It had been quite dull around the chateau without her nieces Nora and Louisa to keep her company. So today instead of sitting around the house or yard with her nose in a book Lillian found herself at the jazz house. She was feeling in a jazzy sort of mood today, the dim lighting seemed to suit her. Lillian had a mug of animal blood in front of her as she sat in one of the booths with her eyes closed just listening to the band play. Her mind trailed to Jake and then to her friend Bonnie who was getting planning on expanding her family. Running her fingers through her hair with a sigh she sat up, opened her eyes and downed her mug of blood. With her hunger sedated she summoned for a waitress, "I would like a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon please." she said and the waitress gave a small nod before going to get the drink. Lillian couldn't believe the thoughts she was having in her head right now but as she sat there listening to the music she couldn't help but think them.

Simetra went down to the Jazz House to relax and listen to the music playing. Although she had been avoiding this place, ever since meeting her mother, she decided that it didn't really matter anymore. If she saw the cruel woman here, she'll just ignore her. Just because they're related obviously didn't mean anything to the older witch, so why should it to Simetra? When she got there, she saw a familiar face sitting in one of the booths, and smiled. "Long time no see, friend," she said, walking up. She gave Lillian a smile, but she could see there was something on the girl's mind. She wasn't going to pry though. "How have you been?"

Lillian looked up when she heard the familiar voice and a small smile appeared on her face as Simetra sat down. "I have been good. A lot of stupid things on my mind these days and with nothing to really take up time it stinks." she said. Taking a sip of her wine she sat back in her chair and let out a huff of air. "I need your advice darling. It seems like all my friends are moving forward in life, finding their significant other and planning families while I'm doing nothing. I have had so many years to find the one. I certainly think Jake is that guy but now I have this yearning to move forward with him. Do you know what I mean?" she asked as Lillian looked to Sims, it wasn't the best way she could put all this into words but it was the best she could do.

Simetra listened as Lilly spoke about what has been bothering her. But when she asked her for advice, Simi couldn't help but give a nervous laugh. "Uhhh... Not sure what to tell you, really," she answered. "My sister calls me 'commitment-phobic' so..." She laughed again and sighed. "But, it doesn't mean I haven't learned a thing or two from other people." She leaned back in the booth to get comfortable before continuing. "Moving forward and settling down means different things to different couples. I mean, before my amnesia, my sister told me I ran away with a guy when I was seventeen, practically wanting to marry the dude. Now, not sure if I'll ever meet him again..." Simetra paused on the thought before continuing on. "Tell me more about your guy. Let's see if we can break this down for ya." She gave her friend a sincere smile, hoping she was being helpful somehow.

"He is everything that I'm not. Strong, dark, mysterious, a fighter..... I love him and the fact that he is my opposite. You would have to meet him to truely know what he is like because it is hard to explain." Lillian told Simetra, just thinking about Jake had her heart fluttering and if it could beat it would probably beat right out of her chest. Finishing off her drink she looked at Sims and smiled, "You just know when you found the one and in all my years of life I have never had that until I met Jake. I just don't know what the future holds for us." she added. Someone brought her another drink and she sent them a small nod. Wetting the tip of her index finger and running it along the rim of the glass just to hear it sing.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
