With the business having picked up, it had been hard to get away from the centre and get the boys out to do anything. But today, Kaitlyn had taken an executive decision to get the family out of the house and had brought them to her old place of work the zoo. Securing both baby boys into the double stroller, Kaitlyn pushed down the sunshades so that the boys would be able to see. They were only three months old, but they were growing up quickly. Now they could at least sit up and she was weening them off her milk which made feeding times a lot more easier. "Okay I was thinking that we could walk around a little then go to the cafe and have something to eat... and then make our way back?" she explained smiling softly over to her husband. Pulling the baby bag out of the back of the car, Kaitlyn placed it over the handles of the strollers and got ready to head into the zoo.

Hopping out of the car, Dastan had a happy expression on his face. He looked to Katie, then the twins, looking them over before looking back to his partner and nodding. "Of course, I'm very easy." He said to Katie, then turned around to check on Grace. "Are you keen for this Grace?" He asked her, of course, getting a positive reply. "What about you, dad?" Dastan chuckled a bit. He still had to get used to calling him dad. Once he had received his reply from Levi, he then nodded and turned back around. "Alrighty then. Everything's good?"

Kaitlyn straightened her back up a little as she looked over to Dastan, it felt strange to be going out all as one big family. Since having Dastan back and with his father now around, everything just seemed to work, it was just what she had always wanted. Kicking the brakes off the stroller, Kaitlyn started to head in the direction of the entrance. "I just hope that the boys manage to stay awake long enough to see some of the animals, I had been hoping that they would sleep in the car, but it seems that they are excited too." she explained briefly peering down to both her boys through the little peep hole in the top of the canvas, seeing that the twins were amusing themselves for the moment.

Levi smiles to Dastan. "I'm keen. Haven't been to the zoo for ages.." Then as they set off, he followed along towards the entrance. Once they had passed the entrance of the zoo, he looked to all of them. "So.. which animal are we planning to see first?" He asked, using a happy tone. Levi looked down at both of the twins, who seemed to be pretty happy about everything so far. "They haven't really been round' anywhere yet have they? Harry and George. This will be different for them." Levi said. "I wonder if there are Snow Leopards here.. I love those things." Levi added, although, it was unlikely the zoo had Snow Leopards.

Kaitlyn smiled a little and looked towards her father-in-law, it was true that the twins had spent most of their lives so far at the centre, apart from check up appointments at the medical centre, Kaitlyn had been a little anxious about taking the boys anywhere, since everything that had happened. "Well they like the horses... at least the aren't scared of them as it would make things a little difficult... I was thinking that we could just go wherever the moment takes us... I wan't to go and see my tigers though... when I used to work here I helped deliver them.. usually Zoos like this send them to other zoos, but luckily they kept them." she explained smiling softly as she looked around their new surroundings. Not a lot had changed in the time that she hadn't worked there, which was nice.

As soon as they passed through the entrance, Dastan looked at Levi as he asked where they were off to first. He couldn't stop himself from smiling when Katie started to talk about the twins and how they had been comfortable around horses and such. "Oh yes.. Almost forgot about that." He said in reply to Katie saying that she wanted to visit the Tigers and mentioned how she used to work here at the zoo. "Wow.. I remember when you showed me those Lions. Aaaand, can't forget that baby Orangutan you found.." He raised an eyebrow. "Well, why not start witht he Tigers? Let's go." He gestured for Grace to move along.

Kaitlyn smiled softly to Dastan when he said that they may as well start off at the tigers, at least they weren't too far away. As he brought up the orgutan that she had saved, Katie smiled and nodded a little, it had been so long that she had been here and a lot had happened that she had almost forgotten about that. Briefly looking over her shoulder to see if everyone was keeping up, Kaitlyn pushed the stroller in the direction of the tigers. "I can't believe its been so long since I've been here...a lot has happened over the past few years." she explained still looking around. Then looking back over to her husband, Kaitlyn smiled softly, she was thinking that they could go out to dinner or something soon. Grace was now old enough to look after herself, and well she trusted Levi to look after the twins if need be.

Grace had happily jumped out of the car with the rest of her family. She was so keen to see all of the animals and such. "Oh yeah. This should be great!" She said in reply to her dad. Then, once they had made their way through the entrance, she happily listened as her parents decided where to head to first. "I like Snow Leopards too, they are perfect animals." Grace looked up to Levi in reply to his comment about Snow Leopards. Once the decision of the first destination was made, she followed on towards the Tiger's enclosure. Grace found it interesting that her mother used to work here at the zoo, though, she was probably told stories when she was smaller, but she couldn't really remember any relating to this. "You saved a baby Orangutan? Aw.." She smiled.

Pushing the stroller, Kaitlyn turned her head a little and looked to Grace when she asked about the baby orangutan that she had saved. Smiling softly, she nodded before turning her attention the the enclosure that they were coming up to. "I hadn't seen the mother for a couple of days, and I saw that she had started to become protective over a certain area of her bed, so I managed to get to her bed and there was the little baby, we didn't even know that she had been pregnant." she explained laughing a little, remembering the moment clearly in her head. The little bundle of orange fluff had been a treat, and had taken well to the world once that had gotten it fed and the like.
