Sophia had rang the hospital and made an appointment to see Paloma. This would be Sophia's first official check up since her and Leo found out that she was pregnant again. In all truth she would have liked to have already been checked over sooner than this, but what with the wedding and everything that had been happening with Arthur and the shop.
Letting the receptionist know that she was here, Sophia took a seat in the waiting room, briefly looking around at some of the other people that were waiting to be seen, noticing the heavily pregnant woman at the end of the row of seats. Looking down to her own relatively flat stomach, Sophia sighed a little her hand gently rubbing her belly. This morning Sophia had woken up in a bad mood, she had hardly slept at all last night, the shop playing on her mind all night. Then when she had woken and had tried to get hold of the insurance company, Sophia had ended up throwing her phone against a wall, having been that pissed off at them. Now thinking about it, Sophia could feel herself getting agitated again, she knew that all this stress wasn't good for the baby, but right now she couldn't help it. Looking down to her watch, Sophia looked towards the entrance, of course she had told Leo that she would be booking a check up for today, but she knew that he was extremely busy with his duties and all so she wasn't really expecting him to turn up, which she understood, that didn't mean to say that she would be happy with him if he didn't turn up, duties or no duties, this was his child as much as it was hers.

Leo hadn't forgotten about the check up and he hurried as fast as he could, he opened the door to the waiting room and looked around and saw Sophia sitting in one of the chairs. He walked over to her and sat down next to her. "I came as fast as I could," he said and gave her a kiss on the cheek. No way was he going to miss out this and Lea had said it was okay for him to leave the meeting before time, besides he didn't want to listen to Sophia's rampage afterwards and he knew how she was feeling lately, it was hitting him like shock waves and this time wasn't any different. He sat slightly uncomfortable and closed his eyes as if to focus on something else so the emotions that hit him weren't too overpowering.

Sophia hadn't been paying too much attention, so when Leo entered and took a seat next to her in the waiting room, she jumped ever so slightly, turning to look at him as he leant back with his eyes closed. Of course she knew that he would be able to fell everything that she was at the moment, and she knew that it must be difficult for him, but she couldn't help her emotions at the moment, though she did try and calm herself down. "For a moment there, I thought that you weren't going to come." she said, turning slightly to face Leo, smiling softly. She then placed a hand on his knee giving it a gentle squeeze, hoping that he wasn't being quite as bombarded with her emotions, considering she had completely cleared her mind of the shop, getting quite excited about the check up now.

Leo took in an unneeded breath and blew out before he opened his eyes and looked at Sophia. How he was dealing with the aftermath of it all, he felt terrible, but none the less he gave her a little smile. "And miss getting the first view of the little one, no way," he said and gave her a kiss, before he leaned back, a headache was starting to form in his head. He didn't really know how to deal with this. So far it was only his siblings and Sophia who affected him, but he was pretty sure it would soon evolve to everyone who came near him, he practically kept his eyes away from the other people who sat in the waiting room.

Sophia kept a smile on her face, even if she was a little concerned about Leo, after all, he seemed to be affected more and more by her emotions and they were all over the place at the moment, and there was nothing that she could do about it, even if she did try and keep them under wraps when she was around Leo. As Leo kept his eyes low, Sophia took up her handbags and started to rifle through her things, finally coming across what she wanted, handing the packet of aspirin to Leo, assuming that he had a headache, as he usually did when she was stressed. "There has to be something that you can do to block people's emotions... you can't go on any longer like this, cause my emotions are only going to get worse." she explained looking to Leo a little, before reaching for one of the mother and baby magazines to the side of her. Keeping her mind off the shop, Sophia flipped through the pages, stopping here and there, reading through a couple of the articles, before stopping on a page filled with prams and the like. Though Sophia had already chosen the type of pram that she wanted, there was no harm in looking, as she did love shopping after all.

Leo took the asprins and headed over to a water cooler and took a cup of water he could down them with, before he headed back to his seat and leaned back and closed his eyes. "I'm trying, but it's hard when the emotions I feel are so intense," he said and rubbed his temples. He wasn't blaming Sophia for this, but he had a hard time to focus when the emotions that hit him were too strong. He had to asked Lea how she did it, cause he couldn't keep going like this. He let out a sigh, maybe if he distressed Sophia it would help on his emotions, of course it would mean he would loose his memory and he didn't want that.

Paloma opened the door and let the guy who had been with her out. After she had said her goodbyes she scanned the waiting room until she saw Sophia and Leo. "Sophia and Leo? You are up next," Paloma said and gave them both a smile and shook their hands as they came. As soon they were inside she closed the door after them and sat down behind her desk and gestured towards to chairs. "I guess a congratulation is in order. Hope you have a great wedding," Paloma said and gave them both another smile.

Putting the magazine down that she had been reading, when their names were called out, Sophia made her way into the room, smiling back to Leo before taking a seat in front of the desk, placing her bag down on the floor by her feet. "It was a beautiful day." she explained in response to what Paloma had said. Sophia had loved every minute of the big day, well everything apart from Arthur turning up and anything that happened after that, but none of that mattered now; what mattered was that her and Leo were now married. Sitting a little forward in her chair, Sophia looked to Leo slightly, a smile at her lips as she took his and in hers.

Paloma gave them both a smile and then put her hands together and leaned back in her seat and folded her hands. "Well then, how have you been feeling Sophia? Anything out of the ordinary, things that's been worrying you, you need to get clarified or something?" Paloma asked and leaned forward again, placing her arms on the edge of the desk as she looked at Sophia. It was nice to get an insight in how the mother to be was feeling, if there was anything that Paloma had to check or look for. A pretty standard prosedure before they headed over and got her scanned.

When Sophia was asked how she had been feeling, she briefly looked to Leo before turning her attention back to Paloma, a little smile at her lips, Paloma could have just have well asked Leo that question, Sophia knew that he would be able to answer just as well as she could. "What haven't I been feeling. Its safe to say that I've been a bit stressed recently, what with the wedding and now work stuff, and the morning sickness as bit a little severe at times... but its getting a little better now... I am a little worried that I'm not getting the right food intake." she explained still looking to Paloma, though Sophia wasn't all too worried about the whole food thing, she did know that the baby needed certain things, the only issue was that if she ate too much it would come back up again, and Sophia was getting to the point where she was scared of being sick, it hurting sometimes. "I've been having headaches too, but I assume that that's down to the whole stress thing." she explained shrugging her shoulders a little. Sophia had gotten used to the fact that on occasion she would get these mind numbing headaches, and would generally sleep them off if they got too bad.

Paloma listened quietly as Sophia spoke about how she had been doing over the last month. "What about blood, are you on animal or human?" Paloma asked as she looked at Sophia. It was important that the baby got the human blood, after all it wasn't born human, so it didn't have its own blood to generate with except from Sophia's. She knew that vampires who only lived out of animal blood could have a difficulty drinking human blood, sure the mother would get affected by it a little, but most of it would go to the baby.

Again looking to Leo a little, Sophia sighed ever so slightly. She had been having 'issues' with the whole human blood cravings, something that she wasn't used to or comfortable, considering that she knew how it affected Leo too. "I've only just started to give into the cravings so to speak... I still have the animal blood more on principle than anything else, though it usually comes back up, a lot of stuff does at the moment." she explained giving Leo's hand a gentle squeeze. Sophia then moved her free hand to her stomach rubbing it gently, a sudden urge of hunger rushing over her, not that she wanted to rush the scan or anything, but she kind of wanted some of Leo's Pancakes, with bananas and syrup.

Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.


New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
