Wandering Mind - Posted By Artemys Wolf Vladimir (artemys) on 12th Jul 11 at 1:12am
Artemys and Anat were walking around the grounds talking of all the plans. It wasn't anything important but just life plans. Artemys was ready for the new addition to the Vladimir family to arrive and her hand rested on her stomach as her and Anat walked and caught up on things. It was great to be out in the fresh air while Edward handled all the business in the house. Lately Artemys hadn't been as much help as she probably should be and she felt bad about that, telling herself that after she got done spending time with Anat that she would go and help Edward as much as possible. Snapping out of her daze she noticed that Anat was staring at her and asking a question, it took a moment to catch what was being asked and Art had to shake her head to clear it. "Yes... yes I'm fine. Just got lost in thought I guess." she said as she gave Anat a reassuring smile before continuing their walk.

Alexandria had finally recovered fully from Venice and was making her usual rounds along the Vladimir estate. Only tonight she had a little helper. Marcus was walking not too far behind her as his little wolf form. He was so adorable that she couldn't help but smile. Her son could have passed for a rather fat rabbit. She was going through the garden area when she heard the voices of Artemys and Anat not too far off. Shifting wolf Alex carefully picked up her son by the scruff of his neck and carried him out of the garden just in time to meet the lady of the house and a fellow Vinculum Unit member. As she set her son down Alex shifted human her smile still on her face. "Evening ladies, what brings you out here tonight? Thought most of everyone was inside making planes." Alex asked as Marcus shifted human and reached up to his mother for her to pick him up, which she did setting him on her hip when she noticed Artemys' belly. "Your coming right along it seems Art, how far are you?" She asked again remembering the long six months that she was pregnant with her son.

Artemys looked at Alexandria and smiled, "I haven't been much help lately with all the planning so I decided that I should go for a walk and what better company than Anat and now you." she said with a smile. Artemys reached over and tousled Marcus's hair some, "Hey cutie. I have a gift for you back at the house." she told him. He was growing up quite fast. "Perhaps it would be best to give it to you later but it is something that you can help him learn to use Lexi." she added. Then she placed a hand on her belly "I don't really keep track of how long it is been. Probably I would say about three months." she said, finally answering Alexandria's question. Beginning the walk again she started to head in the direction of the flower garden. Even though it was night it was still a beautiful sight.

Alex smiled wider when Art tossled Mark's hair saying that she had something for him. His eyes lit up like it was christmas morning till Artemys said that he would get it later. When they started walking again Alex walked on her right side as she set Marcus down on the ground still holding his hand. "I can't believe what all is going on in this town. I've been here for about a year, and already things are going down hill." Alex said more to herself then to Anat or Artemys. She wanted all of this over with already, and she most certainly didn't want her son in the battle. Alex knew that Selena was going away because she was pregnate, she would have to talk to her later. "Full moon tonight, most of the wolves in the Unit have either stayed home or are out hunting I think. I've only seen a few wolves here." Alex said trying to clear her mind when Marcus suddenly ripped his hand away from her shifted to his little wolf and ran off, only to return with, what appeared to look like a rat, in his teeth.

Anat hadn't really talked much, just letting Artemys and Alexandria do all the talking. When Marcus shifted and ran off returning with a rat she smiled and chuckled, "He has turned into to quite the little hunter." she said. "He should go hunting with me one day and of course you too Lexi, help him see how the enemy moves when on the prowl....help him get a sense of the vampires." she added. Some werewolves didn't really know much about vampires ways, they just learned on the battlefield when it was too late. One of the benefits of being with Edwards team was being able to train with werewolves and humans, it really helped her get a better understanding of how they moved in the hunt and battle. "I think after this big fight I'm going to leave town. I don't know, I have been in one place for too long." Anat said with a shrug of her shoulders. She hadn't spoken of this before but it was her time to move on. Maybe go to the Amazon and get in touch with the vampire tribe she knew out there. "I was thinking perhaps that you, Alexandria, could take my place here." she added.

Art looked at Anat, you could tell she was shocked at what Anat had said. "I had no idea that you were planning on leaving us. I doubt you have talked to Edward about it. Perhaps, Anat, you will change your mind and stay, don't be too hasty with your decision." she told her friend. Artemys would hate to see her go but she wouldn't keep her here against her will, that just wouldn't be fair. Deciding to change the topic she looked at Alexandria and smiled, "What is it like being a parent? I know it has to be hard at times but it must be fantastic. Already I feel a bond with my child." she asked Lexi. Artemys was ready to start a family with Edward. True everyone here was her family but the thought of having a child of her own made her smile and gave her butterflies on the inside.
