Welcome to Carpe Noctum. It's the year 2016. Four years have past since the big battle between the people of Carpe Noctum and the Rose Alliance. But bigger and more evil beings are roaming in the outskirts of the town, preparing for the ultimate attack. No one is safe. Who's side are you on and the question is. Are you prepared to fight for what's right or what is easy? The choice is yours.
Jack stared at the half empty glass in front of him as he twirled the remaining liquid around by moving the glass a little. He sat in his own thoughts, he usually didn't go to bars, it wasn't his thing, but for some reason he needed a stiff drink and get away from his sister. Even though she hadn't asked many questions, then he had noticed the glances she had sent him when they sat at dinner or in the evening when they watched TV in her living room. Jack was starting to come to the conclusion that he should take a year off from studying, maybe wait until the kids were big enough. It wasn't like he would age that much more, and he would have an eternity to finish as a doctor. He let out a heavy sigh, things really hadn't went as he had hoped lately. First him hitting his son, huge fight with Hex and now this. Sure they had tried taking a break from each other before, but it was different now, there were two kids involved and right now Jack felt like a poor excuse for a dad.

Breanna didn't really have anything better to do that evening, not to mention Dayton was out doing god knows what. Probably seeing that werewolf girl that her brother used to see before he got hot and heavy with Reira. But when she entered the first the best bar she stumbled upon she couldn't believe her luck. The Beta Male himself sitting by the bar, lost in thoughts. She had heard rumours that he and his wife were taking a break so to speak. Not that she was planning on hitting on the guy, gosh no, but it might give her an oportunity to get closer to him. Gain his trust so to speak. She walked up to the bar and took a seat next to him. "Surprise me," she told the bartender when he appeared in front of her.

Jack didn't pay much attention to the woman who sat down next to him. He didn't take his eyes off his glass as he kept staring at it. He let out a heavy sigh, what was he suppose to do? How could he fix things? Right now he just wanted to dig himself down, but that wouldn't really solve things. Maybe she had been right, maybe he didn't really know her. After all everything had happened so fast when they first met. He didn't even notice when the bartender came back with a drink to the woman sitting next to him. All he could think about was Hex, their children. Maybe they had grown apart, maybe it was because he tried so hard to be the perfect Beta. He let out another heavy sigh.

Breanna glanced in the werewolf's direction. Gosh he looked depressed and she actually felt sorry for the guy, clearly this took its toll on him. By his second heavy sigh and he still kept his gaze on his glass she turned a little on the stool. "You know staring at that glass clearly doesn't help," she said, but since he still didn't respond she snapped her fingers right in front of him. "Okay spill it. It sometimes help to talk to a complete stranger," she said and sent him a friendly smile. "I'm Brea. And I know who you are, I'm a friend of Sumdyl if that'll help," she said with a shrug.

When someone suddenly snapped their fingers in front of him, he turned his head and looked rather dazed at the woman sitting next to him. It didn't really get through to him at first what she was saying, but when it finally did he simply let out a slight snort before he turned his attention back to the glass. "I'm not exactly in the mood for conversing and let alone about my problems," he said. He couldn't care less who that woman was, maybe it had been a mistake to come here, maybe it had been better to have gone to the tree house.

Breanna raised her hands as if she was surrendering. "I was just trying to be friendly," she said before she put them down again and took a sip of her drink before she looked back at Jack. "You know talking can be a good thing, but if you don't want to talk, then I can gladly do it instead," she said and sent the guy a smile. "Although I have no clue what to talk about to be honest. You know, those who know me, will say that I can say a lot without actually saying anything. I suppose that's true. I just wished I could say funny things, like throw out jokes and stuff like that, but when I try to be funny it never really is," she said as she started to blabber away. "You know if you don't want to talk, then I can always read your mind," she said and leaned into him a little so no one but him could hear what she said.

Gosh that woman could talk and when she leaned in closer, he realised that he had been staring at her the whole time. Here she sat, a human and talked to him like he was just some random guy and not a werewolf, but when she said that she could always read his mind if he didn't want to talk, he looked at her with a slight raised eyebrow. "Fine, if it can make you stop talking," he said in a slight defensive way, but he couldn't help but smile a little on the inside. This woman seemed like a cheerful person and who knew, maybe she could get his mind off things. He took a sip of his drink and took a heavy sigh. "Got some marriage problems. I've moved out of the house and in with my sister. We've done it before we were married, but it was different back then. Now we've got two kids right smack in the middle of it and I don't know, things just haven't been that great lately," he said and looked at his glass again.

Breanna listened quietly to Jack and she didn't say anything right away. "I'm no Doctor Phil or anything, but what went wrong between you two?" she asked. Of course she could just read his mind if she wanted to, but she actually wanted to try and be concerned. Even though she had never met the guy before, then she knew everything about him and yet, he was extremely fascinating and to be honest, he was kinda cute. She even sent him a smile, although she was pretty sure she blushed a little. Oh gosh, she better not fall for the guy. First of all he was married and second of all he was her target. She didn't want to end up like her brother.

Planning to get at least a little bit tipsy in his trouble-making mood, Eric made his way down the street and into the bar, he then immediately sat himself down on one of the stools, next to a young woman, accompanied by a werewolf on the other side of her. He then ordered himself a drink and looked to the other person next to him, then winked. After finishing his first drink, he got a little bored and ordered another one, but also turned his attention to the woman and werewolf dude, hoping that one of them would notice him listening in on their conversation. Taking another sip of his drink, he continued to directly listen, as if he had actually been invited to join the conversation.
Jack once again sat and stared at his glass. "I don't know. I guess everything just got too much. Fayth's been doing stuff that I didn't approve off and I don't know, things just pretty much went down hill from there," he said before he finished his drink and signalled to the bartender that he wanted one more. That was when he noticed the vampire sitting on the other side of Breanna, looking like he was listening in on their conversation. "Excuse me, do you mind? This is a private conversation," he said. Sure he knew how that sounded, having a private conversation in a bar, but he wasn't exactly interested in people so obvious tried to listen in on what they talked about.

Eric grinned and looked to his glass when the werewolf finally noticed that he had been listening in to their conversation. "Fiiinally. I was wondering when you'd notice.." He slightly raised an eyebrow and turned his head back to look at the guy, giving him a very mocking sort of look. Eric was really in the mood to create some trouble, or just, start something of some sort. Perhaps a little bar fight maybe, and he didn't really care if it was between himself or the werewolf or others beating on others etcetera, he just wanted to cause plain old trouble. Eric continued to stare at the guy. "You look like the sort of guy who has a short temper." He nodded at him, still mocking, then lifted up his glass to take a sip.
Jack raised an eyebrow and stared at the vampire. Gosh what an annoying bloodsucker. "Oh do I?" he asked. Who on earth did that guy think he was. "Well I'm not here to pick a fight with anyone and if you try any funny business, I have the Head Bellator on speed dial," he said, shaking a head a little. Gosh what a moron. Jack turned his attention back to his own drink that had been placed in front of him and he took a sip of it.

Eric chuckled casually. "Oh what a typical response. Don't try me, don't try me! I'll tell on you...PA-lease, I've come across that sort of threat way too many times." Eric tilts his head at the guy, leaning into the bar so he could see him better. "Come on, throw something better at me. Please??" He taunts the werewolf, then finishes off his drink, still managing to keep eye contact with the guy. "It would be really nice if you responded, it's very rare for me to ask a question and say please at the end." He adds, then looks to the girl for a moment, then back to the werewolf, making a stupid face towards him.
Jack shook his head a little. He couldn't believe this guy. "Well you can talk all you want, but don't expect me to start a fight," he said and shook his head. "Think I better get home, and I'll call the Head Bellator on the way, making sure she knows that there is a potential trouble maker in the area," he said. Then he looked to Breanna and gave her a smile. "It was a pleasure meeting you," he said and got back on his feet. Maybe he should make sure the human girl came home all right, he didn't really want to leave her with that prick.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
