Richard's back was against a concrete wall his wrists and anckles chained to pipeing as his chest was covering in whip lashings. The cry of of an iron door was the thing that woke him. Slowly lifting his head, his eye and cheek swelled from his beatings a small cut on his lip as well. He wasn't sure how long he had been here but long enough for his early injuries to have fully healed so most likely a week or so. "You know, you are very hard to break Mr. Hunter. Your father must have taught you very well." Richard's captor said in a heavy French accent. "But I'm afraid that we are on a very tight schedule and can't afford anymore delays." Ben-Gurion Alvise waved his hand and two other vampires brought in a wolf. A wolf that was Richard's wife Eileen. Richard's eyes widened as a snarl escaped his throat as he restrained against his bounds. "You son of a bitch!!!" Richard spat at Ben's smug smile. The two vampires that dragged Eileen laid her on a steel table. She had caked blood along the edge of her hair line and Richard's heart sank to his stomach as he yanked on his chains again. "Let her go Ben!" He demanded as the two vampires left and Ben walked over to Eileen. As Ben's hand raised to move a strand of hair from her neck Richard snarled and felt the shift coming, but he would be in even more pain with how he was positioned limbs spread. "She is such a beautiful woman isn't she. Such a shame that your to selfish." Ben said his finger tips running over her jugular vein. Richard's eyes kept going from Eileen's face to Ben's hand as he reached over to a steel tray with surgical items on it. His eyes widened when Ben took hold of a scalple. "You bastard, don't you dare!" Richard screamed hoping that Eileen would open her eyes, but she didn't even as Ben ran the tip of the blade along her neck. It was when Ben made the first cut that Richard awoke. He couldn't catch his breath a perspiration beaded his forehead and face. Running his hands over his chest he felt the scares from the whip, but when he looked over to Eileen she was unharmed. The early morning sun was starting to slip threw the window and the birds were singing. Throwing his legs over the edge of the bed Richard ran his fingers threw his hair as he tried to calm his heart beat and stop his trembling as he sat there.

Eileen had been sound asleep, what awoke her was the feeling that something was wrong. Turning onto her side she looked over to where her husband was sitting on the edge of the bed trembling slightly. Eileen moved silently to where he was and wrapped her arms around him as she leaned against his back, she kissed his shoulder but didn't say a word. There had been something she has been meaning to tell him for the past couple of days but now did not seem like the time to tell him. "What was the dream this time?" she asked as she gave him a gentle squeeze, she hated to see his dreams trouble him like this.

Richard seemed to jump slightly as his wife hugged him letting out a sigh he rested a hand on her arm. Eileen was the only one that could calm him down after one of his nightmares. When she asked what the dream was about he swallowed hard trying to clear his throat. Bringing one of her hands to his lips he kissed her hand softly and rubbed it with his thumb. "Same as before. I guise old parrinoia I suppose." He said in a voice barely above a whisper as he looked over his shoulder at her. "I'm sorry I woke you Snow." Richard said the name he gave her a few months after her shift. He felt it matched not just her coat color but also her personality. "To make it up to you I'll make breakfast, ok." He said kissing her cheek and sending her a reassuring smile.

"Breakfast sounds great, make a little extra please. I'm feeling extra hungry this morning." she told him before returning his kiss. "Hopefully your dreams will subside, well at least I hope they will because I hate seeing how they torment you so." Eileen added. Standing up she grabbed herself a silk robe and put it on over her silk night gown, tying the string about her waist as she turned on her side lamp. It was still a little dark outside, barely even six in the morning. She was getting used to early hours of waking and that would be a good thing in the long run. As they both headed to the kitchen she looked over him, taking in his mood so she could decide if she wanted to speak. Eileen fixed herself a glass of orange juice before sitting down on one of the bar stools, she had a thoughtful look on her face as she traced the rim of her glass with her index finger.

"Will do." He said standing up as she put on her silk robe. Going into the kitchen he started cutting some red and green bell peppers, being sure to keep the seeds out. Then he went to the fridge and got the eggs. It was when he was getting a bowl that Richard noticed Eileen's trance. "What is it honey?" He asked her carefully setting down two eggs on the counter. He whatched her for a moment trying to see what was bothering her but, his early morning drous hadn't worn off just yet. Without taking his eyes off of her Richard cracked the eggs and put them in the bowl along with six others. He stopped there for the moment and walked around the counter to her side lightly resting a hand on her shoulder as he listened to her.

She snapped out of it when he asked what was wrong, shaking her head in answer as she ran her fingers through her hair. When he moved over to her side she looked at him and smiled, "There's something I need to tell you, I just haven't been sure when would be the right time." she said. Turning in her seat so she could face him she took his hands in hers and looked into his eyes. Eileen couldn't help but smile "Our family is growing." she told him, "I'm pregnant." Eileen was so excited about this that she immediately hugged Richard and held onto him for a second before giving him a kiss. She was thrilled that they were finally going to add a baby to their family.

Richard felt like his heart was going to explode. Hearing that Eileen was pregnant he went on autopilot for a moment. His arms wrapping around her as she hugged him then kissed him. When manual came back on Richard's gase went to Eileen's belly. His hand followed as he put light pressure his breath coming out slow and almost quivering with excitement. A smile crept it's way to his lips and he kissed his wife resting a hand behind her head. When he pulled away he looked in her eyes his own reflecting how happy he was to be a father. "How long?" he asked her referring to how long she knew she had been pregnant.

"I have known for about a week but wasn't sure how to tell you. But I have been feeling like I was for longer than that but you know how I don't like going to the doctors so it took a while before I had the courage to go and find out." she said. Eileen was so happy now that Richard knew too, they were going to start a family. "I want to tell Sims and Alexandria too, we should probably get together and let them know the news." she added. Eileen had talked to Simetra a couple of days ago and had learned that Simetra's mother was in town so Eileen would have to be sure to watch her temper if she was ever around. The smile on her face grew as she took Richards hands in hers and pressed them to her stomach, "I can't believe this is really happening." she whispered.

"I think that would be a good idea to tell them." he said chuckling softly as his wife pressed his hands to her belly. Richard's heart raced till he wrapped his arms around Eileen and kissed her deeply slowly trailing his lips down her neck to where his mark was. "I hope that our child is more like you than me." He whispered against her neck his hands moving lightly over her silk robe pausing briefly at the band around her waist. A smile played at the corners of his mouth as he looked in her eyes his love for her and the child she carried clear as day in his own. "How does an omlet sound Snow?"

"An omlet sounds great." she answered as she watched him get up to make it. "Simetra's mother is in town and based on what Sims told me she isn't playing nice. I still have problems with my anger...it seems to trigger my shifting a lot so we should try to keep me away from her. There is no telling what might happen if I get a hold of that woman." Eileen told Richard, she didn't know what kind of damage would happen to her baby if she shifted and she didn't want to find out but that woman irked her nerves and if she caused problems with Sims Eileen would deal with it personally. Getting up she walked over behind Richard and wrapped her arms around him, kissing his neck as she took in his scent. "I want our child to be like you." she told him.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
