Ezio still had much time to explore the whole town and everything in it. He had to anylize everything that kept the town going, all of it's highlights and all of it's downsides. This time, he walked into an antique shop. Ezio lightly smiled as he looked around at everything, until he spotted the paintings and other artworks. He immediately walked over to the section and examined every single picture that was on display. However, only one stood out at him. He thinned out his lips and picked it up. "Why does this seem so farmilliar?" Ezio was starting to get a bit confused. First, Sumdyl's mask looked so farmilliar that it wasn't funny, and now, the painting that he held in his hands. He glanced around looking for the owner or a staff member of the store, but spotted nobody. Ezio placed the painting back down gently and looked around for more exciting items. He dwelled near the counter as he looked over all the weapons that looked ancient and beautiful.

With Mark upstairs manning the desk, Sophia had spent the last hour sorting out the office that had been left like a bomb site after Annabell had trashed the place, luckily Sophia had managed to sort out the shop, or rather, she had cleared away all of the damage and mess, and had arrange for more items to be sent to the shop, from the warehouse that she had. To Sophia, the shop looked empty, and though she didn't think that there was any point in them being open today, she knew that she needed to be, considering that Mark still had to make a living. Looking up from the papers that she had in her hand when she heard the door open and close, Sophia then glance to her watch, seeing that it was lunch time. Filing away the papers, Sophia took up her mug of human blood, and made her way upstairs. Usually she would never drink blood at the shop, but considering that the baby needed human blood and it seemed to keep her stress levels down, Sophia didn't she the problem with it. "You can get some lunch if you want Mark." she explained smiling softly. As her loyal employee collected his things and made his way out of the shop, Sophia took a seat behind the counter, briefly glancing to the other vampire that was browsing through what little items there was in the shop.

Ezio looked over at a guy who had just swiftly walked out the door, then a lady came over to the counter and sat down behind it. He slowly stepped over to the front of the counter, everything was quiet so his footsteps sounded loud. "Excuse me perdere...But I was wondering if you know anything about the picture over in the painting section. The one with the fireworks..." He gestured over to the painting section. "It just seems, to appeal to me in a very strange way." Ezio tapped his fingers on the desk a couple of times before straightening his back from leaning over onto the counter.

Sophia didn't look up from the papers that she had in her hands when the vampire approached the desk, enquiring about one of the paintings. Sophia knew which one he was talking about, everyone seemed to enjoy the painting, however no one wanted to buy it. "It's a relatively modern painting, compared to the rest of the paintings that we have... it was painted by an American artist in the early 20th century." she explained, taking up a pen and crossing something out on the paper that she was reading, frowning a little. Sophia then looked up to the vampire, a curious look on her face. "It has a way of drawing people in, due to the dark background and the vivid coloured, it has also been preserved very well." she explained, scratching the back of her head a little, briefly glancing over to the painting in question, before turning back to face the vampire.

Ezio was thrown off by the fact that an American had painted the picture, and it was also a very recent painting. "Americano. Are you certain?" He half frowned as he walked over to the painting. "It is not just that it appeals to me, it just seems so farmilliar. Like I have seen it before, a very long time ago." Ezio picked up the painting and examined it once more. "This picture has been painting with brilliant hands. It is near perfect and it is inspiring." A small impressed smile formed on his lips. "I will take the painting, regardless of it's history." Ezio smiled as he took the picture over to the counter.

Sophia frowned a little when the man questioned her, she hated being doubted and what with her mood swings being quite so erratic at the moment, it wasn't the smartest move that this vampire could pull, however Sophia wasn't about to take it out on him, as he wasn't to know that she was indeed pregnant, and he was a customer that wanted to actually buy something. "That'll be $150." she said, pulling out a receipt booked, quickly filling in the details of the item and the payment, she was nothing but efficient. Once she had filled in all the details, Sophia turned the book and placed the pen on top of it, pushing it slightly towards the man. "If you could just sign there."

Jessica always tried to dig up the gossip and this wasn't any different. She had been investigating this Sophia La Roux, now Nóillión's family history and apparently she had a human relative, who was now in the police's custody after some turmoil in the antique shop, so Jessica had seen it as her assignment to get all the dirty talk on the event and who else to look up that one of the main characters in the story. As usual she was wearing a pair of ten inch heels that made her huge to look at. A tight black skirt that went just below her knees, a slight transparent white blouse with black dots on and a black corset underneath. For once she wasn't wearing any hat, although she could have used one in this heat. As she stepped into the shop, there was a customer, so Jessica simply walked around and brushed a finger over the few items there were as if to check if they were dusty. She glanced now and again towards the counter where Sophia stood. A slight smirk spread on Jessica's violently red lips. Her red hair practically lit up the place. She hadn't forgotten the last time she had encountered Sophia, but that didn't scare her one bit.

Though Sophia was watching Jessica as intently as she could, Sophia was aware that she shouldn't let herself get worked up by the red head. On previous occasions it wouldn't have mattered, but what with her being pregnant now, Sophia knew that she had to try and keep herself calm. Sophia was curious as to why Miss Merrick had decided to come to the shop today, it was probably to do with what was going on with Arthur and the whole ordeal with the shop, sighing a little, Sophia turned her attention back to her customer, though every now and again, Sophia would look over to Jessica, as if she was making sure that she wasn't going to try any thing funny. "If you're not here to enjoy the antiques Miss Merrick, I'd prefer it if you leave." Sophia finally said, tapping her finger a little on the makeshift counter that she had managed to salvage, considering the glass one had been one of the casualties of Annabell's rampage.

Ezio lightly smiled as he handed the lady the money, then turned his attention to the book that he had to sign. He hadn't had signed anything for quite some time, not for payments anyways. He let out a sigh and delicately signed the page. Ezio's signature did not appear as his name like most signatures, instead, it was just a unique pattern. "Ringrazio la mia signora." Ezio slightly bowed before picking up the painting, then he turned his attention to the other woman that had just entered the shop. The woman behind the counter had seemed uneasy the whole duration that he had been in the store, but now she seemed more distressed. Ezio just might stick around for a moment.

Jessica turned her attention to Sophia when she spoke. One of many things that people didn't know was that she actually did love antiques and she had quite the collection back home, but she wasn't here to buy anything, not today. "It's not exactly the best commercial you do for your shop being like that. Until further notice, I can be a potential customer,," Jessica said before she turned her attention to the chair she had looked at. She would guess it was from the 19th century and in a really good condition. It would look lovely in her office back home if it was. She walked around it a couple of times before she moved on to some of the other objects in the shop.

Looking to Jessica and sighing a little, Sophia then turned her attention down to the receipt book, tearing off the store copy and putting it in the cash register along with the money that she had been given for the painting. Slamming the till drawer though unintentional, Sophia watched Jessica as she inspected one of the few pieces of furniture left in the shop. Sophia wasn't up for another clash with Jessica, already feeling a headache coming on. "Might I just say then... Miss potential customer, that there is more furniture arriving through the week." she explained, not taking her eyes of the inventory list that she had since picked up. Though there was still a lot to do to get the shop fully functioning again, things were starting to get back on track, which was good, considering Sophia didn't think that she could take any more stress, not at the moment.

Ezio just minded his own business for the moment, but he couldn't help but listen to their small conversation. It was obvious that the woman behind the counter already knew the woman from somewhere else and didn't seem to get along too well with her. He had nothing else to do, so he just continued to finnish looking around at all the pretty antiques. Ezio cautiously held the painting in his arms, like he was protecting it with his life. Even though there wasn't much to look at in each section, he still took his time examining all of the small trinkets and other things.

Jessica eyes fell on the guy who seemed to be staying in the shop even after he had bought something. She narrowed her eyes a little, probably a thief who was scouting out the place, and then he was short, well when she had her ten inch heels on. Looking up to Miss Merrick when she asked what had happened, Sophia put down the papers that she had in her hand, briefly looking towards the man that she had just served, he was obviously wanting to stay and watch the shop, but Sophia was getting a little tired, and was beginning to wonder when Mark would actually come back. "As much as I would like to say that we have indeed sold everything in such a short space of time, that is unfortunately not the case." she started, focus her attention back to Jessica, she was being unusually nice today, but Sophia was aware that it was probably just so that she could get her scoop on what's been going on at the shop. "A couple of nights ago the shop was broken into and trashed by some blonde piece of trash, the police are dealing with her now... anything else you'd like to know?" she asked, tilting her head to one side, looking over to Jessica. Sophia didn't care that it was none of the reporters business, and she didn't care who's name got tarnished, as far as she was concerned Arthur was worth the trouble any more.

Sophia could feel herself becoming a little agitated with Jessica, but after their last encounter Sophia was trying to keep herself calm, especially since the stress would be affecting the baby too, which seemed to make her feel worse. Taking an unneeded breath, Sophia returned the stare that Jessica was giving her, though soon looked away, rubbing her temples a little. "Arthur was arrested for theft and drugs possession and as far as I'm aware, he's no relative of mine." she explained, tapping her fingers on the counter sighing a little. Though it pained her to say, Sophia was close to washing her hands completely of Arthur, she was tired of having her help thrown back in her face. "I assume that you want to know how it is that I have a human descendant... I was married and had a child before I was turned, Arthur is the result of that... anything else you want to know, perhaps that Arthur is hooked on drugs or that he's following in his father's footsteps, or maybe you'd like to ask me something about Leo and I, the fact that I'm preg-" Sophia just managed to cut herself off before she finished what she was saying, though she was pretty sure that Jessica would have heard what she had been about to say. Sophia looked down to the counter frowning a little, she really needed to keep her emotions in check.

Ezio could sense that the tension between the two was starting to build up. He had never like unecessary bickering, although, it wasn't quite bickering just yet. He still didn't like the attitudes though. Ezio looked over his shoulder as the woman behind the counter cut off her last sentence. He raised an eyebrow at what she was going to say. Ezio looked over the two as he made his way back over to them. He turned to the woman with the big shoes. "I know it may not be my business, but it is a habit of mine to listen in to conversations." Ezio wasn't going to explain why he had a habit of eavesdropping. "Please, can you not see that you are distressing this poor woman? If I were you, I would make haste and split, along with your, shoes." Ezio suggested, raising his eyebrows slightly with the last word.

Sophia looked up when the man that she had just served stepped between the two women, though Sophia would have been flattered that a stranger wanted to help on any other day, but today she was slightly pissed off already so it felt like the man thought that Sophia couldn't handle herself, and she was more than capable of doing that. "I thank you Sir for your concern, but this really is none of your business, you have your painting and unless there is anything else that I can get for you... I'd like it if you could leave me and Miss Merrick here to our 'conversation'." she explained in quite a toneless voice. As much as Sophia hated Jessica, what she had to say to her was private and none of this man's business, or anyone else's for that matter.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
