Maeve was walking deep into the woods, the trees' shadows covering her path. Witches have been hiding their magickal works in the forest for ages, she was no different. But unlike many, she had a more darker intention. She had arrived to Carpe Noctum under orders, to watch the circle of the city, and its inhabitants. Maeve didn't mind in the least. She loved any chance to get back to the witches of light. They denied her what she wanted and they would pay. But for now, she had to lay low and get close, something she has no problem with. But for now, she was going to make her mark in the town, dipping into the darker magicks she's buried herself and her daughter for years.
"One, two, something's coming for you..." she sang softly, her voice casting an eerie sense in the woods. "Three, four, better lock your doors..."

Breanna sat on a large rock and let the leaves on the ground float in mid air around her, it almost looked like she was sitting in the middle of a leave tornado as she made them move around her. Breanna had said goodbye to her mentor the other day as Aya headed out of town again, but she reassured Breanna that she would return soon, since then Breanna had been busy at work with getting her hexes and such done. Maybe she should just risk it all and do it at home, it was just a risk of followed a hex back to her place and she didn't want that. Right now she sat quietly in her own thoughts going over what on earth she should do.

Maeve continued walking until she came up to an odd sight. She saw leaves moving around, when there was no wind around. She looked up and noticed a young woman sitting on a rock amidst the center of the swirling leaves, and by the magickal pull, she figured the leaves were her doing. "Having fun?" she asked aloud. Maeve wasn't one for watching in silent shadows. She likes to have people know she's there. Though she had to admit, she was fairly curious why the young witch was out alone in the woods. Most good witches like to be safe in their homes at this hour.

Breanna turned her head a little and saw a red haired woman standing near by, clearly one with magic in her or she would have freaked out by now. "Tons," she said and returned her gaze more intensely on the leaves until they fell to the ground and moved it to a small rock below the one she sat on and saw how it levitated as well. "You are new, not many comes to the forest these days, just because one cries wolf, everyone starts running," she said and then a dark smirk spread on her face. The rock landed on the ground with a throb and she looked back at the woman again, tilting her head a little. "It's not a safe place out here, so you better be careful," she said still with that smirk on her lips. There was something about this woman, something different, something dark. Breanna knew one when she saw them, wasn't she one of dark magic herself?

Maeve eyed the girl curiously as she spoke of dangers in the forest. Child, you better listen to your own advice when around me... she thought to herself. "What about you?" she asked, walking up to the witch. "If I cry wolf, will you run away? Or are you the bait that brings the wolf here?" There are two types of people: those who run from danger, and those who live in danger. And Maeve had a feeling this girl wasn't the former. Just by looking into her eyes, Maeve could see the crave of darkness in them, something she's used to. She smiled at the girl darkly, very intrigued by her personality. Breanna couldn't help but laugh when she caught the woman's thoughts and the laugh got even crazier when the woman asked if she was the kind to run away or if she was the bait. "Neither, I'm the one who helps the wolf," she said with a dark smile. "Breanna is the name," she said, not asking of the woman's in return, cause she had already caught that by roaming the woman's mind a little. "And just so you know, I'm not afraid of you, I know darker witches than you, since I work for one," she said with a dark smirk and a slight chuckle. Then she lifted the rock again with her telekinesis.

Maeve gave a curious look for a moment, wondering what she meant by 'helping the wolf'. But obviously, she wasn't one to tell everything, just as she was. This could be interesting... "Well, good to know we're on the same page," she replied. She wasn't one to fear others as well. It's all the matter of how you act around them. In her case, befriend them, or make them your friends. Breanna glanced towards the woman before she looked back at the levitating rock. "Thinking, for some reason I always end up getting interrupted, so I'm currently considering if I should put a disillusion spell or something where ever I'm sitting and performing my mojo," she said, one thing was for sure, she sure as heck wouldn't perform any hexes in her own home that would plain stupid on her part and that was something she wasn't. She might not have her brother's ability to learn stuff more quickly, but she was not a complete fool. Maeve shrugged her shoulders. "You could always put an aversion spell," she suggested. "So when people come close, they always find themselves walking the other direction. Very useful, and you don't have to worry about people coming in and being able to see through any illusions." She leaned up against a tree and continued to watch the girl. She seemed around the same age as her daughter, maybe a few years younger, but her wit intelligence is far more refreshing than her daughter's complaints and troubles.
When Breanna asked what was her plans for being out here, Maeve couldn't help but laugh. "No, I'm not one for animal-seeing," she said. "Unless I'm out looking for a sacrifice to strengthen my spells of true wisdom, or reveal all secrets I desire." Being raised in Ireland, one learns the ways of Celtic magick, and sacrifices were of no surprise. And although any form of sacrifice is now looked down upon, Maeve will use it here and there when she needs a super-kick to her spell.

Breanna looked thoughtful when the witch brought up an aversion spell, wasn't completely mad, she was pretty sure she had one in one of her spell books somewhere. When the woman brought up sacrificing, Breanna raised an eyebrow a little. "Gosh I haven't sacrificed anything for years. In fact I haven't done much the last couple of years, only for my own amusement," she said with a shrug, she stretched out her legs and jumped off the rock as the one that had been levitating landed on the ground again. "Well a little piece of advice, be careful out here, not so much now, but the forest will soon enough be a dangerous place to be, especially for humans, magic or no magic," she said and looked in the direction where her little house was, which reminded her to tell her brother to call first and not to just show up at her place in case Aya would be there, of course Aya would hide or move out of the back door if someone came, but Breanna didn't want Aidan to say something that would jeopardize their little secret.

Maeve raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, maybe that's a sign for you to get back to your proper magicks," she commented. She then listened as Breanna warned about the woods soon growing dangerous for anyone non-immortal. From the looks she gave, she was pretty serious about it. But Maeve doesn't get scared from warnings or threats. She has to meet the danger face-to-face. But, this doesn't mean she'll ignore the young witch; advice. More so, keep it in the forefront of her thoughts when around the area. "And you?" she asked. "I hope you will be safe. No need to have a pretty, dark little soul like yours to end up in danger." She knew she said something about helping the wolf. But sometimes, the wolf will still eat the entire herd of sheep. No exceptions.

Breanna smirked a little. Sure she knew that Aya could easily turn on her if she wasn't pleased with Breanna, but Breanna also knew that Aya was probably the person she trusted the most, right after Aidan of course. "Don't worry about me. As I said, I'm just a humble servant who does what she's told, if so I'll live, so....," she said with a shrug and looked at the woman. "Maeve, it's been a pleasure meeting you, I better get back, got some pictures to print out," she said, she had managed to find a picture of Reira she had taken a while back, now all she needed was one of Lilly and Bonnie and she had the whole set.

When you see a poll of some sort, then try and take the time to read what it's about and who's allowed to vote. This means in particularly the homecoming polls. They are ONLY for High School characters. So if your character isn't a high school student then DO NOT VOTE!!!! Thank you.
Splashing Colours in the Chat

It is now possible to get your name in your favourite colour, as long they don't get too close to Katie, Susie and Kat's (when she's got her colour coded). Anything in a lighter shade or in a completely different colour is possible. All you have to do is send me a PM with a colour code and I will change it asap.
New Admin

Kat has announced that she'll be moving to the Philippines to study and because of that we have announced Katie as our third admin, so I'm not completely alone and Kat can concentrate on her studies. Kat will of course try and be on as much as she can after she's moved. So if something is burning in here, then you can now ask Katie for help as well.

If you haven't voted for the monthly polls yet then you can still do it. Remember that you can use as many of your characters you want to vote with as long you don't vote for one of your own characters. You can find them here. The polls will close June 1. Furthermore we have two homecoming polls. So let your high school characters vote for who should be homecoming king and queen. The polls closes 9 June, you can find them in the event board.
