she added as she stood there with one hand on her hip. She wondered how long he had been following her, he obviously didn't want her to know he had been if she hadn't been able to pick up on his scent. Selena did not trust him and she was not sure why exactly he was here now.

John didn't move right away, but when he finally did so he took a pack of cigarettes up, took one out and placed it in his mouth and lit it before he appeared into open sight. "Long time no see," he said and put his lighter and pack of cigarettes back into his back pocket, moving a little bit closer, but stopped a couple of feet away from the woman. "Saw Jay outside the stadium yesterday, hockey practise I think. At least he's honouring the Bernstein tradition," John said as he kept his eyes on Selena. Of course he just told her that he was watching his grandson from a distant, but he was after all here for a reason, well sort of.

Alexandria had been on her own rounds after putting her son to bed. Marcus was six now but looked as if he was eighteen and it was almost scary to see him growing to quickly. On her rounds Lexi always walked as a wolf, just felt more natural like that. Till she came across a deer or rabbit trail. Then her hunting instinct took over and she would catch tomorrow nights dinner. Tonight though, was different. Lexi had caught the scent of her friend Selena in the wind, and it was mingled with an unfamiliar scent of an older male. And yet the male's scent seemed to be similar to Selena's husband's. Running in the direction of the scents Lexi soon saw the river and slowed her pace to a slow, almost stalking walk. She didn't want to shift human or even show herself. But she also didn't want to eavesdrop. So for now Lexi hung back behind her friend keeping an eye on the male.

A growl rose from Selena as she stepped closer to John, "You keep far from my childeren." she growled as she looked the man in the eyes. She wasn't scared of him or the fact he worked for Aya and she didn't care if he was Alex's father if he touched one hair on her kids heads or put any one of them in danger she would kill him, slowly and painfully. Then she had him by the front of his shirt and her hand snaked down to his pocket retrieving the pack of cigarettes and lighter. Letting go she stepped back and kept her eyes on him, taking out a cigarette of her own and lighting it. "Now listen closely John, play nice and you might get to spend time with your grand kids one day.... But if you screw up even once I will make sure you don't live to see another day." Selena warned as she took a drag from the cig and eyed the man.

John raised his hands up as if he surrendered. "Easy. All I said that I saw him outside the stadium," he said, but there was a certain playful look in his eyes. "You've got spunk, I can see why Alex fell for you," John said, moving closer to her and snatched his cigarettes and lighter back. "And it's only polite to ask," he said and waved his pack of cigarettes before he put them back into his pocket. Truth be told he had kept an eye on the family. It looked like his granddaughters would become beautiful women and his grandsons handsome guys. He glanced at her for a brief second before his eyes moved to something behind her.

Alex had been sitting in the shadows the only thing truly visible being her golden eyes. She had heard what Selena said and witnessed what happened. Apparently the male was unwelcome around Selena's and Alexander's children. So she kept a close eye on him her paws clenching slightly as her muscles tensed feeling the male's eyes on her. A low growl rolled threw the back of her throat and her lip raised baring her fangs briefly before hiding them again. Lexi's ears stood up showing that if he tried anything she would fight him along side the Bernstien pack. At this point she was sure that Selena knew she was there so Lexi stood and walked out of the shadows still staying at a few feet distance from the male as her fur bristled down her back.

Selena let out a huff of air when John mentioned being polite. She had known Lexi was around but she didn't acknowledge her presence until the woman came out and stood near her. Selena couldn't help but smirk at how Alexandria was acting towards John. "I't alright Lexi, he won't do any harm. Lexi this is John Bernstein, John this is Alexandria Hunter." she introduced the two. Eyeing John her smirk faded and her eyes seemed to harden, she wasn't too pleased with running into him but perhaps she could get some information out of him although that was highly doubtful. "So... what big plans are you currently working on with Aya?" she asked as she ran her fingers through her hair and looked to her father-in-law of sorts.

John looked at the wolf when it finally appeared before he turned his attention back to Selena. He could sense that this Alexandria was one of the top nudges among the werewolves, but it didn't look like he cared much as he kept that slight smirk on his face as he looked at Selena and when she asked about what he was up to for Aya it only grew. "Oh sounds like you've been informed," he said, tilting his head a little. "We both know I won't talk," he said, keeping his gaze on Selena. "If you think you'll find a way to bring her down, then I'm not the one to ask," he said and looked back towards the wolf.

Lexi was still uneasy even after Selena's words. Hearing the name of the male Lexi was surprised that there so much tension between the two. Till she heard that he worked with Aya. Lexi hadn't had the pleasure of meeting Aya herself but she had heard of her being the first werewolf. When John then looked down at her again Lexi then shifted human. Now her bright green eyes bore into his her black hair falling behind her shoulders. "So you believe that we can't stop her. Then what's wrong with just figuratively speaking about what she's planing?" Lexi asked her voice sarcastic and her eyes almost lazy as she folded her arms over her stomach. "Oh Selena, how are the twins doing?" She asked her friend trying to hit on a positive note.

Selena figured he wouldn't talk about Aya, her eyes narrowed some as she eyed him. Then she turned her attention to Alexandria, "The twins are good. We shall have to do lunch to catch up on it all." she told her friend. Then looking back to John she put out the butt of her cigarette and stuck her hands in her pockets. "What brought you out here then John? Just felt like stalking your sons family?" she asked being slightly sarcastic on the last question. Perhaps she should try to be a little nicer to him since he was family but until things with Aya settled she wasn't planning on being too civil.

John laughed out loud. "Why don't you just sit back and enjoy the show, Miss Hunter," he said, finishing his own cigarette. "Everything will be unfolded in good time. And I'm not stalking anyone, last I checked we live in a free country, I'm just out enjoying a nice walk," he said and smiled innocently, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket. Of course he kept an eye on the family, but it wasn't like he actually followed them around, well not always. Most of the time he saw them by chance and then he followed them.

Selena smiled at John and shook her head. "As much as I would love to sit and chat with you John I have a job to do. I'm sure we will run into each other some other time so until then try to stay out of trouble." Selena said. Then looking to Lexi she gestured to the forest, "Join me on my patrol." she said, it wasn't a question she was more of telling her to come. Selena started to walk away and before stepping into the shadows she threw one last look over her shoulders at John. Selena wasn't sure what to do but one thing for sure she would tell Alex and let him know what happened.

Lexi chuckled inhumorusly at John's answer but she figured he wouldn't say anything against his mistress. When Selena told Lexi to join her more or less she didn't argue. "Oh, by the way John, just so you know. Selena is like a sister to me, and Alex a brother. So I suggest taking her advise and staying away." It wasn't even much of advise as it was a command. Lexi didn't tolerate ignorance from anyone, even herself when she tried to kill Ben. Following Selena Lexi kept pace with her not feeling easy until there was a good distance away from the wolf-hound.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
