leco was done making his "dolls" for the day and had left the fair he was on top of a tall building used for multiple purposes. he was standing and watching the civilions commence. "oh those with strings you won't have to wait long for your destiny's thread to be cut" he said with a smile on the building. he saw there was a weapons shop nearby. using magneto kinesis leco has all the weapons break the glass of the shop and land in the ground all around the town square. using his magneto kinesis made him start tearing blood making it look like he was crying the liquid. "you all are useless as dolls" he said to himself. of course leco would talk to himself.
he then placed his hands in the air above the area. he started use his puppetry. and singing the rhythm from london bridge.
"london bridge is falling down falling down falling down london bridge is falling down my fair lady build it up with blood and bone blood and bone blood and bone build it up with blood and bone my fair lady" he sung with a smile keeping his eye on the towns people
controling the towns people he made them pick up the knives they all started to dance in a circle while stabbing each other. even after they died he controlled their bodies to make them keep up the dance. the last man who was truly alive he tochered the most he was in the middle of the circle surrounded by the dancing corpses using the knife in the mans hand the puppeteer started to make him debone his legs while awake. leco was comfortable on top of the building.

It wasn't often Lestat and Laurant were out during the day and even less when the sun was showing. So it was quite a peculiar vision that met people who walked past them or drove by on the street. Two identical men, walking around in large black cloaks, their faces barely visible under the hoods they had pulled over their white wigs, each holding a black umbrella over them so they were completely shaded from the warm sun, not to mention a pair of very large black sunglasses as well. They had been on their way back to their hotel when their attention was drawn to the town square. Screams from people who looked from afar sounded, police sirens started to sound in the distance as well as sirens from ambulances. The two brothers stopped in their pace and observed the scene that played before them. It was clear that someone made the people do that. Laurant immediately started to scout the minds in the area until he came to one particular. He leaned his head back and looked up towards a building where he could see someone stand on the roof top. A cruel smile crept over his thin and dry lips. "Brother look up, what do you see?" Laurant asked. Lestat looked up towards where Laurant's eyes rested, a smile swept over Lestat's features as well. "Hello little figure, what are you doing?", Laurant's thoughts appeared in Leco's mind. Laurant tilted his head a little as he looked up at the figure. Lestat on the other hand had moved his attention to the people on the square. Looking rather amused as if he was seeing a very funny play.

leco noticed police coming and ambulences. using more puppetry he messed with the steering of the vehicles causing them to crash into stores causing many builings to catch on fire. when police survived the crashes he had them shoot them selves in the leg and then made them sit down and debone their legs by forcing them to claw at their fleash while awake he then had the dancing ones juggle the bones. he then heard a thought in his head and saw a umbrella preventing his puppetry from affecting those under it. he responded to the implanted thought. "i am playing with broken dolls, wait who am i talking to? dolls don't talk, is there hay in my ear?" he said to himself. he saw that the buildings on fire had people in it and had their burnt corpses dance with the others. he ignored the umbrella people guessing they were not actually there since they did not scream or run.

Laurant smirked a little as he heard the boy's thoughts. "It's of no importance who I am. So you see humans as dolls, well you can say we are very much alike," Laurant's voice sounded in Leco's mind. Laurant kept his attention on the figure up on the roof. Maybe it was time for Laurant to have some fun, he gave his brother a nudge and they started to move towards the building on top of which the puppeteer stood.
When they finally stepped out on the roof they had shut their umbrella's down, but their hoods were still pulled over their heads, their hands were covered in dark leather gloves and their eyes were hidden between dark shades. They looked like some spooky looking monks. "Such talent," Lestat said as they stood behind Leco. "Hello Leco," Laurant said, a hint of a smile crept over his thin dry lips. They knew they couldn't stand outside like this for very long before their face would turn into a horror show as their make-up would melt away due to the heat.

Leco heard the voice and tilted his head with a curious expression.leco never thought he would hear voices after the incident at the fair. "no i see them as unmade puppets, but i make them pretty i make them into dolls. you should see my collection of dolls. that wolf had to break the place where i kept my collection so now i need new dolls. i still have not collected that doll with the purple eyes. " leco said without any emotion and of course he meant the dolls that were made from people he left back at the fair. he then saw the umbrella go inside the building he was on top of. "what now? i can't seem to remember what i am supposed to do." leco said curious
. he then sensed the presence of vampires behind him when one said he was talented he ignored it, leco did not understand what talent was supposed to accomplish he only knew of potential.when one said his name he turned around. "how do you know my name ?" he said still emotionless. he quickly generated one of his metal strings from his hand it pierced through his glove. leco being human kept his guard up around the vampires. if it got out of hand he would just use his abilities on his witnesses. for now finding out the name of the one who knew his was more important.

Laurant tilted his head a little as Leco asked how he knew his name. Then he pointed at Leco's head. "Because I can see it in there," Laurant said and lowered his gloved hand. "Do you work for anyone or do you work alone?" Laurant asked, his eyes walked over Leco, studying him in a way. He did find him very intriguing, even though Leco was human, then he could be turned into a vampire. He could be moulded into the perfect specimen of a vampire, what he was capable fascinated Laurant profoundly.

leco still confused on how his witness knew his name tilted his head and tapped his ear to find rust fall out of it caused by metalokinesis. he then took his hat off to see if there was anything inside it when he put his hand in it and found nothing he put it back on his head thinking that the vampire was pointing to his hat. When leco heard a question he could not resist to answer. "i am a entertainer and servant for Alois Troz we have a contract" he replied. of course what he meant by entertainment was the blood bath below them. him being Alois's servant also meant he was a hit man for Alois Troz who commonly made alois's opponents commit suicide with puppetry. Alois had a agreement to get leco "dolls" for his services.

Laurant couldn't help but chuckle a little as he watched Leco examine his hat. "Never heard of him, but if you work for him, I think I will have the pleasure soon," Laurant said. He had never met this Alois, but maybe he should look him up. "Ever thought of turning, you could be even more powerful than you are now. Someone with your skills could be highly appreciated in the organisation me and my brother here is part of. You could have all the people you want to play with," Laurant said and tilted his head to the other side. The heat was starting to take its toll in him and he knew it was the same for Lestat. The foundation he had put on earlier that day was starting to melt, although their faces were somewhat hidden under the hoods, it would soon be visible. The cracks in their skin like a desert that had grown hard, cracks showing.

Leco began to make his own sense in his head. Leco never cared about power but when he heard about a chance to get more dolls he jumped at it. he raised his hand and shadows soon blocked out the sun light above the vampires he saw that they did not like it but he was interested in what they had to say. rust still falling out of his hear he said "i will try to listen" which was lecos way of saying he was interested. alois found leco at a special circus that collected worlocks and witches with strange abilities. when he was told about turning he gave a simple answer " i have never seen a need for turning since i don't need to eat or sleep already, i remember the others were asked once about turning they declined" he replied with a curious fashion with rust still leaking from his ears. by others he meant the members of the circus he came from. Leco did not need to eat or sleep because of his metalokinesis.
(OOC- the members of the circus leco once belonged to will come to carpe noctum right before the war many will be placed for adoption)

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.

Carpe Noctum is the decendant of the old forum, Vampires Vs. Werewolves started by Kikyo in 2007. In 2010 we moved the forum from Proboards to vForums with success. Carpe Noctum is build over the old forum with new features and storyline attached to it.
