After Meg had paid for the meals that they both herself and Maggie had at MaVille, she thought that it might be a good idea to get a new job. Although, it wasn't like she was running out of money so soon, she just missed having priorities. And since she was staying with Maggie who lived just down the road on the beach side, there was no way that she would waste time looking for other jobs in crowded places like the mall or anywhere else. Today was the second day of training at the cafe, so far, she had thoroughly enjoyed working there. But there always has to be some tired and bored pain-in-the-arse person who just won't let up on talking down to people. It didn't matter so much to her yet though, because she had only just started. Cleaning out some glasses, she looked over at the manager who was enjoying themselves quite well, watching the three people work their little butts off. Meg had got the impression that the manager was nice, but also cheeky, in a very strange way. Then some giant guy walked up to the counter from out of nowhere. Apparently it was her duty to take some orders, so she slowly walked over to the counter and looked up at the tall man, a little intimidated, she didn't know what sort of attitude to expect from from him. "Uhh, hey there what would you like?"

Eugene had a few hours before he started working at the night club, so he decided to keep looking around town, just for fun. Walking into the beach side cafe, he approached the counter and looked down at a girl who looked a little intimidated. "Hey there, I would like...Let's see..." Joe paused and looked in the window just to left where there were cakes and slices and things. When he saw a doughnut, his eyes widened. "Oh man, I gotta have me one of those doughnuts right there." Joe said joyfully. "Oh, and a chocolate milkshake..." He said joyfully to the girl. "I'm not that scary am I?" Joe asked her, because he wanted to know if he was more scary than good-looking.

Meg's nervous expression slowly disappeared when the guy started placing his order. He was starting to seem extremely friendly, and it seemed strange for some reason. When she was asked a question by the guy, Meg let out a laugh. "Are you kidding? You aren't scary at all." She said. "If anything, you sound way to friendly for this town." She added. Meg had always been great at reading people from a little sample of their attitudes, and she could tell that this guy, was just plain friendly. "I mean..C'mon, a guy like you, ordering a chocolate milkshake..." She raised her eyebrows to go and grab some tongs to go and retrieve the doughnut that he had pointed to. Then she placed it down onto a plate and popped it in the microwave to heat it up. While she was waiting for that, she started making a chocolate milkshake.

Joe smiled down at her when she said that he wasn't scary at all, he even laughed when she commented on the fact that he had ordered a chocolate milkshake. "Awesome..I guess you took me for the go to a bar and drink all day type huh?" He chuckled a little and watched as the doughnut went around in circles in the microwave. Then when it was done, she placed a tall glass of milkshake in front of him on the counter, then got out the doughnut and placed it down aswell. "Coolio's...Much abliged ma'am." He gestured before moving so that he could pick up the milkshake and doughut, but he was stopped.

"Well, there you go..." She said, and gestured for him to take his food. "Oh. Wait.." She raised a finger and scooted over to get a brown tray so that it was easier to carry to drink and very hot plate with a doughnut on it. "Almost forgot..Can't have you picking up a boiling hot plate and burning the crap out of your hand.." She raised her eyebrows. "Sorry about that, this is my second day." Meg said to the guy. "Enjoy now, and I'll see you around, you won't be that difficult to find." She said and nodded, then went back to cleaning glasses. While doing so, she thought of Maggie and Holden, she wasn't sure why, but, they both just popped up into her mind.
